We stayed at Sanco Inn Kuwana for a night when we were in town to attend a wedding and found it to be a small but well-equipped hotel in a quiet, charming town. While the room and bathroom were quite compact—just enough space to open one suitcase—they thoughtfully included a small bathtub, though it may be a tight fit for taller guests when showering. It was adequate for us (a family of 2 adults 1 toddler)
The hotel impressed us with its attention to detail, offering various types of pillows and night robes in different sizes, even for children. Breakfast was a concise but well-curated selection. It’s best to come down early, as seating can be limited and there may be a queue for food. Conveniently, takeaway boxes were also available for those who prefer to eat on the go.
The location was great, with several convenience stores nearby and the train station just a few minutes’ walk away. A comfortable and practical stay for a short trip!

松坂で豪華な食事とレトロを格安で楽しむならここ！
マラソン参加で予約しました。
前日は店構えに惹かれて鯛屋旅館さんに泊まったんですが、内装は平成の家って感じで外国語表示があったり、思ってたのと違ってレトロ感なしで残念だったんですが、
２日目、わんぱくご飯とのレビューに惹かれてこちらに宿泊。当たりでした！
店構えは普通なのに内装は明治ー大正レトロ！
流しは、タイルで廊下もいい感じ！
お庭も良さそうなので選んだ部屋がサイトの写真と同じ、眺めのいい部屋で最高でした！！！
中庭が結構広くて、2階も手すりとか木造の良さげな感じ。お風呂もシンプルなタイルだけど少しレトロで広い！一人で軽く泳げる笑
脱衣所はドアがスースーなので、中こそ見えないけど音は丸聞こえなので、レビューにあるようにちょっと落ち着かないかも。でも、脱衣所に江戸時代くらいのタンスがあったり、目で楽しめた。
ご飯は写真の通りとにかく豪華。伊勢海老、お肉！肉肉！
一升びんさんで軽く食べたことを後悔。お肉は翌朝に回してもらいました。白ごはんも契約農家さんらしく美味しい！
食事だけで元がとれるお宿。
ただ、料理にお金をかけまくってるので、
お布団はクタクタです。そこは目を瞑りましょう。
アンタッチャブルTVでお布団を買い替えてあげて欲しいくらいです。クラファンで布団買い換えてもらったらいいのに、、、でもそうすると完璧な宿になるので、かなりコスパも評判もただあがりで予約とれなくなるかもだけど。
朝は朝で高級ホテルみたいなフワトロオムレツでびっくりしました。ここの板前さんは和洋とり混ぜたハイレベルの料理人だとわかります。
中居さんもとてもいい人で、食後にお布団をしいてもらう電話をかけてください と言われたのですが、その際に電話まで少しの距離だけどマラソン後の私が歩きにくいだろうと気遣って、わざわざ電話を真横まで移動させてくれる神対応。素晴らしい方でした。プロ中のプロですね。
朝食の方も、忙しい中、なごやかな会話で癒してくださいました。
普段、色んなところで色んな体験をしたいので
あまり同じところをリピートしない人なのですが、ここは来年もリピート確定です。結構直前で予約したのに大当たり！本当にお世話になり、ありがとうございました！！！
内装も素晴らしいので、状態を維持してほしいなぁというところです。（トイレは新しかった）廊下、洗面に関しては文化財指定でもおかしくない。確か明治からの宿とのこと。守って行ってほしい！

Beautiful location and amazing room with view (book a sea view room). Owner went out of his way to help and was quick to advise me of bad weather forecast and not to attempt mountain passes the next day. Really great breakfast and good public bath. Next door to a shrine with a 1,000 year old camphor tree. Only shame no dinner available and no restaurants close by so not ideal for walkers but if shop ahead then totally worth it. Again host is great.

If you go to the Changdao outlet from the B&B line, you can get to the B&B in about 15 minutes using navigation. The owner will also take the initiative to get in the car when we go. The only drawback is that we have to show up to take a shower, but the bathroom is very neat and clean, so it is not a big problem. If it is at the price of a B&B, it is definitely ok. consider

We were met with such excellent hospitality with Rina and the New Hamaguchi-ya staff. They were thoughtful with their service, the meals provided were definitely prepared with love and great care. Despite the language barriers, we were treated very well and we would definitely come back and stay again!

KKennyMy stay at Shima Hantou in Shima City, Japan was a delightful experience. The location of the hotel is convenient, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 rating. Although it is a bit far from Ise City, it's easily accessible by car, with just a 1-hour journey.
The hotel's cleanliness also deserves a commendable 4 out of 5 rating. As a traditional Japanese hotel, the exterior has a charming appeal. While the interior design may not be the most modern, it is still well-maintained and clean.
One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 rating for service.
In terms of facilities, the hotel offers a basic hot spring bath, which was a relaxing experience. However, it's worth noting that there is only one pool for bathing, and the absence of a cold water bath and sauna facilities somewhat limited the options. Therefore, I would rate the facilities as 4 out of 5.

I was able to respond comfortably to the request for parking and late check-in.
There were convenience stores, taverns, bars nearby.
It was a pity that the TV in the room was not available and the bed was giggling.

GGuest UserVery nice and welcoming owner. Good way very good and hotel a 3 star ryokan with private onsen, which we used alone in the evening. Cafes and nice shrine very short by. Also don’t miss the museum and story of the pearl diver women in that village! If you look for a small village at the coast, it is very natural and less touristic there!

QQianqianqianqianziIt's really a small house with a strong sense of design!!! I was really shocked when I first arrived. This design is so cute! The host and hostess of the B&B are very hospitable. They recommend restaurants around the area and they all taste great! The room is not small, and the six-person dormitory is not crowded. Everyone's suitcases are laid flat on the ground and there is still space to move around. There is a kitchen in the B&B where you can cook by yourself. Bread is provided every day. If you want to eat, you can pay 100 yen to get a piece of bread for breakfast. The bathroom is a bit small, but the overall hygiene is very clean.
