Staff was very helpful. I was having problem with my alipay and the counter staff helped solve my issue. We bought tickets to Tian Men Mountain and Zhang Jia Jie Forest Park through the inn and he was kind enough to make sure that our tickets had no problems. Location was good. Near Tian Men Mountain entrance. Lots of good food. No need to worry about meals.

Decided to extend our stay at Shanjian Boutique Hostel after our flight got cancelled and thankfully there was a room for us! Owner was also very kind to lend us his phone to call our next hotel in Shanghai to inform them that we have change our travel plans. 第二次入住时，感觉就像回到了家，很舒服 🤭

Arrived here very late at night 10pm and was surprised to see that the owner has been waiting for us at the counter, despite the late night she was very nice and patient in explaining the room services even though we were only staying for one night for Tianmen the next morning. They allowed us to leave the luggage there while we were out for the day exploring, and welcomed us to rest in their lounge area if we needed to wait for our train. We are pleased with their friendliness and service. The inn is located in a good location in the middle of the many picturesque alley ways, look out for the word “指南针” because we walked past it the first time and was confused for awhile. Very close to the tianmen cable car station and nice eateries nearby! Hotel room is slightly small but clean and very comfortable, cozy. Super recommended :)

The hotel I stayed in a few days ago was too far from Pozi Street and Huangxing Road. It was inconvenient to go back to the hotel after shopping every day, so I wanted to change to a hotel closer to Pozi Street. So I chose Xingchen Garden Hotel, which is near the river on Pozi Street. I was so surprised after checking in. The room was very large and had two duplex lofts. Each loft had a big bed. It was comfortable to sleep! You can put your luggage downstairs and spread it out, and the space is spacious! There is a big refrigerator and a cooking table with a sink. You can put the food you can't eat from the pedestrian street in the refrigerator. Resting upstairs and eating snacks downstairs do not affect each other. You can see the river view outside the window during the day, and the neon lights of the buildings along the river at night. It's so comfortable. Out of the building is Pozi Street, Wenheyou, Jiangbian, Du Fu Jiangge, Huoguangdian, Huangxing Road, Taiping Old Street, subway station..., it's convenient to travel! The store owner is also very friendly and the room is clean. It's a hotel worth staying in.

Excellent location as it is within walking distance to tianmen cable car. Might be hard to find the place if you don’t read Chinese as the English name can’t be found outside the building. The room itself is very clean and I think it’s new. Even though there are no smoking signs, people still smoke inside - including the owner. I was lucky to have a room that didn’t have any smell so that’s why I still recommend this place.

The main reason we chose this hotel was it’s excellent location (near to the major shopping malls Wangfujing, IFS mall and the famous Taiping street) and after reading several of its positive reviews by the guests. However since the hotel is located in the busy area, the road leading to the hotel was not accessible by car after 8 pm. As such our taxi driver had to stop us a little distance away. So please bear in mind this accessibility issue after 8 pm.. The hotel is located on the fifth floor of a building shared by other businesses. The lifts were old and small. Nevertheless all the initial disappointment faded away upon reaching the hotel. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a pleasant surprise. It was neat, clean with many unexpected features unlike other hotels of the same category. Facilities are modern, complete and the room well lighted. The bathroom is comfortable, with automated heated toilet seat, and powerful shower facility. Another good feature is the wash basin located outside the toilet. There is also a Laifen hairdryer and even a projector. The service was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff always offering additional drinking water and providing free laundry service, a highly appreciated

This hotel is super comfy. New hotel, everything is brand new. The Staff also very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and Aircon works very well. Close to Bus and train station, and also the cableway station to the TianMen Mountain. A lot of convenience store and also restaurant. There is one restaurant just a few minutes walk from the hotel. the food is fantastic. One of the best meal ever had in china. Sure comeback one day. Recommended

The company went to Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center to participate in the exhibition and chose a nearby hotel. This hotel is near the high-speed rail station, less than one kilometer away. A few hundred meters walk is the Duhua Road subway entrance. We took the subway 2 stops to the terminal station Guangda Station to the Convention and Exhibition Center, which is very convenient. We stayed here for several days in a row. The environment of the hotel is very good, and the decoration is very good. We booked a cinema twin room, which is very comfortable to watch movies on the big screen. The sanitation is also very clean, the bedding is clean and soft, and it is equipped with disposable towels, slippers and other toiletries. The bathroom is also clean. The service attitude of the front desk lady is very good, and it is convenient to issue tickets. I will come again for the exhibition next year.

