Enjoyed my stay, the complimentary tea was nice but basic. Coffee was okay. View was nice. Bathroom was clean. It had a iron in the room that was nice as most don't. T. V had Netflix and prime also YouTube. Out of all the hotels I have stayed I would rate it 6/10 because it's convenient and when you leave your 2 minutes away from thr train station. Wasn't pleased as it wasn't serving breakfast as renovating the restaurant.
Great hotel to stay in if you are traveling for work. Pool and jacuzzi is always a bonus. Great food in the Burgundy restaurant, but don't order Tiramusu (it's too creamy, no taste of coffee or alcohol - very bad)! Staff members are friendly, let us stay for an extra hour, which was nice.
Disappointingly dusty chair bedsheets add floor. As soon as I entered to the room I started coughing. I suggest somebody need to double check the cleaners after they cleaned every room. The picture shows th first room bedsheets full of hairs and dusts. When I complained the receptionist gave moved me to other room at least the bed is much cleaned but still as on the picture shows the floor was muddy and dusty. I am thankfull for the help of the receptionists despite the above issue I hope the will fix it for future.
A word of caution. My issue was resolved favourably but my advice is to check the reservation and ask the questions.
The ibis Birmingham Airport has 2 levels of accommodation at the same location.
I booked and paid for the Ibis through Trip. On arrival I was told the Trip had made my reservation in Ibis Budget. The concierge told me me there was nothing he could do. I would have to take it up with the booking agent, Trip.
I accepted the room ( I have stayed here before in ibis Budget, I knew what to expect. Perfectly adequate for an early morning departure.)
My disappointment was that I had booked and paid for the higher end accommodation on this occasion.
Needless to say, I contacted customer support services and after sometime and various explanations and photographs, my issue was understood. I chose to accept the compensation offered.
Curtains were undersized for the room so was woken up at around 05:00 by daylight light coming through did complain the night before and in the morning was informed that someone would come up to have a look but no body turned up
Hotel service, the environment is ok. The facilities are not satisfactory. The first room wash basin was not smooth, because it was late, no one repaired it, and changed it. However, the flushing of the toilet was a little problem, the water kept flowing, I didn't want to bother, and repaired it myself. The environment is ok, very quiet, unfamiliar with the geography of Coventry. It feels like it is in the village, about six kilometers from the railway station. Fortunately, it is very convenient to play Uber. There is nothing to go around, go out for more than a kilometer and have not found a restaurant to eat, return to the hotel, only to find inside the hotel, taste good, beer is great! The price is about the same as the London restaurant.
I had a lovely weekend , kind staff and very helpful especial the staff who was at reception on the 22rd of feb 2025 was so helpful thank you again. The breakfast was nice, enjoyed my stay.
The hotel arranged for me a room with barrier-free facilities, which was not very hygienic and made us uncomfortable. There is no air-conditioning in the room, only a fan. The UK is a bit unbearable when it encounters a severe summer.
My Chinese friend stayed here with her 6 year kid, as she wasn't happy with the location and hotel in Snow Hill. So I moved her here closer to my location.
She liked the room, TV and the reception was helpful. The park is near to the hotel, so is the library. Very handy for families. The kid liked the pizzas in Greggs and there's a Chinese restaurant close that they ate in, which isn't too expensive.
Overall she was happy she stayed here for about 8 days. She thinks she'd stay in this hotel again, if she were to visit England again.
Well located in the centre of Coventry, the room was reasonably spacious with ensuite facilities.
Reception staff were quick to deal with me upon arrival.
Make sure you take photo ID as this is required for check-in.
My only gripe was that the curtain in my room didn't cover the entire window, so light was streaming in from very early in the morning.
Dinner and breakfast are available at an extra cost, but I can't comment on the quality because I dined elsewhere.

