"Staying at this hotel during our trip was incredibly convenient and stress-free! The room cleanliness was top-notch. The staff were all very kind and attentive, even proactively offering recommendations for things to do. What I loved most was the dining options. The 24-hour McDonald's on the first floor was super handy for quick bites, and the restaurant on the third floor served delicious food. Plus, there's a whole street right next to the hotel packed with local eateries and specialty restaurants, so you don't have to go far to find something to eat. Everything for food and drinks was right there, making it excellent value for money."

"Hangzhou is nice, full of trees and historical sites. The hotel was recommended by the trip planner. Nice cosy rooms. Spacious, and comfortable bed & pillows. There are some nice touches to the room, and the blue was quite pleasing. There is a shower & bathtub as well. Toiletries are provided. The buffet selection is quite good and quite tasty. We only stayed for 1 night. The staff did help with the bags when we arrived. Check in was seamless but they speak limited English though. Overall nice hotel and reasonably priced. Can’t comment on the location much as we used a driver. The hotel is located at the corner, about 10-15 mins from Qinghefang Street by car."

"This hotel was well furnished, staffed, cleaned. Located geographically near xihu and xixi wetlands, it however isnt very accessible by public transport (1.5km walk) or car (300m) slight uphill from possible dropoff. The staff were very helpful and kind helping to arrange additional services like the washing machine and even giving free gifts beyond those stated on trip.com. To note, this location also does not have an elevator and the top floors have low ceilings due to the slope of the roof. A pleasant experience from the staff's hard work but location and convenience arent the best."

"The hotel was nice enough and the room was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bath and decor were stunning. The view of the canal was there, albeit minimal. The staff were lovely and made sure we knew how to control the room, set up WiFi etc after we checked in. The location was excellent and in very close proximity to two metro stations. The rooms and corridors were very clean, however there was a strong lingering cigarette odour on both floors as someone was smoking in the family rooms. We could smell it in our room faintly, but the corridor was particularly pungent. We didn't have our kids this weekend or else it wouldn't have been acceptable. But in non smoking rooms, it should be addressed. It's not the hotel's fault someone smoked in their room, but it was something that stuck in my mind. The breakfast was dreadful to be honest. The options were very limited, cold and not the freshest dishes. It wasn't inedible by a long shot, but it wasn't good at all. Also, there was no fresh coffee only the sugary sachets and paper cups. Luckily, there's a Luckin coffee shop on the ground floor. Overall, it's not bad value for money, the room is great and the metros are close by. With a few improvements this could be an exceptional hotel! Thanks for a lovely stay in Hangzhou"

"This hotel is really great, I have to praise it, hahaha! 📍 **Location:** The hotel is right on [Southern Song Imperial Street Pedestrian Street]. It's just a few minutes' walk to [Hefang Street] and [Drum Tower] right outside the door. There's also a Lawson convenience store downstairs! **Taxi:** For taxis, set your destination to 'No. 57 Guangfu Road' for the hotel's back entrance. **Subway 🚇:** It's a 4-minute walk to Ding'an Road Station (Exit D/C) [Strong recommendation]! 🛏️ **Room:** My first impression upon entering the room was how clean it was! The desk and floor were very tidy, and the sheets and duvet cover felt soft and had no strange odors~ 😋 **Dining:** The breakfast selection was rich and the taste was on point. There were about 20 different items for the buffet breakfast, which is a great value. Both Chinese and Western options were available [Excited emoji]! 💁 **Service:** The staff's attitude was truly excellent. We arrived early before check-in time, and they proactively helped us store our luggage for free. The robot delivered items super fast, and they were never impatient. Every detail was thoughtful. Overall, the value for money is truly outstanding. If you're visiting Hangzhou, just choose this place. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time ✨. 🏨 **Facilities:** The -1 floor not only offers 24-hour washing machines, dryers, and garment steamers, but also provides a treadmill and even laundry detergent, which is incredibly convenient for travelers [Strong recommendation]! Amidst the bustling depths of Wulin and by the banks of the thousand - year - old Grand Canal, there stands an art hotel brimming with literary charm. Quietly and unassumingly, it exudes a unique sense of refinement and elegance. Drawing inspiration from the West Lake, it is named "Xilizhi", a name that bears the deep imprint of Hangzhou. An elegant and gentle atmosphere of the Jiangnan region comes rushing forth. Nestled in the very heart of prosperity, with the West Lake Cultural Square, Hangzhou Tower, and the thousand - year - old Grand Canal surrounding it, Xilizhi Art Hotel hides above the 19th floor of the city's neon lights, in the deepest part of the urban bustle, enjoying a peaceful haven. Located at the core of Jianguo Road and Zhaohui Road, and at the cultural heart of the Beijing - Hangzhou Grand Canal and the ancient Genshan Gate, "Xilizhi" overlooks the bustling lights of the city, leisurely enjoys the precipitation of historical vicissitudes, and allows one to feel the most authentic Hangzhou flavor.

