The room is fully smart, with a 'Xiao Du' (smart assistant) controlling all devices, and the giant projector screen makes watching movies incredibly comfortable. It's clean and odor-free. The front desk service is thoughtful, and the lobby offers free tea and ice cream all day, plus a heartwarming late-night snack. They also have a laundry room and robot delivery service for meals. Absolutely excellent value for money!"

"My stay at Shangri-La Ningbo far exceeded my expectations, with everything from the location and ambiance to the facilities being top-notch. The hotel boasts an unbeatable location at the confluence of three rivers, close to major shopping districts and historical sites. This means easy access to attractions without extensive travel, offering a perfect blend of urban vibrancy and peaceful serenity. The overall decor is elegant and luxurious, combining a touch of modern luxury with local charm. Both the public areas and guest rooms show meticulous attention to detail, truly embodying a five-star experience. I opted for a river-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of the three rivers and their banks. Waking up to the morning mist over the river and enjoying the neon reflections at night, every moment was a picturesque scene. The bedding in the room was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were warm and attentive, demonstrating thoughtful service throughout my stay, making it incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It truly lives up to its reputation as a landmark luxury hotel in Ningbo."

"The service was warm and attentive, and our dedicated butler, Kit, responded promptly. The breakfast was plentiful, the pool was clean, and there's a gym. The surrounding area is quiet and tidy, and it's conveniently located near a metro station. The room facilities are complete; though a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional. Overall, a good experience."

Atour Hotel (Ningbo Airport Yinzhou Avenue)

"I enjoy staying at Atour hotels, and I'm even a member. The main reason is that I find their beds and pillows incredibly comfortable. This particular Atour was decent overall, but the soundproofing was a bit lacking. Given its proximity to the airport, they might want to consider installing double-pane windows. The plane noise wasn't the biggest issue though; it was mainly the poor sound insulation between rooms. I hope they can improve that."

Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Ningbo

"The hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of dining options nearby. It's essentially in the heart of Ningbo, and there's a Fuyue City shopping complex about a 5-minute walk away, which is super convenient. Since I booked an executive room, I had access to the free executive lounge. They offer afternoon tea daily at 1:30 PM and happy hour at 5:30 PM. Xiao Zhu from the executive lounge was excellent – her service was impeccable, and she paid special attention to children. Around 6:30 PM daily, they offer a turndown service, and around 9 PM, they provide milk or tremella soup. My only minor gripe is that the breakfast selection is a bit limited. They stop serving at 10 AM, and after 9:30 AM, they generally don't restock the fruit. When I asked a staff member, I was told they were out, which wasn't the best experience."
