Mountain View Hotels in Hangzhou

The hotel is located directly next to exit D2 of Fengqi station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. On the first night, I had an issue with the shower hose and didn't sleep well due to a hard mattress and old pillows. I communicated with a translation app and a staff member was quick to solve this situation the following day by upgrading me to a more comfortable room and really thankful for their effort and quick response. Breakfast is on the 12th floor starting from 6:30 am and everything is freshly made with lots of choices. Longxiangqiao station area is a very vibrant and colourful spot which is worth a visit at night. From Ding'an road station, you can walk about 15 mins for a free visit at the Song Dynasty historical building. The west lake ticket show ”Enduring memories of Hangzhou” should also be on your bucket list. Overall, a memorable stay in Hangzhou and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It was a very comfortable stay. The family room we booked had one queen and one super single bed which fit us very well. The amenities provided by the hotel was great too. Water, kettle, coffee, tea etc was well replenished. Location was also perfect, not too far from the Xihu and shopping malls stretch IN77. Many eateries, convenience shops just below and one famous Japanese bakery that opens till 2am. Hotel staff were helpful and the tour agent there was great. We just did an ad hoc day trip and the driver was accommodating, knowledgeable and patient. All good. Highly recommended.

Excellent location close to the lake and walking (shop&eat) streets. I got a free upgrade to a super big room with windows. Even though it’s far from the elevator and need to walk down the stairs. The staff was helpful. Luggage storage is available and restaurants just around the corner. The room was big and has so many amenities that I didn’t know I needed. It’s on the older side but everything works.

Reception staff were very courteous and warm in their service, constantly asking about how we were and ensure our needs are met. Free laundry service was a pleasant surprise and the large umbrellas for hotel guests were definitely useful during our stay due to the rainy weather. Rooms are very clean with superb amenities - automated toilet, Dyson hair dryer, bath robes and even a weighing machine! Overall, a very nice start to our family trip in Hangzhou XiHu, bringing warmth to us in the rainy weather during our 3 nights stay.

The hotel is located in a great location. Loved the convenient location, close to West Lake and shopping street. Rooms were dated, but cleanliness and toiletries were good . Hairdryer was not strong and it took me a long time to dry my long hair. Front desk staff, Max Deng is warm & thougttful. He helped us to arrange courier to send our luggage to Suzhou. I really appreciate how he wemt above and beyond to call our hotell in Suzhou to lookout for the delivery. He even updated me on the status of the delivery. Thank you for being so helpful & attentive. Your dedication is impressive.

Arrived late after long flight from London via Beijing at hotel @10:00 pm, waited over 20 minutes to check-in. Bathroom sliding door was jammed and required great force to move it. Reported problem to hotel, the door was still difficult to operate after their fix. The location of hotel was great to access West Lake like Su Causeway and nearby attractions but will need taxis to travel to other attractions. We were amazed to find out on our last day of 4 nights stay , hand towels were left on floor of bathroom & tea leaves in toilet bowl. Note that Travel time is significantly longer due to congested traffic around the areas. Checkout was slow and Receptionist Supervisor was not very friendly.

