3-Star Hotels in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea

I love the setting environment, I was more of an apartment style hallway vs a hotel atmosphere. First walking into the room, I didn't expect the front entrance to have a separate entry into the room, it's an added bonus especially for security. I love the bathtub and rainfall shower but felt kinda uncomfortable with the glass door to the bathroom, wished it had a curtain just like the window separating the bathroom from the living area. I was confused at first with how to turn on the air-conditioning since the sign on the wall said to use the remote to turn on heating. Only to realize it meant that the remote controlled the room temperature (ac/heating system), along with the lights and TV. That's the first I've seen of that. The hotel personal hygiene bag came with some goodies to special treats for couples 😉. But I really loved the extra amenities such as the ladies and men's lotion and perfume/aftershave and also the hairspray and combs that were provided. That's a huge plus for the hotel. But one of the big turn offs was that later in the night the bathroom started to smell like cigarette smoke coming through ventilation. Then also the late check in after 7pn was also a downside. But other than it was a shock to see a hotel provide a desktop computer in the room.

Overall clean but when you stayed? The same thing was seen in the bathroom and there was a little dust in the room. But the hot spring water was good enough to come next time and the room was warm so it was so good :) There are various amenities available, and breakfast is provided during the week, and there are places to walk around, so it's one night. It was a pity. Recommended for those who come to Deoksan Onsen.

We had an amazing stay at Dalmong Pension in Hongseong. The owners of the pension were very friendly and gave us a full tour of the place including the rooftop, lights and AC/thermostat information, and told us what services were available. There was a rooftop area with seating and complimentary coffee, and great places to take photos. Parking was not a problem because there were tons of spaces to park our car. The size of the room was very large, and the AC/heating was very good. The room was extremely clean, and had a good smell when we walked in. We would definitely stay here again!

It was so peaceful and clean. The place is so green n beautiful; lush green fields. There were 2 rooms and 1 living room. Living room had dining table , tv n nice sofa. There was one centralized AC and they gave us 2 fans. One room had bed and other had ondol floor. The kitchen was equipped with all utensils and they all were clean. They had rice cooker, oven, washing machine, induction stove, sink. They gave tooth paste but bring your own tooth brush. One washroom and 4 towels were provided. The owner were very nice and they had very cute dog. Overall very nice experience.

We stayed in a non-smoking room and that was good. There was a smoke smell in the hallway but there was no smell in the room which was good. It was very close to the bus terminal which was very convenient as we arrived after 9 pm at night. There were many nearby places where we could get food to eat. Check in was easy as we had prepaid. The room was more spacious than many we have stayed in, and it was good having a separate seating area with a sofa and table. It was a good firm bed. We left early the next morning to our next destination.

We stayed here for two nights and it was amazing! The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure we had a good time. The room was super cozy and clean, and we couldn’t have wished for a nicer view. The pool was awesome and we had a very good time there. We were even able to use the barbecue, the host prepared everything nicely for us and we enjoyed a nice dinner at sunset. 10/10, totally recommend!!

Very cozy hotel. The room is very clean, warm floor, air cleaner, all the shower facilities except a few creams of different purposes. There is a computer for video games. The most important thing is a bath with thermal water - private Onsen in your room! In general, a wonderful hotel, I recommend. But a very unpleasant rainfall from the person who took me on the respiratory. The rude and arrogant attitude of a young man towards an old woman has spoiled the first impression. It is good that I haven't seen him anymore, and others have been polite and responsive. I hope the hotel manager will conclude that it isn't possible to take guests as aggressively as they are.

First of all, the view was great, and it was even better that I could see the sea while half-bathing in the bathtub! It's right near the beach, so there are a lot of restaurants nearby, and the bean sprout soup I had for breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is in a convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the Gongju Bus Terminal, and there is a 7-Eleven right in front. It’s a bit of a distance to the main sightseeing area as you have to cross the river. However, the room was clean and well-equipped with amenities, making it a great option for a short stay.

I planned to stay three nights and had already paid, but I couldn't arrive on the first night, so I ended up staying two. I checked in late at night, but they only let me know my name and I didn't even have to show my passport. 😅 Is it the floor where foreigners stay? It seemed like rooms were assigned, and there were signs in English and Japanese. A microwave, kettle, and two bottles of water per day were provided. There were two bottles of mixed coffee in the room and at the front desk. There was one bath towel and two sports towels. I arrived at the station late at night, but I was relieved to see the Metro neon signs from Exit 2. This is the closest convenience store near Exit 2. The room was originally built like a rental studio apartment, but it was incredibly spacious. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, so I didn't need to use the shower next to the toilet, and it didn't flood. The cleaning wasn't great, and there was a lot of hair on the floor, which was disappointing. It's a little pricey, but that's understandable considering there aren't many hotels near the station.
