Inside the Stirling university which is a nice and quiet environment, but it requires travelling to the city centre. There is no restaurant which opens for dinner except that in the hotel. The original room on ground floor given to us has a strong odour smell, which did not disappear after cleaning by housekeeping team. The reception initially refused to change the room. Only after we insisted then we were given another room on the first floor, but it wasted us almost 1.5 hour in waiting. Otherwise, everything is very good including the excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Stirling by foot, can't beat it! It's a basic hotel but has all you really need, with no frills. Staff were fast and helpful, parking on site. Bathroom could have been cleaner, shower pressure isn't great. But rooms were quiet, bed comfortable.

GGuest UserThe room is really beautifully designed. I like it very much. Due to the impact of bad weather, we can't go out. The restaurant downstairs can't open the door. The hotel staff and hotel management staff are very responsible and keep sending food to us. － I asked us what we needed help. I was very touched. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to buy us fried rice and fried noodles! The key is not to charge us a penny! Thanks again! Because my daughter came here to study at university, I would definitely stay here if I had the opportunity to come back!
