2-Star Hotels in Sichuan, China

Coming out of Aden, it was snowing all the way along the Zhangmeng Line and the visibility was almost zero. I was lucky enough to encounter an oil tanker leading the way. I followed closely for more than 3 hours and successfully arrived in Litang at 22:00. They whistled to signal each other when they parted. In order to have a good night's sleep while waiting for the wind to come, this is the only accommodation in western Sichuan where you can sit on the toilet and use bath towels without any burden.

All the other reviews about this place does not lie! English speaking and will translate on an app if needed. Upon arrival the staff members quickly grabbed our luggage’s and got our passport ready for check in. Once I got the keycard and a little explanation of how everything works. The luggage’s were already delivered to the 3rd floor. The high altitude sickness definitely set in once I arrived. The staff will explain to you what to do and what not to do during your duration. Their first floor is a cafe/restaurant the food was not bad, tried out their yak meat hotpot and noodles. All staff members are very friendly and will smile. They also assisted in calling a taxi for us to go to shuangqiaogou. Didi did not work at all for any cabs in the vicinity. Nextdoor is a mini store that sells oxygen cans, I suggest you buy there as that was the only store within walking distance that I saw. Everywhere else around is either hotel and/or restaurants. Temperature drops rapidly in the area, definitely pack a light jacket or a heavy one depending on your preference. The floor heating works at 4:30pm and afterwards, you have to turn it on. The flooring gets warm really quick. Bathroom was great, it had a Dyson (with the cpi logo) hairdryer as well as a heating fan that works almost instantly. Slippers are provided and recommended inside because the wet floor tiles will get you if you become too overconfident. Everyday early morning the smell of cooked food rises up and it smelled great. Some may or may not like it. It’s not too strong of a smell in the room but in the hallway it is. One thing that was not mentioned and I found out the hard way as I got bored and wanted to head out at midnight to smoke. The main doors are locked from approximately 10:30pm to 7:00am. You cannot enter or leave unless prior arrangements were made (late arrivals or check outs).

The owner is very kind, take good care of us. Our flight to daocheng yading was cancelled, the owner contacted the bus for us, allowing us to visit yading with a little change in plan. The accommodation is only 5 minutes from the bus station, and close to shops and restaurants. The room is clean and tidy. The bathroom is a flush toilet. I give it 5 stars.

We arrived late at 11.30pm after taking the night train and then a bus from Huanglongjiuzhai station, yet the lady boss was kind and attentive, offering to explain how to navigate Jiuzhaigou. The room is clean and has everything we need, and the bed is wonderful to sleep in.

Very considerate and attentive. Because we didn't arrive at the hotel until 12:30 at night, the boss had already arranged the reception and prepared the wake-up service for the next morning. The next morning, when I came down from the Golden Summit, I saw the picturesque floor-to-ceiling windows, which was very beautiful and comfortable! I slept well for an hour and quickly recovered my strength. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. A very good experience, worth recommending 👍👍👍.

Room and toilet is clean, hotel staff refill the amenities everyday. Surrounding hotel have lots of restaurant and activities. Overall good experience here.

We absolutely love the location as the hotel is a stone's throw to good street food nearby and also a nice fruit stall just downstairs. We also love looking at the locals doing their daily exercise in the park just beside the building :) Do check out the roof top cafe if you are planning to stay here as it offers a really nice view n quiet escape if u need a breather from running around. They serve artisanal coffee and rich creamy cake if you need something sweet (but not that sweet). Altho we did not check out the activities n tours that the staff can help to coordinate, they were really helpful and explain everything very well. I choose the hotel for its nice rooms, and we really enjoy our rest on the clean n firm but comfy beds :) Sharing a shot of Chunxi Road which is like 5-10mins walk away :)

Get off the bus at the parking lot from Chengdu, walk out onto the street and walk to the left, walk up a bit, about 70 meters, you will see a bridge, turn left, walk across the bridge, and walk for 200 meters, you will see the hotel on the right, a yellow building. The hotel has an awning in front. There is breakfast, the room is clean, the bed is soft, sleep very comfortably, the room is just not soundproof. Everything else is good. I highly recommend this hotel if anyone comes to sleep at Bipengou. In the morning, you can check out and leave your bags at the hotel. Then go to Bipengou conveniently. After sightseeing, come back to get your bags and take the bus back to Chengdu.

Booking in on arrival was a rigmarole as after checking in i had to be taken to a different office and do it all again due to having two rooms! A half hour process. My biggest problem ( along with so many other guests) was the ridiculous waiting for the lifts. There were only two ( and at one point one was broken) to serve the entire building. This was also the only service lift, so most times it was crammed with the cleaning staff and things and once all the floors rubbish. Because people had waited so long, they all packed in hard often overloaded. Regularly waited 15!minutes and too high for the stairs. Then the exit escalator wouldn't be on. This place does not serve disabled people.

I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive throughout my stay. They kindly provided me with an adapter for my charger, which was a lifesaver. Self check-in was smooth and convenient – I received clear, detailed instructions on how to find the apartment, which made everything stress-free, even though I arrived late. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and everything worked perfectly – from the hot water to the Wi-Fi. The area is also great, with plenty of local Chinese restaurants and grocery stores nearby, giving me a real taste of the local culture. I felt very comfortable and at home here. Would definitely stay again!
