Great location!
Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures)
Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!
Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior
Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious
Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.
Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches

The hotel is located on a very quiet street in the city center.
Simple but very practical.
Breakfast is served in your room (covid reason)
Good bedding and wifi works well.
A small balcony decorates the whole.
Good address to visit Lagos.
But be careful not to stop. There are only 2 luggage storage offices at the beginning of the street (30m from the hotel)
There are a few vacant places on the street...but the space is full, full
Parking on the boulevard along the canal 600m from the hotel costs 12 Euros/day.

Great location. 5 minute walk to main bus station, 5 minute walk to the harbour strip. Room was spotless, as were toilets and showers. Was a locker and key if required. Though I never used the kitchen, it was clean and looked well stocked. The sun terrace is amazing, traps the sun the whole day. Plenty of grocery and restaurants in the street. Highly recommend!

I heard from the locals around here that this is the only place to call a hotel. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was good, the room was clean and the breakfast was really clean and delicious! The staff were so friendly.
It's a little easy to move by car. Up to the beach
It takes about 40 minutes to walk, the nearby mart is about 10 minutes, and the randrina restaurants are about 15 minutes away.

The location is good, about a 20-minute walk from the train station and bus terminal, and it's very close to the center. The staff are also friendly. The kitchen is a bit small and there is one bathroom for both men and women on each floor, so it's best to avoid busy times. There is a bar on the first floor that is open late, so it can be a bit noisy at night, so it may be difficult for sensitive people.

Negative points:
The beds were not very comfortable for two people as they are not well bundled.
The showers are also improved, you need to press the button every three seconds to get water and have no tub, so the screw is fixed.
The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable.
Check In quite late.
Insonorization could also be better.

The hostel is good and breakfast is sufficient for a youth hostel. The water and bathrooms could be cleaner. We had a few cellars in the room. The service and location are top and it is beautiful for a few days.

AAnna2003Social events were brilliant! Staff very friendly and the hostel had a very social atmosphere. I liked that the rooms had privacy curtains. Everything was clean. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds.
It was a bit noisy at night but from people outside - not the fault of the hostel. It was also a bit hot in the room but reception offered to help with any AC issues.

It's a little easy to move by car. Up to the beach

HHumbertoWe were very well received at the Mar à vista hotel. There was an overbooking and we were transferred to another hotel in the chain, Hotel Auramar, at no additional cost. Excellent reception and amenities. We extended it for another day at another hotel in the chain, both on the beachfront and maintained the initial daily rate. Excellent service and facilities. I highly recommend it.
