I always feel safe staying here. On weekends, there are many other guests, so the noise can be a concern, but on weekdays it is very quiet and nice.

We didn't know that this is a love hotel and only realised it the day before checking in, as the check in is only from 6pm. The room is very spacious and we didn't mind the ****, condoms and lots of beauty products it came with. :D However, I didn't know that hotel rooms in Japan can allow smoking, so the strong cigarette smell in the room was very off putting. We put up a 'do not disturb' sign because we don't need cleaning daily. The second day I noticed some of the **** from the hotel were gone in our room but the room wasn't made (bed wasn't made, trash not emptied). I asked the staff and they said they removed it because they thought it bothered us. This was a bit weird to me, I'm not sure where they got the idea from and I don't know why they entered the room. It's also important to note that the train only runs once per hour most of the day (during some hours twice).

Japanese version of the full season, the room is relatively large, you can see Hikone Castle, 100 meters away from the JR station, the price is very high, the breakfast is average, optional meals are included, there is a super large store across the road, the second floor taxfree has a variety of cosmetics Clothing and local products, the underground supermarket is large and you can buy all kinds of lunch boxes, with a microwave and dining area. Hikone is so cute, Hikone Castle is so so

The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The breakfast is exquisite. The best is the ninth floor Omi beef teppanyaki. The meat is tender and the appetizer is paired with salmon dishes. The dessert strawberries are amazing.

The front desk is located on the second floor of the Lawson convenience store in the west exit rotary, right next to Kusatsu Station. The three staff members at the small front desk were efficient and helpful. The contracted parking lot is in the building immediately to the left as you enter the rotary, and the signs were easy to find. The overnight parking fee of 500 yen was a welcome bonus. The amenities were also of high quality. The water, tea, and snacks in the refrigerator were all free, which was a nice touch.

This is a **** hotel. They probably weren't too welcoming of a solo driver like me. I was in a rush from Kyoto and saw free parking, so I happened to book this place. There was no one in the hotel. There was a phone at the main entrance (probably for communication). Japanese people book rooms knowing which one they want and go straight to their rooms (without locking the door) because they want privacy. When I arrived, I tried to find someone, but an elderly woman who didn't speak English came out and talked for a long time before finally letting me in... But then I think they probably asked for two of us. I nodded randomly, and only then did I understand why I was there. There was a ************ rental price list on the table. I wouldn't have made any money going alone. I have to say, the Japanese really know how to have fun in this area!

We were traveling independently, and the single room was much bigger than the one we had in a tour group before, and the environment was also very good. The highlights of this hotel: it is close to Otsu Tram Station, and there are only two stops to Kyoto by taking the new rapid line: Yamashina Station and Kyoto Station. It is more convenient to travel north to Lake Biwa. It takes less than half an hour to walk to Otsu Cruise Port, and a taxi costs about 1,000 yen. Go to Japan's national treasure town: Hikone; take the Hiei Mountain Line Cable Car (Sakamoto Station) to overlook Lake Biwa; soak in the 1,200-year-old hot springs, etc., and use the tram to transfer conveniently. If you want to see one of the three most scenic views in Japan: Amanohashidate, you can also take the JR New Rapid Line at Otsu Station and transfer to Amanohashidate Tram Station. Although this hotel is close to the tram station, it has good sound insulation and there are few trams after 10 p.m., which hardly affects sleep. We stayed here for 5 nights, visited Gion in Kyoto for one day, Lake Biwa for two days, and Mount Hiei and hot springs for one day, but it still felt like not enough time.

This hotel is just next to Maibara. It is very convenient to go other parts of Lake Biwa. Its bed and pillows are comfortable. Just like other japan hotels, small challenges to open two 24” luggages. Breakfast is simple and nice. There are several types of rice balls to choose (love the fried chicken, egg, fried meat), miso soup, corn soup, healthy fruit juice, bread and coffee.

GGuest UserThe hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Hikone Station, which is very convenient. The hotel is opposite Hikone Castle, and you can see Hikone Castle while taking a hot spring bath, especially the night view is better. The breakfast is very rich, with many varieties and good service.

AArt of MomentsThis isn’t our first stay at a Vessel Inn, and it likely won’t be the last. They’ve become a safe, reliable choice for us whenever we travel around Japan. The room at Vessel Inn Shiga Moriyama was exactly what we expected—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the standard amenities and toiletries we’ve come to appreciate. We didn’t get a chance to use the hotel facilities this time, so can’t comment on those. Our main concern is always the cleanliness of the bed and overall comfort, and we’re glad to say it passed with flying colors. No funky surprises, just a peaceful night’s rest. One thing that stood out: the room size felt more spacious than what we’re used to in places like Osaka. Definitely a plus when you’ve got luggage or just want to breathe a little easier. All in all, a solid stay that gave us what we needed—nothing fancy, but exactly right.

とんI stayed with a friend for a promise to eat and drink in front of the station. I think the cospa was very good just for the hot springs and breakfast. The parking lot is large and free, there are plenty of rental items, you can bring as much milky lotion as you need, the vending machine in the building was cheap, there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away, and you can buy what you need cheaper than a convenience store. Anyway, it was good. I forgot, so I wish I had cleaning, and I thought it would be helpful when I was on a business trip if I had a hair iron loan.

GGuest UserWe stayed here during the winter ski season. The lobby and restaurant were nice, but the twin room we stayed in felt a bit old-fashioned. The view of Lake Biwa from the room was amazing. Dinner was a bit pricey for what it was. The taste was average. The rice cooked in a pot and raw meat* for breakfast were delicious, but the children's breakfast menu was a huge pile of hamburger steak, fried chicken, bacon, and potatoes, so we didn't feel like eating in the morning. There were several shuttle buses to Hakodateyama Ski Resort in the morning, which seemed convenient. We went to Makino Kogen Ski Resort, which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. I thought it was convenient because it was close to both ski resorts.

CChengHan GongThe hotel's environment and rooms are very beautiful, and you can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. Although there is no convenience store near the hotel, there are different drink options in the hotel. Although the hotel staff do not know much English, their service attitude is very friendly. It is a holiday Great place to relax

GGuest UserBooked this stay to explore the areas around Lake Biwa. Reception was warm and friendly with an English-speaking host who provided us with the information for the stay. We booked the western style room as we preferred an attached bathroom, however the room condition was outdated and needs refurbishment, like peeling surfaces. The Japanese style room looked better when we caught a glimpse during check-out time. Nevertheless, location and amenities were great. Location is near major eateries and commercial centres by a short drive.

GGuest UserI doubted there was a hot spring until I stayed there. It was the best hot spring at the end of my trip around Lake Biwa. I thought the bedding was dirty because it was old. I was very satisfied with the hot spring and the food.^_^
