Stayed for a night in Malacca and booked a deluxe twin room, but I wasn't too happy with the room on the first floor. After speaking with the front desk staff, I paid a little extra to upgrade to an executive suite. Overall, the executive suite's facilities were fantastic. The hotel's location is also excellent, right by the river, so you can take a stroll along the river after breakfast in the morning. It's also very close to all the main attractions on Jonker Street. Highly recommended.

Had a good stay here with my besties. The room is clean but a bit cramp for 5 of us for queen bed, 2 super single bed & extra bed. Location is good as it's nearby to tourist attraction area, we just have to walk abt 3-5mins.

Not too far from Jonker Street, easily walkable. The hygiene was pretty good, and the bedding was comfortable enough. There's a durian shop very close to the hotel, which was really convenient. The downside was that rooms facing the street could hear motorcycles revving at night, which disturbed my sleep.
The hotel very convenient for walk to Josker street, the nearby have a lot delicious food for restaurants and coffee shop . And the breakfast also good food. The hotel inside have a lot antique Nyonya and baba culture thing .
This new hotel has a great location, surrounded by plenty of food options and shops. It also offers very good value for money and is highly recommended for budget travelers.
The room was new, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, and ample parking is available. It would be even better if a water dispenser were provided.
This is my second business trip to Malacca this year, and my second stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located, with plenty of food options at the weekend night market. The carpets in the hallway were extremely dirty, and the room I got this time was tiny, good thing I was traveling alone. It's 850 meters from Jonker Street Night Market and 3 kilometers from the central station, making it a good value-for-money transit hotel. The deposit is 50 MYR and the heritage tax is 3 MYR.
This place probably used to be great, but it's really showing its age and needs some serious maintenance.
**Location:** Very convenient.
**Amenities:** Didn't have time to use them.
**Cleanliness:** Needs improvement.
**Service:** I have to say, the human customer service was excellent. I really appreciate not getting those robotic, AI-like responses where you wait forever for a reply. The deposit was refunded quickly, so the service was good in that regard.

Very Good
GGuest UserOur stay at Puteri Bay Melaka was great 👍🏼 The location was great because we are able to have a good view of the beach, and it was near food places. The hotel reception and staff were also kind and helpful. Food selection for breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable and had a good sleep 👍🏼👍🏼
The downside was that the toilet was not totally clean as there were strands of hairs sticking out from under the bed. Additionally, there were no toothbrushes provided in the room, and the prayer mat had an odour.
Generally, the stay was good although maybe staff need to ensure the room cleanliness and smell abit more?
I would still recommend the hotel for the comfortable beds and nice view and location beside the waterfront 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
AAlyakhooMany shops, restaurant and 7-11 nearby.
There's hotel parking on the street.
However, hotel corridors and room is very warm. Air cond services need improvement.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, a fair walk from Jonker Street, which made getting around at night a bit inconvenient.
The room had a dark, somewhat eerie decor, complete with an old-fashioned TV and two opposing floor-to-ceiling windows. The overall vibe felt a bit unsettling to stay in. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet wobbled a bit, which wasn't ideal, and the air conditioning vent was directly above the bed, making it quite cold at night.
The light switch design was poorly thought out; turning off the switch for the bathroom would cut off its power and ventilation, and turning it back on would restore power, but the ventilation fan was incredibly noisy, buzzing constantly and disrupting my rest.
The front desk staff were quite friendly and they offered a simple breakfast of toast, bread, eggs, milk, and coffee. You have to clean up and dispose of your own dishes after eating. Overall, it's decent value for money and perfectly fine for a one-night stopover, especially for budget-conscious short trips. 🧐🧐
JJef12My First Stay at Styles Hotel
Had a wonderful first stay at Styles Hotel! The location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk to Jonker Street, making it super convenient. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. A special shout-out to Ikram for the warm hospitality and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
AAnonymous UserGood hotel. Nice and clean.
Very convenient for us since just a walking distance hotel for the feast day (St. Pedro).
This is not our first timer. Been regular to this hotel without miss for a yearly event.
GGuest UserI tried to reach out the night before check-in regarding the check-in details but received no reply. On the day of check-in, my calls went unanswered. I had to contact Ctrip for help, and it took about half an hour to finally get the check-in instructions.
The living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were all very clean and modern. However, the bath towels were very old and had an unpleasant odor; as you can see in the picture, the 'white' towels were actually a yellowish-brown.
The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and leisure facilities nearby. Be warned, though: as the apartment is right by a main road, there was a lot of noise from late-night street racers. This is a heads-up for light sleepers.
ZZhouyoulieguodeshaguaIt feels a bit like a hostel, but the hygiene is good, and you have to take off your shoes when you enter. There's a very cute and friendly cat. On the first night, there was no hot water, but it was resolved after I reported it. The concept of Swallow's Nest is environmental protection and energy saving, so sometimes it feels inconvenient, but on second thought, it's not bad. The room is quite small, and the bathroom design is extremely compact. Since they don't provide breakfast, the hotel offers free instant noodles and coffee packets. The lobby on the first floor feels like a living room at home. It's very comfortable to sit and chat with a cup of Milo before bed.
Mmr hishamVery suitable for family gatherings, worth the price .... only the expectation is not very high, for those who like quiet, it is the best tmot
DDatouxiaoxiaoOverall, this hotel is pretty good, and the price is relatively cheap. The main advantage is its location, right near Jonker Street, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The picture I uploaded shows the environment from the hotel's main entrance. The interior room photos match what they advertised. There are various room types; I booked a room facing the street with a balcony, not one overlooking the river. One downside is that there's a record bar downstairs, and it can be quite noisy at night, making it a bit difficult to fall asleep.
