One of the most pleasant stays in my life! The hotel is clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The surroundings are nice and quiet, and the hot springs are just amazing. The receptionist couldn’t speak English very well when we checked in (which wasn’t too much of a problem anyway), but when we came back to our room later, we found some snacks and an absolutely adorable note with some helpful information from the staff. Thank you for the great weekend! Will definitely come again.

The B&B is very good overall. The book bar, coffee bar and Chinese courtyard on the first floor are great. There is a public parking lot downstairs. Hanling Old Street is right outside. Dongqian Lake and Hanling Art Museum are across the street. The location is also excellent. There are many snacks and restaurants around. The only drawback is that the slide in the parent-child room is not designed properly. The angle is too steep and cannot be used. There is no fence in the parent-child room. But there are toys, toiletries and slippers for children, which can be improved.

The original ecological village scenery is really beautiful. The restaurant of the B&B is about a 5-minute walk from the room. Breakfast is a set meal for one person, which is enough for adults to eat. But the service needs to be improved. I waited for half an hour with my empty tray before I got my squeezed noodles. The naughty kids at the next table were noisy and closed the door loudly without any dissuasion. Dinner was also solved in the restaurant. The chicken soup and ** fish head were well received! My husband said that he was still not satisfied. He could cook noodles for breakfast the next day with the soup that he couldn't finish. This is also a good point! There are two points to be improved. One is that the door and window gaps in the room are not sealed enough. Even if the air conditioner and floor heating are turned on, you can still feel the cold air near the doors and windows. One is that the water in the private soup is not hot enough. When I was storing water, I put all hot water, but when I was soaking, I could only say it was warm water. The boss said that the faucet should not be turned off and the water should be changed all the time. I also tried it. The main reason was that the hot water was not hot enough. I will come again next time if I am ready to go hiking.

Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time.
It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B.
The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night.
After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea.
Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village.

The family (2 adults, 2 children, 7 and 3 years old) chose a Deluxe room with an impressive view of the river (two beds). Breakfast is at a good level (surcharge 64 yuan for a child from 6-10 years old). The pool is open until 23:00 (there is a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi), the games child room is open also until 23:00.

At night, the mountain spring water is soaked, the whole person is very relaxed, comfortable, I really want to stay two more nights, but unfortunately I have to move bricks, come back next time.

When the weather gets cold and the temperature drops, it is a good time to go to the hot springs. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Shanghai to Ninghai. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is an open-air parking space opposite the hotel lobby. It is recommended to put the luggage in the lobby before parking.
The hotel manager BEN called one day in advance to confirm the arrival time and needs, and sent the hotel's activity table, map, and dining menu for the month, and also reminded the matters that need attention. During the stay, arrange a better room, respond to needs quickly throughout the whole process, and take the initiative to ask about the stay experience, which makes people feel very warm and happy~
The room is very, very large and clean, with a 270-degree terrace, fresh air, broad vision, and being between heaven and earth, the mood becomes very good. The bath products are from Guerlain, which are quite useful. There is a sign saying that the water in the bathtub is also hot spring water. Mini bar drinks are free, and you can get Coke, Sprite, beer, sparkling water, and orange juice. There are many windows in the room, and you can see the mountain view outside no matter where you go. It is so beautiful.
You can call for a shuttle bus when you go out of the hotel. If the sun is good, it is recommended that you walk around and climb the mountain by yourself. The air is very good. The hot spring hotel is 188 yuan per person. You need to make an appointment in advance. Basically, it changes every hour. The temperature of the hot spring is about 39 degrees, which is not very hot. I saw some children soaking in it and refused to leave. There are showers and bathing supplies in the hot spring hotel. There is no facial cleanser to remove makeup, so you need to bring your own. You need to wear a swimsuit to soak, so you need to prepare a swimsuit in advance.
The hotel breakfast is very rich, with many kinds, including Chinese and Western styles, cakes, donuts, and bread. There are also salads, drinks, and health teas. There are also cold dishes, hot dishes, porridge, and self-ordered wonton noodles and rice cakes. It feels like one stomach can't hold it all. They are all very delicious, and if the dishes are empty, the chef will replenish them immediately.
We didn't go out for two days in the hotel, and we also had dinner in the hotel's Chinese restaurant. It's best to make an appointment in advance. The hotel can prepare it in advance. The dishes tasted very good, and there were no disappointments. The ingredients were all seafood, which are local specialties of Ningbo. It was a bit like a farmhouse, and the cooking and presentation were more delicate. I liked it. The chef would also ask the guests outside if they were satisfied with the dishes.
I was a little surprised at the level of communication within the hotel. All places were connected very beautifully. For example, from the hotel lobby to the room, the bus was changed to a shuttle bus. Because there was a section on the public road, there was no need to wait. There was a shuttle bus to pick up immediately. For example, the shuttle bus master could help return the missing items and help contact the front desk to make up the room card. Thanks to Master Zhang Jiandong for sending us to the parking lot. We had a lot of luggage. He parked the car closest to our car and helped us put our luggage. I feel that everyone in the hotel puts customer experience first. I am very touched and relieved T.T.
It has been many days since I left the hotel. I always think of the warmth of the sun on the terrace. When I close my eyes, I hear the whisper of the wind. When I open my eyes, I see the green mountains and the bamboo forest rustling in the wind. It is tough and agile.

excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended.
the pools and spa pools are great
the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful.
a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful.
to improve:
the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink
the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.
the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient.
very mixed review I'm afraid.

When we were soaking in the hot springs, there was a special person to pick us up. Fortunately, there was a driver, otherwise we would get wet. We stayed in a mountain view room, and the beautiful scenery was in full view when we entered the room. The surrounding scenery was also very pleasant, suitable for vacation and leisure. I think we will come again in the summer to play in the water, climb mountains, see the beautiful scenery and soak in the hot springs.

GGuest UserThe room was upgraded. The room environment is good and clean. The service attitude is very good, especially the greeter at the door of the breakfast room. He smiles and greets me very kindly. The food was quite satisfactory to my taste, and the evening was very quiet. There was a sound of banging things coming from somewhere around 7 o'clock in the morning, but it ended soon. The surrounding dining area is very convenient, with many choices. The grilled fish I had in the shopping mall next to it in the evening was so delicious, haha. Overall very satisfied, a cost-effective hotel.
