Holiday Inn Guoshang (Tianfu International Airport Branch)
4.3/5206 Reviews
Tianfu International Airport/Jianyangnan Railway Station
The location is remote, totally unexpected. We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road. We were all alert and concerned about where we were heading. A real scare!! Other than that, everything is okay for a night stay.
Sonderia Hostel&Bar-lazybones
4.4/5395 Reviews
Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street
The hostel and rooms are clean and well maintained, the AC is working well and there is complimentary water to refill your bottle. The biggest asset of the hotel is the English speaking staff, who is incredibly helpful, creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. Biggest shout out to Loura, who with her friendliness and smile made our stay there great!
Poshpacker Flipflop Youth Hostel (Taikoo Li Chunxi Road Metro Station)
4.6/52328 Reviews
Chunxi Road Commercial Area
I had a great time here. Let me paint a picture for you: Free. Dumpling. Party. The hosts of the FlipFlop Hostel do a fantastic job of bringing together travellers on their journey through Chengdu. Whether that be making dumplings together, seeing the great Pandas, or excursions into the city to enjoy the local cuisine, the staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, making my trip to Chengdu one to remember. The Room: I had a private room with a window facing the interior stairs. It was cleaned daily and the bed was comfortable, though a little old. The bathroom was also in a good condition for a hostel stay—I’ve added pictures for others convenience. Conclusion: Overall, I am happy with the room quality. And the location is excellent too: easily accessible from the metro and right in the thick-of-it by Chunxi Road. But it is the staff magic that made my stay really enjoyable. I would recommend this to others coming to the city of Pandas 🐼
JinShang Yun Su Apartment(Chengdu Kuanzhai alley)
4.8/51690 Reviews
Chengdu University of TCM/Kuanzhai Alley nearby area
Great and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well. The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26. There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess) The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced. Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.
7 Days Hotel (Chengdu Huaxi Yulin Provincial Gymnasium Subway Station)
4.7/53649 Reviews
West China Hospital and Sichuan Provincial Stadium commercial area
The room was clean and tidy, and the surrounding environment was quiet. I had a good sleep at night. The front desk service was polite. Overall, it was good. Because I was short on time this time, I haven’t tried all the surrounding food. I look forward to coming back next time.
chang ping inn

Changping Valley/Ethnic Customs Street
One of the best thing about Chang Ping Inn is the staffs. Everyone is so nice, welcoming, and helpful. They explained the while things to is; where to go and what to do around here. The staffs even assisted us to book a cab to Zhuangxiaogou and even drove us to the bus terminal to take us back to Chengdu. The room was fine, hot water was working well as well as floor heating system. I personally recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a heartwarming environment :)
Chengdu Qingcheng Youth Hostel Apartment (Chunxi Road IFS Branch)
4.4/5801 Reviews
Chunxi Road Commercial Area
The location was a bit hard to find since it’s deep inside and on the 4th floor but when I called the hostel, a staff came to pick me up and helped me with my luggage. He was super sweet! The staff were all very nice and helpful. I don’t speak much Mandarin so they even helped me with ordering food for delivery. Initially, I stayed in a shared bedroom but the bathroom wasn’t that clean so I changed to a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom and that was perfect!

Friendly and professional staff: The hotel staff are always warm and welcoming. They are very professional and patient in answering guests' questions and providing assistance, adding warmth to guests' journeys.
Qingcheng Mountain several mountain houses
4.9/5170 Reviews
Qingcheng Mountain and Tai'An Ancient Town
Came with high expectations, but felt a little disappointed after staying. First of all, the location is very inconvenient. It is on a separate hillside. The slope is very steep. It takes ten minutes to go down the mountain. It will probably take more than twenty minutes to climb up and I will be exhausted. The car cannot drive up the mountain. There is a small B&B. There is a shuttle bus, but it will only take the initiative to pick up and drop off once you check in and check out. The rest of the time you have to leave the courtyard by walking. It is very troublesome to go out to play in the back mountains or go to eat. The second is insect prevention. There are many bugs that cannot be avoided when staying in a B&B in the mountains. I was mentally prepared for this from the beginning, but I don’t know if the owner is afraid of damaging the ecology. There are almost no insect prevention measures in the B&B. I was bitten outside the courtyard. Not to mention the large and small bags, we kill an average of more than 7 bugs in the room every day with our bare hands, of different varieties and colors, and some even crawled onto the bed. There are no insect repellent facilities in the house, and there is only a bottle of shared toilet water in the common area. We closed the door almost immediately when we entered and exited, and we never opened the window screen. There was no possibility that we let the mosquitoes in ourselves. Then there are the facilities, which provide disposable bath towels, face towels and disposable slippers. They are very friendly to the germophobe. Thumbs up. The bedding is very clean and comfortable. Thumbs up. The yard looks nice for taking pictures. Thumbs up, but the curtains do not block the light at all. , I could hardly sleep for a whole night without wearing an eye mask, and when I pulled it off, it was full of dust, which made me choke and sneeze. The cloth chairs in the public area were also very dirty, with serious stains. When we booked the room, we went to the terrace outside the room. , I thought I could drink tea and chat up there, but I didn’t expect that it was full of ants and fallen leaves. Maybe this is the original ecology. Then there is the service. The pricing of the B&B should be considered above average among the B&Bs in Houshan, but I really didn’t feel the corresponding service. The breakfast was very simple, with no variety to choose from, and not everyone offered coffee. The shuttle bus was very dirty. I have never been in such a dirty bus. It felt like it had never been washed. I couldn’t order takeout. I asked several companies but they were not willing to deliver it. I could only eat food from the farmhouse that cooperated with the B&B. The choices were very limited. . In general, you do need to pay for the sentiment when staying in a famous hotel, but the feeling of our stay is not worth it. The supporting measures have not kept up at all, and the experience is really not good. I hope the boss can improve it! Post a picture to prove you’ve really been here
Zhongting Xiyun Hotel
4.5/5134 Reviews
Great place with a great owner. The hotel itself is very nice and it had everything needed, with a nice courtyard. The location is also perfect. The owner helped me plan a day trip where there were no tourists, and he also bought the bus ticket to go back to Chengdu for me, and even followed me to the bus stop. Great help.
