This hotel is super convenient! It's just a 400-meter walk to Chunxi Road, the famous 'influencer street.' Getting around by subway, bus, or Didi is a breeze. The staff are incredibly friendly, and our room was cleaned perfectly every day. The air conditioning in the hotel is fantastic – as someone from the North, I can't stand not having heating in winter, so the heating here was absolutely perfect. They also have adorable panda plushies; I bought two, and they were a good value for the money.

This hotel is really good location very near to the main spot and I was arrived at the time before checkin time the front staff try her best to get the room asap, really appreciated and the room was clean

Honestly, this is perfect if you want a budget hotel for long layover because they also provide picku& dropoff airport BUT you gotta be good at chinese coz their staff cant speak english. I have a hard time booking for airport pickup (the only way to book was to call them. no email, no texting) and I ended calling for a didi service to reach their hotel. Their hotel is soso but clean enough. Except the water drainage in the shower was clogged lol. They also provide breakfast with chinese menu

My experience at the hotel was very quiet, even with works happening nearby, I had no problems with noise and I was able to sleep peacefully, very quiet. Clean with a large and comfortable bed, hot shower water and with great pressure, besides the towels are big and soft. That's great! About the location, very close to the attractions and for those who like hiking, very accessible to go to the giant budha walking, it was quick and you could get to know a little more of the city. I would definitely come back, I loved the stay and recommend it

Overall --＞ Convenient location for restaurants and Wuhao Temple. The room is quite small but what you get is the authentic chinese room. Real wooden bed and furnitures like you are traveling back in time. My room was not the best because of the lowest price but with breakfast included it's a nice deal. The facilities are sufficient for me as a solo traveller. I mean they have washing machines and all but I didn't use it. The room equipped with air-con for heat and cold. The hotel staff recommend me to go to the restaurant called ”Jimaodian” which is across the street and I ate there for 3 days! The last night, unfortunately I smell cigarettes coming out from the fan in the bathroom. I asked to change the room from the 3rd floor to the second floor (which is a better room and more refined). The staff are quick to response to my needs but in the morning I woke up in the new room smelling cigarettes again. Luckily, I got to check out that morning. The breakfast is fast you must beat 9:30 AM otherwise they have nothing left.

The room overall was pretty good, and it's just dozens of meters from the subway exit. There are plenty of places to eat downstairs. **Pros**: Convenient for getting around, good room hygiene, excellent air conditioning that cools down quickly. The butler service was attentive and responsive. The elevators are fast. **Cons**: The hot water was poor; it turned lukewarm after just a short while of showering (even though I used the small shower head as instructed). I don't understand why the shampoo and shower gel were placed on the vanity – is it that hard to install a corner shelf in the shower area? The vanity is about 1.9 meters diagonally from the shower area. Taking a shower, especially with the poor hot water, in winter is unimaginable – you'd catch a cold! Don't let guests risk an accident trying to reach for toiletries while showering. I hope this can be improved. This is a genuine review, no malice intended.

The high-floor room offered a great ambiance and a fantastic view from the large bay window. The amenities were comprehensive, including an induction hob, a mini-fridge, and a washing machine, and the customer service was excellent! The subway entrance is just a short walk downstairs, making it convenient to get anywhere! Plus, I even got a free room upgrade!

We traveled as a group of three and chose the two-story bedroom. The location was very convenient — from Chengdu, we got off at Lidui Park Station, which is connected to the famous Bear Selfie spot. As soon as you exit the station, you’ll see the building shown in the photo, and the accommodation is on the 2nd floor of that building. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. The only small downside is that there is no elevator, so we had to walk up to the room. However, the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage, which we really appreciated. Upon check-out, we also received a small souvenir from the accommodation. If we have the chance to return, we would definitely stay here again. The surrounding area is very convenient as well, with restaurants, clothing shops, and convenience stores all nearby.

Facilities: Excellent, free parking is very convenient, and the toilet is fully automatic. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Comfortable, close to Yangtianwo Square and Nanqiao. There are a few supermarkets downstairs, so it's very convenient for shopping. Service: The front desk staff are very nice. 24-hour free flow of coffee, milk tea, and juice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sungold Designer Hotel in Chengdu. The hotel has a modern, stylish design, and the room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up. I appreciated the small details that made the stay feel more relaxing and well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made check-in and any requests very easy. One of the biggest highlights was the location — it’s conveniently situated near major shopping and dining areas, making it easy to get around and explore the city. Overall, Sungold Designer Hotel offers great value for a comfortable and well-designed stay.