"This hotel is tucked away in a city alley, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. Its name, inspired by West Lake, already wins half the battle with its charming Jiangnan (south of the Yangtze River) allure. 😍 🎨 The artistic vibe is truly off the charts—the lobby and hallways resemble a small art museum. With low-saturation colors, natural wood, and green plants, every corner is picture-perfect. The rooms feature a minimalist, light luxury design, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light. When the sun streams in during the day, you instantly feel relaxed. 🛏️ The room details are spot on: the bedding is skin-friendly, and the mattress has just the right firmness. Smart room controls, a smart toilet, and a hairdryer are lovely little touches. The wet and dry areas are perfectly separated and clean, and the toiletries smell delightful. 🧹 The hygiene is impeccable; every nook and cranny is spotless, making you feel secure the moment you step in. The elevator requires a key card for access, which adds to the sense of privacy. 💁 The service is attentive without being intrusive: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and processed my check-in quickly. They even proactively recommended delicious Hangzhou cuisine nearby and walking routes (a stroll along the Grand Canal is absolutely fantastic!). Luggage storage is also convenient, so I could continue exploring after check-out without any stress. 📍 The location is also quite convenient. It's close to West Lake whether you ride an e-bike or take a taxi. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and you can even wander through the night market in the evening."

"The room was super clean and incredibly comfortable. A robot delivered my takeout right to the door, not a delivery person! The overall vibe is fantastic – perfect for young people, just book it! They also have a DIY instant noodle station, a 'tipsy' zone, a gym, and a laundry room, among other things. I really love Maiga and appreciate the attentive manager and considerate staff. Next time I'm in Hangzhou, I'll definitely choose Maiga again!"

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Manjuelong Village, within the West Lake scenic area. It's surrounded by lush greenery, with many guesthouses around, making it a very peaceful spot. There's a bus stop right outside, which is super convenient for getting around. The service was excellent; they helped us plan our itinerary, saving us a lot of time and effort. I managed to sneak in a day of leisure during my business trip, and the itinerary recommended by the hotel was fantastic, leading to a full and perfect day. At 7 AM, I hiked up a small path that takes about 10 minutes to reach the tea mountains, offering stunning panoramic views of West Lake and the tea plantations. I came back around 8 AM for breakfast, and after a short rest, took the bus to the China National Tea Museum. It was only 6-7 stops away and a great opportunity to learn about the history and knowledge of tea. For lunch, I went to the flagship store of a popular green tea brand nearby; the decor and ambiance were superb, making for a wonderful experience. In the afternoon, I went to Yanggong Causeway to admire the West Lake scenery, then relaxed with a cup of Longjing tea at a lakeside teahouse. In the evening, I grabbed a shared bike and explored the In77 pedestrian street for some shopping and dining. Even though I only had one day to explore, I felt like I experienced everything I wanted to, without feeling rushed or tired. The hotel's recommended itinerary was truly excellent! On my second day, I had to leave early, and they thoughtfully prepared bread and yogurt for my breakfast. This is a wonderful guesthouse, highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hangzhou!

