Hangzhou Hotels with Bars

This hotel has a manor-style resort vibe and is wonderfully quiet, which I really appreciated. Its location is quite central, making it easy and quick to get to nearby attractions by taxi. There was a minor hiccup with the room upon check-in, but the staff were very responsive and resolved it quickly. Even during a public holiday, the service quality didn't drop, and there was no queue for breakfast. It's a shame it rained every day during the Dragon Boat Festival's plum rain season; I hope for sunny weather next time!

Excellent value for money! I chose a single room, and the space and functionality were perfectly adequate. The restrooms are separate for men and women and are very clean! The common areas are spacious, and there's even a snooker table. Plus, there's an outdoor balcony area – it's great to sit outside with a few friends and chat when the weather is nice. The location is also fantastic; you can walk to the subway and West Lake, and in the evening, you can feast at the Wulin Night Market! If I come alone again, I'll definitely choose this place.

Sunset at Xianshan Peninsula: It feels like an island with a single hotel. First day minibar experience: Plenty of Nongfu Spring water! First day welcome fruit: Peaches were hard. Haha. Service: The hotel has a shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station, which is great. It's about 50 meters straight out from the exit. The schedule is fixed, so you need to plan ahead. It's still more suitable for self-driving. Surroundings: It's very convenient to get to Pixiu Town. There are hot air balloons, go-karts, and water activities. There's also a beer museum to visit with many activities inside, the VR is quite good. However, it's inconvenient to go to other places. Suitable for a vacation if you don't want a crowded experience. Facilities: Both indoor and outdoor swimming pools are available. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Special Feature: There's an instant noodle bar from 9 PM to 11:30 PM. It gets so crowded it makes you question your life choices.

The front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, just 50 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The front desk even helped upgrade my room, which made my stay very pleasant. Thumbs up!

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment is light, spacious and airy. The bed is huge and really comfortable and the shower and bathroom are also lovely. Having a kitchen with utensils, hob and microwave meant we could cook in the evenings which is a huge plus. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and tasty with some western options, fresh noodles and omelettes, fresh fruits and salads, bread, cheese, pastries and amazing coffee and fresh juices. We used the pool several times (remember your swim caps!) and it was large and really nice for a swim. The location is great. It's close to the West Lake area. We walked there and back which was about 45mins each way, but it's also very easy to jump in a Didi to venture further around to see the Tiger Springs or Nine Creeks and Misty Forest areas which are really beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early and they checked us in straight away and very promptly answered all my questions. We asked for a late check-out and we were generously accommodated which was an added bonus. Oh - and the lobby and hotel smell amazing too! We will 100% stay here again when we return to Hanghzhou and would highly recommend it to other travellers if you'd like some luxury alongside home comforts.

When I requested a quiet room, they specially selected a high-floor room facing the residential area. They also confirmed the housekeeping schedule for the following days. The arrangements were meticulous, and they genuinely cared about my stay experience. Throughout, their demeanor was warm and professional, without any forced pleasantries. The entire stay was comfortable and pleasant. The staff demonstrated a sincere willingness to consider guests' needs, arranging suitable rooms from the guest's perspective. This attentiveness left a deep impression. The kindness shown in their daily interactions was a delightful surprise during my journey. When traveling, beyond just a place to rest, well-judged thoughtful service can significantly enhance the overall happiness of the trip. The various facilities in the room were well-maintained. The lighting was soft and could be adjusted to personal preference, making it very convenient to use at night. The shower had stable water pressure, and the water temperature adjusted smoothly. Both the handheld and overhead showerheads provided strong water flow and a comfortable temperature, making them easy to use. The storage space was more than sufficient for my personal needs; the well-designed space gave me an incredible sense of security, allowing me to neatly organize my luggage and personal belongings. The amenities in the common areas were also well-maintained and in excellent condition. The hardware was very well-preserved, with no signs of age or malfunction. When traveling, a complete and functional set of facilities can make the entire stay relaxing and comfortable.

First off, the bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable – out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one's my favorite. The bathroom amenities were also top-notch, and they smelled great. Secondly, the service was truly excellent. After checking in, I added Mia, my butler, on WeChat. She was online the entire time and even thoughtfully provided fruit and a souvenir. I genuinely recommend this place to everyone.

The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept soundly. The environment was quiet and pleasant, and the location was very convenient. I wanted to take my kids on a summer vacation but didn't want anything too strenuous, so I chose this Club Med. I heard it's an all-inclusive resort perfect for younger children, though maybe not so much for those over 10. I booked a two-night hotel pre-sale package through Ctrip (including breakfast and tickets to either Xixi Wetland or Lingshan Fantasy), with a 400 RMB surcharge for weekend bookings. The hotel called the day before to confirm and said they'd add my WeChat for future communication, but they never did. They also didn't mention adding a butler service during check-in, which is something other hotels do better. The hotel looks quite new and spacious, with most activities located on the basement level. For a hotel with a higher price point that prides itself on all-inclusive services, I was surprised to find that many entertainment options and parent-child activities required additional fees, and they weren't cheap either. This was a bit disappointing. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there's a mini-show, and on Sunday evening, there's a Chashan Qing performance. The shows make the evenings pass quickly. During the day, we mainly rested in the room and occasionally visited the mini water park, where the kids had fun in the water. The indoor children's playground is quite small and suitable for very young children; older kids won't find it very engaging. On the first day, we didn't want to go out for dinner, so we chose the hotel's Chinese restaurant for lunch. The dishes were mediocre, the portions were small, and the prices were not cheap. For dinner, we opted for the hotel buffet. The weekend prices were higher than weekdays, costing 328 RMB per adult and 218 RMB per child over 4 years old. The prices were a bit high. For the buffet, children are charged by age, not height. What can a child under 120cm really eat? The variety of dishes was also quite limited. For example, there was only one spicy flavor of crayfish, and the other dishes were just so-so. The mark-up felt excessive. For adults and children who don't eat sashimi and such, the value for money was very low. Since my child can't eat raw food, they pretty much only had some vermicelli soup at the buffet. The evening amusement park games were also very perfunctory; I didn't feel like playing at all. When I finally found a craft activity and sat down to try it, a staff member immediately came over with a POS machine, ready to charge me. 😂

I chose the Grand Hyatt for my internship in Hangzhou, and overall, it was a good experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the lake view was beautiful. I recommend prioritizing rooms on the 8th floor, as they offer more space. The hotel is a bit older, so the facilities feel a little dated, and the air conditioning wasn't very strong – I hope they can optimize that in the future. Getting around by taxi can be a bit tricky due to traffic and one-way streets, so it's good to plan ahead. The service was very attentive, and the staff were all enthusiastic, especially our concierge Cecilia (Cao Kaixuan), who was patient, meticulous, and communicated promptly throughout our stay, making us feel very well cared for. The breakfast quality was also good, and the juice was delicious. We even received a cute squirrel doll as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I recommend it.