I couldn’t ask for a better place! A lovely family ran business with amazing location and smart, clean rooms. Upon arrival I was already greeted with tea and the owner with her son offering to plan my trip for me. As I am a solo traveller I spent a lot of time with the family who always invited me for tea and food. The owner was very accommodating from planning the trips to the mountains, to buying tickets, booking taxis and she would even offer to drop you off at the entrance to the park every morning. I would consider this place over any other hotel. It will definitely make you want to come back again!

The best thing about the whole trip to Zhangjiajie during the National Day holiday was booking this hotel. The boss and his family were super nice. The pick-up service helped us to go to the 72 Wonders Towers to play, saving a lot of money for night tours. The detailed recommended routes and attractions were based on us. Then we got up early and took a taxi directly to the mountain gate. We arrived at 6 o'clock to wait for the gate to open. It felt great to be the first wave to enter the mountain. I came down at 11 o'clock and saw the crowds queuing up to three floors. I was really grateful for the boss's recommendation. After that, he also planned how to play in the forest park behind for us. I strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Owner was friendly, helpful and accommodative - thankful for that. It is a no-frills accommodation near the West train station (approx 8mins walk). Note though that the room I had did smell of cigarettes, toilet ventilation is a bit weak so it may smell a bit. Amenities wise, you can find some eateries and convenient stores nearby.

It was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing that I will warn foreign travelers about is that the hotel only has chinese bathrooms. I think the best thing about the place is that is very central, is near the bus station and the cableway to Tianmen, plus there are a lot of restaurants (chinese and western food) and stores where you can buy daily necessity.

Had everything you needed. Near wuyi square and street vendors nearby. The mall under wuyi square is a bit run down though. Hotel was very spacious. Only thing is the door slider for the shower was missing.

It's pretty good, you can watch TV, the air conditioner responds quickly, the hot water is very hot, the elevator runs relatively fast, the washing machine downstairs is also clean, the laundry detergent is very fragrant, the cleaning lady has great service, and the location is easy to find

good location right next to train station. also near many food places still open late into the night. hotel staff is alright, does basic check in and does answer your question when u ask. that’s about it for the interaction. room was big and spacious. made the effort to decorate the hotel 8th floor and also the room. provided all basic necessities and bed is comfy enough.

A very good living experience. First of all, the location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from Huangxing Square Pedestrian Street, which can be reached within a ten-minute walk. Shopping and eating are extremely convenient, and the nearest bus and subway are accessible. The room is not big, located on the 27th floor of the building, with a good visual effect, overlooking the Xiangjiang Orange Island, but the facilities are complete, and taking a bath and watching the night view from a distance is a good feeling. I will stay here again next time I come to Changsha.

The hotel was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. It was just a bit hard for me to find because of the name. But if you’re coming from any bus station, you’ll walk towards the map location, and will get to a fork road. The left one goes down to the river walkway, the right one goes to the hotel road. Take the right one and keep looking to your left, and the hotel is just a few meters from the fork road.

The location is great, inside the old city. It was a bit difficult to find because I was not looking at the street numbers so I ended up in another hostel and the lady there helped me and brought me to the hotel. Most Chinese people I encountered have helped me a lot even though don't speak Mandarin. I was offered a better room with views of the riverside, but I had a tight schedule and was alone, so I didn't need an upgrade, I just wanted to sleep there. But if you go with family or couple I highly recommend you take the rooms with views, the village is amazing at night with the lights. In my case I went from the train station to the hotel through the Maglev and a bus. But I took the taxi to the train station, I think it's better, faster and cheaper that you just take a taxi to the hotel. Thanks for everything!

The lady helped with carrying my heavy bag all the way to the hotel! Crossing the river and up so many steps💔 I felt really bad. So future guests, please carry a light piece of luggage with you. If you are demanding, please take a detour. The lady boss will also introduce you to the ancient city route. The accommodation is definitely the best location by the Tuojiang River. I arrived during the day and couldn't find a place, but the boss enthusiastically came to pick me up.