The purpose of this trip is very clear. Come to the West Lake to relax. Choose one of the three state guesthouses by the West Lake. You can solve breakfast and dinner. Which one has the best value for money? Choose it. Originally, I wanted to book the one in Liuying. Compared with the other two, it is more cost-effective. Then Xiyou launched the 999 package, which must be a higher package. Well, the hotel will call the day before check-in to ask when to check in and what are the requirements. If you drive by yourself, they will help you to report the vehicle because the scenic area is restricted. Then I need a quieter room, so I arranged it on the third floor of Building 6, which is said to be the highest floor. When I arrived at Building 6, a welcoming girl led me to the room, and the service was pretty good. Then you can also order fruit in the room, which is free. I was worried that the state guesthouse would be a bit old, but it was actually quite good. It should have been renovated and had everything it should have. The room looks out to the garden, which is not bad. The hotel buffet for dinner, the package is only for one person, and it costs 168 yuan to buy another one. There are not many types of buffets, but the taste is okay. The West Lake scenic area is too congested, and it is really troublesome to go out for dinner. I ordered a takeaway in the afternoon, but there was no rider to take the order. I almost starved to death. I was very happy to be able to solve dinner in the hotel. After dinner, I went for a walk by the West Lake. The hotel is located near the Broken Bridge and the Residual Snow, and I walked down the Baidi Bridge. The hotel breakfast tasted OK. Then the hotel gave me a travel photo. The girl took good photos. The level was the best among the several travel photos I took. In the end, I bought a total of 18 photos. In addition, there is a May Fourth Constitution History Exhibition Hall in the hotel. I visited it by the way. It was very meaningful. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay

Came with family of 3, Stay was great, room was nice and comfortable. Service was also great, hotel staff were prompt in assisting us whenever needed. Will book again, if we return to hangzhou!

Great room with views over the city from the 20th floor. The decor is nice, and the room looks better in person than it did in the pictures online. We had a very quiet room even though it is in the middle of the city, and we didn’t hear anything from other rooms. The service is excellent. I had an issue where I accidentally cancelled my stay at this hotel on trip instead of another hotel, and the reception staff were so helpful and friendly while fixing my mistake. I don’t speak Chinese, so they were very patient with me and communicated well using translation apps. The language barrier was not a problem. The buffet breakfast in the dining room was good. There is only a small selection as it is not a big hotel, but we were happy with the options. There is a Luckin Coffee on the ground floor of the building too if you need a caffeine fix.

So I specifically looked for a hotel here. The location is very good, quiet in the bustling city, and you can walk to attractions such as Turtle Pond and Yu Qian Temple in a few minutes. Go down the mountain and walk south for more than 20 minutes to the South Line of West Lake and Taiziwan Park, or you can scan a shared bicycle and get there in 10 minutes. 【Facilities】Before booking, I was worried that the hotel was old, but it was actually not bad, with the atmosphere of an old-fashioned state-owned hotel! I booked a special price twin bed, the room was not small, the facilities were complete, there was a desk for children to do homework, there was a bathtub and insect repellent, and the hygiene looked ok. The scallion oil noodles, small wontons and pan-fried buns for breakfast tasted good. There is also a small children's playground in the hotel, which the children like. [Service] The service attitudes of the front desk, breakfast restaurant, and cleaning staff were all good, especially Ms. Wang Shiqin, the housekeeper of our building. When we checked in, it was almost dinner time, so we asked her to recommend dinner in the surrounding area, and she introduced several restaurants and styles in various directions. In the end, we ate at Yijiang Chunshui, which was very close to the hotel and recommended by her. It also felt like an old state-owned restaurant and tasted pretty good. After checking out, we took a taxi at the front desk. Didi could not be used in the West Lake Scenic Area. The guy at the door heard about it and contacted us to go to the local Hello Travel, where we could take a taxi. [Suggestions] There are two areas for improvement, that is, there is no conditioner in the bathroom, and the previous All Seasons did not have it either. I don’t know why, but fortunately I brought it myself. In addition, the curtains are not very good at blocking light. I felt that there was light in the east-facing room before I got up in the morning. ps. I originally booked Santai Villa, but later I found that a similar price here included two breakfasts before I checked in, so I changed it. The two hotels are right next to each other. Anyway, I am quite satisfied with Zhejiang Hotel. It is cost-effective. I only stayed for one night this time. I haven't visited the west line of West Lake enough. I will come again if I have a chance! It's just that this place is in the scenic area, and it's not very convenient to take a taxi. We simply walked from the east side of West Lake. After checking out, we walked to Huanglong Cave to change to another hotel. Anyway, there are scenery all the way~ pps. Ctrip booking allows 2 o'clock check-out, which is good!