GGuest UserAs a loyal Atour fan for many years, whenever I travel or go on business trips to any city, Atour is usually my first choice. Their quality is consistently good, making for a worry-free and reliable stay every time. You can't go wrong with them. This Atour X has a clean and tidy environment, with simple and comfortable decor. The service throughout was attentive and spot-on, and the front desk staff were warm yet discreet. Overall, the experience was as dependable as always. I particularly want to praise the location: it's super convenient for dining, accommodation, and getting around. You can walk to Southern Song Imperial Street and Hefang Street in about 800 meters, so you can explore and eat to your heart's content without the hassle of a taxi. If you get tired from sightseeing, you can head back to the hotel anytime to rest – it's incredibly tourist-friendly. Just a friendly reminder: there are so many Atour branches near Hangzhou's West Lake, practically one every few steps. When taking a taxi or using navigation, make sure to double-check the exact location, or you might easily end up at the wrong hotel!

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

SShixuegaobushibinggunThis hotel is huge, and every corner of the property offers a beautiful view. You could easily spend a long time just enjoying the hotel itself. Since our stay wasn't on a weekend, there weren't many guests. The front desk lady was super thoughtful and gave us a small room upgrade. We also added the 'Mia' concierge on WeChat, so any questions we had during our stay could be directed to her, and she replied really promptly. Overall, it was a fantastic surprise and a great experience!

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm! I felt it the moment I arrived. The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease! On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered! Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area… The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long… So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember… The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

KKat12345This hotel is wonderful! It is very clean, quiet, staff is great and very helpful. However, I need to write a review that will help other foreigners that want to stay here. This hotel is in the middle of a village and very far away from the city!!!! If you want to go out, eat foreign food or have easy access to places, do not stay here! This place is only convenient if you want to see the attractions around the village, and you want a quiet and peaceful vacation far away from the city. It is almost impossible to get to the city center, just getting out of the village took us around 45 minutes each time. It is possible to walk, but note that it’s more than 4km to West Lake, so it’s not very convenient. There is also traffic control at certain times, so car hailing is not even possible. You would have to walk/take a bus/find a random taxi. There aren’t enough foreign friendly food options around, but Meituan works, it will take them more than an hour to deliver, but they will. I can’t imagine any foreigner that doesn’t already live in China managing to arrange all of those things on their own. Note that there are no pharmacies in the village, so you would have to order any medicine if needed. That being said, we embraced the quiet and tranquil vacation, even though it wasn’t planned that way (I booked this hotel because it was advertised on Trip to be 1km walk from West Lake). I have to say that the staff was extremely helpful and nice, even though I imagine it was difficult handling two demanding foreigners 😅 all in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a calm, slow paced, village vacation. And they have two very cute bunnies 😍

GGuest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel was comfortable and very close proximity to the train station. It is just literally a road across from the hotel and we lobby realised on our last day. Walking to the West Lake was a close 10min walk. It was not a strenuous walk as you will be going through a mall with lots of food and shops to get to West Lake. The male staff at the reception who checked us in was polite but the ladies were more welcoming. There were 2 lady staff at the restaurant for breakfast who were extremely caring and nice to my son. They would ask me if I wanted to pack some food for him as they noticed he did not eat much. This is a lovely gesture other hotels do not usually have. I love our tatami room as it combines into a huge bed that is comfortable for 3-4 petite people. The only downside is the Laundry room where it is located in a room where the door can be closed. This made me feel unsafe as there was one night where 3 other male guests came in with a top and underwear. Though there are CCTVs but just felt the laundry room would be better if it is near the reception area which is similar to one of the Shanghai hotel I stayed in. The dryer was weak and took many hours to dry my clothes therefore I observed for many nights, the dryers would constantly be in use for long periods. Overall Hangzhou service is so much better than Shanghai. Everyone is caring and lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

YYiluzizaiIf you're visiting Hangzhou, West Lake is a must-see, and if you're seeing West Lake, this hotel is the place to stay! It's literally right across the road from West Lake, and Wulin Night Market is just downstairs. You're practically staying at two attractions at once! Plus, every room has a balcony, and there's a large rooftop garden platform with panoramic views of West Lake and the surrounding area. The rooms are incredibly spacious; even a standard room here is easily the biggest I've ever stayed in. Seriously, for West Lake, this hotel is a no-brainer!
