The hotel is very close to the airport and it seems that there is a shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel. The room was very clean, the staff service was good, the breakfast was good, the hotel had a gym and a swimming pool, very good, the only downside was that the bathroom was a bit old.
Just off US-231, find us surrounded by restaurants. Troy University, Veterans Memorial Stadium, and the Troy Arboretum are all within two miles. The Pioneer Museum of Alabama and the Johnson Center for the Arts are only a 10-minute drive away. Enjoy our complimentary breakfast, outdoor pool and patio with grills, and fitness center.
There was a fridge and microwave in the room but they didn't work. There was no overhead lighting so you had to use floor lamps or table lamps. Several of the outlets were not working so some of the floor lamps didn't work. There was also a $50 deposit required at reception.
Great location for Alabama. I tried to get late check out the night before but I got pushed to the morning - then the morning staff was late and I couldn't get an answer.
Hotel was nice - older rooms but nice downstairs!
The employees were kind and helpful, hotel was nice and clean, and the area was safe ! Parking isn’t the best and they do charge around $20. We weren’t able to find a spot so we had to park on the street and they kindly took away our parking fee without any issues ! Would definitely come back !

AAnonymous UserGreat location for our soccer tournament. Room was clean but one of the ladies at the front desk was rude to me both times I had to interact with her.
GGuest UserThe Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, Alabama, was a beautiful place! I liked the hotel layout. My favorite parts while staying there were collecting shells on their beaitiful private beach behind the hotel, leisurely riding innertubes on their ”heated river” behind the hotel and enjoying their delicious breakfast buffet. Every hotel employee we met was wonderful and helpful! I reserved a physicallyhandicapped room with island view. My only unpleasant part of my stay was the flooding from the handicapped bathroom shower that flooded the bathroom floor, into the front entrance to the room, even wetting the hall carpet. I reported it to the front desk, who thanked me for reporting it. They said it was because it was a handicapped room. I told them it didn't matter...if it was a handicapped room or not. I told them more care should have been taken considering it was for a handicapped person. What if I'd fallen on the wet floor and gotten hurt? Anyway, I liked the hotel but I don't recommend renting and reserving the handicapped room (#415) until these issues are corrected and the room, itself, is updated and this problem is completely corrected. Thanks! Rhonda Tippett
AAnonymous UserWe wanted to stay in Irondale rather than Birmingham and although this property didn't have great or CURRENT reviews, the description said that it was renovated in 2024 and no other property had a better review. It was indeed updated in some areas and our room was very nicely appointed with new upholstery and modern furniture but it was not clean. There was a layer of dust (construction?) on EVERYTHING and long, dark hairs on the bathroom floor. The window glass was filthy. The freezer was so in need of defrosting that the door would not shut and we were unable to refreeze our flat ice packs. I would guess that no one has stayed in the room since the renovation and the room had not received a post-construction cleaning. The elevator was very dirty, noisy, and a bit scary to ride to the 4th floor. The regular clientele is obviously traveling construction workers. Staff was very friendly but unprofessional.
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice. Not as nice as I thought it would be but its clean. The bathroom could use some updates and some new tile grouting around the tub. But not a bad or gross place. The AC was broken. The chillers were up and down, and no matter what I tried the room temp was getting hotter by the min. When I first checked in the room was 70° F. I set the AC at 67 and 20 min later it was 72°. A few others in the hotel told be they had to be moved to a new room. I did not stay they night, I left at 9pm. Too hot and humid.
The staff was amazing and super helpful and understanding. The lady at the front desk deserves a raise. Because the staff was awesome I would consider trying the location again. (After they get the AC fixed)

JJINGThe hotel is right next to the beach and has free parking. There is a refrigerator and utensils in the room to cook. Ctrip booked very quickly, but the hotel front desk said that they did not receive the money, and recorded my credit card again. I don't know if I will deduct the money.
Ttyne berry 420⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay, Clean & Modern Hotel
I had a very pleasant one-night stay at Tru by Hilton Huntsville Research Park Area. The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained, with a bright and welcoming lobby. Check-in was quick and easy, and there was plenty of free parking.
The room was comfortable and spotless, with strong Wi-Fi, a great shower, and a comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was fresh and well organized.
The location is convenient to Research Park, shopping, restaurants, and major attractions, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Huntsville.
GGuest UserUpon arrival waited 10 minutes for clerk to appear. Didn't even apologize for delay. No one else in lobby. Checked in and then I was to be charged $10 for indulgence fee? and if nothing charged would credit back to charge card. Told her I didn't want to but clerk with silver short hair with pink *****e said it was required. If not used it would be credited back upon check out. The next morning asked same lady about funds being added back she couldn't do it but would notify my credit card department. At this moment a day later still no charge added back. Is this some standard policy? Or was this a way to have customers purchase unwanted snacks or goodies from your snack area?
GGuest UserThere is a house that works there. A older black ladies with grey dreadlocks. I have cout her two or three times trying to come in my room while I got the no disturbing sign on the out side. She never knocks. It's this morning she did it slick. She opened my door gently and seen the lock was on and slightly let it close bbk. A bout a week ago I was there she opened my door but I had it latched. She said something and walk off. My girlfriend came out there and picked me up. When we got bbk my golden clippers where gone, even the charger. I still didn't say nothing to her higher up because they wasn't going to do anything.
GGuest Uservalet and bellman were promt and very friendly. check in was fast ,courteous and very pleasant. asked if there was anything we needed. there was security at the elevator to the rooms. room was very nice, comfortable and clean.
