I absolutely loved staying here! The staff were so helpful, they helped me plan my trips through the national park and Tianmen mountain showing me different options based on the time I had there and included summaries of time taken and prices or any additional costs. Once the trips were planned they gave me brilliant maps where they drew out the routes and booked the entrance tickets for me at a discount. I had no issues at all on either day spent trekking. The room was clean with fresh towels provided daily and a comfortable bed. They have good English too and are very helpful for any questions I had. It’s also just off an area with small restaurants and food stalls selling delicious food and is in a prime location for tianmen mountain. For the park, they showed me where to get the bus from. Would definitely stay here again.

Very authentic Chinese accommodation. Very clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom not perfect but functional and clean. Excellent support from staff on planning visit to the national park and arranging tickets and reservations. Happy friendly place to stay. Places nearby to eat and short distance to walk to the east gate of national park. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but what really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was amazingly friendly and genuinely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Truly excellent service. I would definitely stay here again 😍

Tourists who want to travel freely in Changsha can choose this hotel. The room is clean, the location is moderate and the price is reasonable. It was very comfortable to stay for three nights.

On arrival the room I was provided with had a very strong smell of smoke. I couldn’t get used to the smell so I asked the lady at reception if there were any other alternative rooms and she very quickly let me move to another room which was much better so I really appreciated this. The cleanliness of the room could have been better but overall I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the view was fantastic.

The hotel is a good option for budget travelers looking for a convenient location to stay in as it's just across the road from the Zhangjiajie Railway Station (not to be confused with the Zhangjiajie West Railway Station), Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station (which will have busses that take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, etc.), and is within walking distance to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. The downside is you get what you pay for, and while the room overall was tidy, there was a slight odor in my room that never went away, my shower doors seemed to be broken and couldn't close completely, and I had the misfortune of seeing a small cockroach in my room as I was packing up to check out. All in all, I liked the hotel for the convenience of its location and relatively low price, but felt the room could've been better maintained for an overall better stay.

The hotel has the best location in the city, in the very center on the river bank. There are wonderful views from the balcony. The room is huge, beautiful, with a Western toilet. The hostess is amazing! She met us on the bridge, escorted us to the hotel, and even helped us carry our luggage. She gave us a map of the city with the sights, told us everything and showed us on it. We communicated using a translator on the phone, we haven't troubles with this wonderful women in communication. We are very glad that we chose this hotel!

This small hotel is perfect and is situated in an excellent location, close to the Tianmenshan Cableway station, which serves as the starting point for the A route to Tianmen Mountain. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a laundry service available, but they do not have a tumble dryer. Instead, they will hang your clothes outside in the hot weather. However, if you visit during the wet or cold season, you will need to dry your clothes in your room. We visited in June, which was both scorching hot and rainy. While there is no fridge in the room, you can ask the staff to store your food in their refrigerator.

Ray was an amazing proprietor. Upgraded my room for free, gave me tips on how to get around and where to go and even made sure that I wouldn’t miss my connecting train in the morning. Massive bonus for speaking English - nothing wrong with being unable to speak English but I don’t speak Chinese so this was a major help. Highly recommend this place to stay, the only con I can think of is that it is a bit hard to find at first (but the town overall is hard to navigate, so it isn’t specific to the hotel). I’d give a 6/5 if that was an option.