GGuest User5th floor but no great view as it's so built up that side of hotel. Air conditioning loud and squeaky. However, room large for a twin, bathroom good size, great shower, clean linen and room, comfortable beds, good lighting and good breakfast options. Bargain!
GGuest UserChic design with amazing staff, coffee machine downstairs for 1.50/2quid a cup. Nice showers and bathrooms. Great access to JQ and stations for train and metro. Chill area up from the church with plenty of choice restaurants. Recommend ottos for pizza which is just across the road, closes 9/10.
CChun Yuk OliviaThe location is near the train station, very convenient, the room is very clean, unexpectedly good, recommended; in addition, there are many shopping malls and restaurants near the location, which is really convenient and the price is reasonable

GGuest UserLovely staff, young and rushed off their feet, stayed for one night, stayed before 2018. Confused I paid for the privilege to stay in the hotel to attend the horse racing and watch Madness. Yet was confused that the hotel let anyone in to use the bar, from the race course when there was ample bars in the race ground for anyone not staying at the hotel. After Madness finished the only bar open is the hotel bar, because show is finished 10.00 home time and they want you out if you’re not staying at the hotel, which is fine, but if you are staying in the hotel as many of us were , bar was full, rammed so of course people wanted to sit outside because there are tables for the hotel outside but security had been told not to let anyone outside with drinks, how stupid is this, I understand you want to close the race course, so you need to restrict people from using the hotel if they aren’t staying there, and don’t be greedy and take peoples money knowing your going to be 60 people plus in a reception bar area, tiny thing like covdi happen few years back you should only serve hotel guest because that’s what you are, a hotel. And help the poor bar staff, young girl on her own, blokes walking out with 3/4 pints not paying and she’s on her own can’t chase them. Ps didn’t stay for breakfast too expensive, I was going to but even though it had increased in price quite a bit, but remembered it was cold last time we stayed.

AAnonymous UserIt was a little hard to access the property as it's a back entrance I had to google the company as the number on the app doesn't go through when trying to call them however once I did manage to get through they were very helpful .
My family and I enjoyed staying at the property , it was our first time staying at a place like this we normally just use hotels , we did notice some pots and baking pans had been put back dirty in the cupboard but otherwise it was clean and had all the things needed there we were please that the pictures match what the property looked like , we had one time where we were locked out of the property as the code wasn't working and no one was answering the phone but after I sent an email the issue was resolved .
There were four supermarkets nearby closest to the Morrisons , Aldi , Lidl and farm foods , 25 mins walk to Cadbury world which the kids loved going to there were lots of parks nearby one is only a 5 mins walk away , bus stops nearby if you needed to travel by bus which we did utilise and overall we enjoyed our stay there we would stay again in the future .
Note. If you have kids there are stairs in the property so keep that in mind we just closed the door near to the stairs .
GGuest UserBasic but very clean and comfortable. We requested a quiet room and were given a room at the end of the building. Location is obviously not quiet but very convenient for anybody wanting just an easy stopover point on a long journey.
GGuest UserI arrived past the check-in time, and reception was not around to receive me. Nonetheless, there was a number on the door to call, and I was talked through the process of getting in with the code, and to collect my keys. The gentleman was incredibly patient with me, which was appreciated as it was late, and I was exhausted from a long work day and it was my first time in Birmingham so I got lost finding my way from the train station to the accommodation.
The apartment was incredibly spacious. The living room and kitchen made me feel right at home, and the kitchen was well equipped. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms - I was a single traveller so I didn't need to use all that space at all.
The bed I slept in was marvellously comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, the water pressure was strong, and I really have zero complains about it.
Location wise, there is a mall next door, although by the time I arrived it was closed, and when I left for my work meeting at 7am the next morning it wasn't opened yet. There were also some restaurants by the waterfront around the corner.
I think this is a great accommodation for families or friends travelling together.

AAnonymous UserBecause Coventry is small as a whole, transportation and attractions are relatively convenient, but the overall environment of the hotel is average, there are no slippers and toiletries in the room, the network quality is not good, the wifi is slow, and there is no signal when it is replaced by traffic, so the video cannot be swiped. . If it is used as a temporary option for one night, the price/performance ratio is not very high. Because it was selected by the reviews of the three premiers, I don't know if the others are the same.
