Had a great stay here, staff is incredible and you can ask them anything anytime on wechat and get a reply immediately. Room is very clean and they are not stingy with towels or amenities. Usually hotels have awful hairdryers, Mercure had a good one. It’s a small detail but appreciated. Will stay again in the future! 😁

The place is just amazing. When we first came to the room we didn’t want to go anywhere else. Wonderful view, delicious breakfast, stylish interior. If you have any questions manager will help you in English. There’re also lots of unexpected surprises like projector in your room or British beer at the reception.
Also manager of the hotel made her own Hangzhou guide(it’s online and free). There’re the most beautiful places in Hangzhou and surrounding.
Location of hotel is quite good. Especially if you’re fan of nature.
I’m really happy we’ve stayed in this hotel. Highly recommended.

Because of a lonely tree, I thought of the Yunqi Bamboo Path in spring. The Yunzhongjing Hotel located halfway up the mountain in the scenic area is really better than expected. The guys on the shuttle bus are very enthusiastic. The butler burger really left a deep impression. I added WeChat in advance and he answered all my questions, especially his sweet smile, which was super healing. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, desserts had been prepared in advance. The big trees in the forest of the scenic area are really beautiful. I met a few people on the way to climb the mountain early the next day. I really like to have such a place with few people and beautiful scenery during the May Day holiday.

A very distinctive hotel. The environment is quiet, the rooms are large, and the decoration is Chinese style, which is very grand. I booked 2 rooms of the same price, but the room layouts are completely different. I asked the housekeeper, and the housekeeper said that each room type of Zixuan is different. The housekeeper service is very thoughtful, especially when checking in, the room introduction is very detailed. Dinner was eaten at the hotel's Jiexianglou (one Michelin star, two black pearl diamonds), which was fine except that it was expensive. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, with Chinese, Japanese, Western and other set meals to choose from, which are thoughtful and rich. We are a family traveler, and Zixuan's environment, food and thoughtful service make the elders and children very satisfied, so it must be highly praised!

This time I stayed at the ”Xixi Sushang” Hotel, and the experience was simply amazing! As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the warm lights and elegant environment at night instantly attracted me, and I could feel the unique atmosphere here from the door.
Walking into the room, it was clean and tidy, and the layout was very warm. I can still watch TV series comfortably while lying on the bed, and there is drinking water prepared thoughtfully next to me. This detail is amazing.
The next morning, I opened the curtains and saw the quiet courtyard outside the window, with lively koi and cute cats strolling leisurely, and my mood instantly improved.
The hotel not only has a pleasant environment, but also thoughtful service. The time spent here is comfortable and relaxing. I will choose to stay here next time I come here. I strongly recommend it to everyone!

VVialaZI went on a weekend trip to Hangzhou with my friends. Every time I stayed at Manjuelong Jianxiang. The location of the B&B is very good. The room is quiet and the view outside the window is amazing! You can hike to various check-in spots on the way up the mountain. There are many small shops along the way down the mountain. You can go shopping and take a walk. In particular, you must eat Guiyu's Pianerchuan. It's really delicious!

AAbigailWe had a fabulous time on our latest trip to SENBO. The staff are very friendly and helpful and everywhere is very clean and tidy. The evening buffet is delicious and we enjoyed breakfast too. There are lots of activities for my daughter, such as climbing, go karting, trampolines, craft, swimming, arcade, animals, etc…The hotel rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. We are excited for our next visit!

JJennifer LeighThis hotel was perfectly fine and in a great location for visiting the tea terraces. I would NOT recommend staying here during a holiday, unless you are ONLY going to visit the tea areas. Transportation to and from the hotel into the city was a nightmare, with long waits on both ends for a car. So, non-holiday times, or visiting the tea locations, I would highly recommend this no-frills location. Breakfast was good; traditional Chinese. And there were other restaurants in the area. It's a cute place and I'm sure very peaceful most of the year. The staff does not speak much English but were very helpful to us foreigners.

Love the bidet, the friendly housekeeper, the rooftop deck, the bed is so comfortable, and they provide luggage storage too - so that you can leave your bags to explore the city before you leave for the airport - and the general vibe of the hotel! They seem to really love Marco polo which is so cute 🥰 The air conditioning is adjustable too, so you can have your room warm-ish or cold. Thank you so much for such a great stay!

Although the staff doesn't speak English, they are very helpful and try their best to communicate. The breakfast is delicious and diverse (48 yuan per person). There are many convenience stores, restaurants, and a bus stop nearby.
The highlight of the hotel is its beautiful interior design and high-quality amenities, comparable to a 5-star hotel but at an affordable price. However, the light control panel in the room can be a bit tricky to use.
Overall, my family and I are very satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

West lake was beautiful in the evening sun, despite the traffic control areas. Also the old hotel heating system gave us some discomfort as this very hot weekend left our room at 28c with only a weak fan. The National Tea Museum is a must-see, relaxing and well curated. Overall, very satisfied.

Situated just a few minutes' walk from the famous West Lake, it is incredibly convenient for those wanting to explore one of China’s most scenic attractions. The proximity to West Lake makes it easy to take early morning or evening walks along the picturesque waterfront, which I found very calming. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself.

4. Dining – A Great Variety of Options
The dining experience at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou was truly impressive. The hotel’s main restaurant offers a large breakfast buffet that caters to both Western and Chinese tastes. I enjoyed starting my day with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and Chinese dim sum. They also had made-to-order noodle and omelet stations, which was a great touch. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked.
In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements.
