3-Star Hotels in Sichuan, China

Hotel locations is very good. We can walk to IFS building and Taikooli areas witin less than 10mins. You can enjoy shopping, eating there. The bus to Tianfu airport is in front of IFS so it is very convenient to walk with your luggage to the bus stop. Staff is very nice and supportive. I stay at the hotel for 3 nights as a base during going the national parks. You can keep the luggage at the hotel while you are going to Bipengou, Siguniangshan , etc. this time i got 6th floor which in the room there are no steps. There are about 3 steps (between bed areas and bathroom)in the room i got first 2 nights which i a bit worry at night.

Located right in the middle of 春熙路, it is close to everything in the busy shopping street. Staff is very helpful and friendly and very apologetic when we had to change our booking plans. Booking page indicates the room is equipped with Smart Room management system but it does not actually. When we enquire with the staff, we were told there never was any smart room facilities in their rooms. It is kinda false advertising and we felt so shortchanged by it that we decided to cancel our booking for the rest of the days and left the same night we arrived.

The hotel features a traditional Chinese design, and the ambiance is great. The breakfast spread was very generous, and the location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Chunxi Road. The housekeeping service was excellent; the housekeeper was very thoughtful and provided several bottles of bottled water. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended! I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu.

A familiar atmosphere instantly transported me back 21 years, to the very beginning of my career dreams. The 'Miss Dai' who was at the front desk and my contemporary back then has been replaced by younger, post-2000s faces. Yet, Wenjun Lou itself, with its genuine warmth and personal touch, remains unchanged. I'm grateful that in this restless era, places like Wenjun Lou and steadfast friendships help us remember our original intentions and stay true to our core beliefs. I promise, I'll be back to visit you often whenever I get the chance!

Hotel owner is very helpful. Room is clean and has every necessities you can use, lotions, washing machine with dryer, tea set, fridge and TV system is great as well. Location is very convenient, just below you have access to all the shopping areas and food.

It wasn’t bad but honestly I found trash in the room when I got there and it’s extremely hot so I recommend getting a room with AC if you’re coming in the summer or even the first 2 weeks of October. The hotels give toothbrushes and everything so that is nice. One weird thing is that I received these cards under my door? Probably pr0stitution but that was weird. Location is good, ultimately not a bad experience.

Every afternoon we enjoyed delicious tea and snacks, and honestly… we loved them so much that it became a highlight of our day. • Late Checkout Like a Dream ⏰💤 — They surprised us with a very nice late checkout, which meant more time to relax and enjoy our trip without rushing. The hospitality was warm, thoughtful, and absolutely beyond expectations. This wasn’t just a stay — it was pure panda-city magic. Highly recommend this hotel if you want comfort, great perks, and that extra touch of kindness that makes travel amazing! 🌏❤️

We stayed only one day in Litang (way too short) but had a fabulous time, and the people from the guesthouse were definitely part of this! This is a real ‘homestay’, with a large common space for people to gather (see the picture), super friendly service from everyone working here, beautifully decorated rooms with high quality sanitary and amenities, and an oxygen machine in every room (useful at an altitude of 4000 meters), … We wanted to go from from Litang to Shangrila and the owner helped us fetch a ride - highly appreciated! Recommended.

We only stayed one night so did not really get to take advantage of this place. If I had a week in Chengdu this would be a first choice. It was a small, well laid out two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and eating area. There is a lot of street food and restaurants nearby and it is very handy to the DongMenQiao subway station. We did have a little trouble locating it, but that was because I didn't check my messages. The young man who checked us in was clearly looking for us and came out when he saw us pass by. So I give the front desk a thumbs up (not so much the app on my phone). The larger bedroom had a lot of nice storage space. The small bed room was small, with little room around the bed. There was a little water damage on the wall, but everything was quite clean and well laid out.

LOCATION is super good. Within couple of minutes to Taikooli, which has lots of shops including a big supermarket and plenty of eateries. Also within walking distance to Chunxi and IFS. APARTMENT is big and spacious and good for at least 4 pax (mine was a 2-bedroom Japanese-style apartment). Very aesthetic and IG-worthy at every corner of the apartment. View from room was amazing. Although looks old from outside, it is actually nice and clean within. Comes with kitchenette with fridge etc, washer, 1 bathroom cum toilet and 1 separate bath outside (open concept). There's a big screen wigh projector to watch movies in the living room. There's even a fireplace with logs! Free bottled water every day and you can request for daily housekeeping at your preferred timings. OTHERS: There are 2 mini marts within the building, it's easy to get ******* delivery. Convenient to get Didi. A few cafes and quaint boutiques, roadside food stslls and street vendors just outside the apartment building. Communication woth the apartment staff via WeChat was seamless as their responses were always prompt. Overall, highly recommended!
