"With such a good price with excellent location, I have no complaints. They have free snacks, drinks, grounded coffee, ice cream. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The only thing to feedback is their manager 店长, her behaviour action is unprofessional - talk as if I owe her and she can even comment to her staffs infront of me after the customers left. Because of this, I give lower rate in the service.
If a hotel that is not close to the attractions and manage by such manager, I can guarantee hotel wil close down one day.

But as soon as you turn into the alley where the homestay is located, it immediately becomes peaceful, giving you a sense of being 'hidden in plain sight' amidst the bustling city.
The moment I opened the door, I was amazed. The overall design aesthetic is superb, featuring a minimalist Song-style with a lot of character. The lighting and soft furnishings are perfectly matched, making every casual photo look great. There was also a thoughtful welcome card. There are two adorable, friendly cats that randomly appear by your door – a delightful surprise! The breakfast and their special black tea drink were both quite good.
Our room looked exactly like the photos on Trip.com, what you see is what you get. The mattress and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. The smart toilet was clean and convenient.
The mountain views are stunning, and it's so peaceful at night. The evening breeze while walking around the area was lovely – it’s truly an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation.

Anonymous UserHad a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

Guest UserOn August 20, 2026, I took my child to Hangzhou and pre-booked the Orange Crystal Hangzhou West Lake Nanshan Road Hotel on Ctrip. We arrived at the hotel at 4 PM, and the front desk staff greeted us warmly. Since I was with my child, the hotel upgraded us directly to a deluxe terrace room, adjusted the breakfast price for the next day, and even gave my child a welcome gift, which made my child very happy.
The hotel is very close to West Lake. Since it was my child's first time in Hangzhou, I took them on an evening tour of West Lake. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us directly to the intersection of Nanshan Road and Jiefang Road. Along the way, the driver told us about places to visit in Hangzhou, and upon arrival, he explained how to get to the tourist pier and gave us tips on how to catch a taxi back. Hangzhou left us with an excellent first impression on this trip.
After the night tour of West Lake, we returned to the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with a terrace outside the French windows. Nanshan Road was beyond the terrace, but the soundproofing was excellent, and it wasn't noisy at all. It rained in Hangzhou that night, and staying in the hotel, watching the rain on the terrace outside the window, was truly delightful.

georgeshenThe hotel was fully booked on the day of our check-in, and we arrived over an hour early. Several staff members introduced us to various activities to pass the time, including a dedicated room for movies, board games, and a swimming pool. While waiting for our room, the service and amenities at InterContinental Danyang were exceptionally warm and thoughtful.
The room was a family lake-view suite, accommodating four people. The hotel's location, far from the central lake area, was incredibly tranquil, with no tourists by the lake. Away from city light pollution, we surprisingly saw the Milky Way on our first night, a rare sight in East China.
The swimming pool offered different children's activities daily. The botanical garden had a vast array of flowers and butterflies, along with a koi and swan pond where we could feed the fish. The hotel's two wings also featured a lighthouse and an observation deck.
The buffet dinner had everything we could ask for, and on Chinese Valentine's Day, they even gave out roses. The fish head dish at the Chinese restaurant was absolutely superb. Breakfast deserves special praise; despite the hotel being fully booked, we could order noodles via our phones, and the staff proactively asked about our coffee preferences. This is exactly the standard expected from an established InterContinental brand, and even with the summer crowd, the service and quality were uncompromised.
Finally, a special shout-out to our thoughtful butler, Emily. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly attentive. On our last day, we had an early morning departure for a yacht in the central lake area. Without hesitation, Emily helped us arrange a late check-out, even during the busy summer season.
To be honest, when I heard that the InterContinental was being rebranded, I had some reservations, worrying about a potential drop in service. However, after staying here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best hotel in China, in terms of both quality and service, that we've stayed at with our child during the summer season. Both its hard and soft assets are top-notch, and its service easily rivals that of established luxury hotel brands. I rarely choose to stay at the same hotel twice in the same location, but InterContinental Danyang has made me eagerly anticipate my next visit.

I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

On the day I checked in, it was pouring rain, and the porter at the entrance helped me find a covered parking spot, which I really appreciated. I forgot the first porter's name, but the next day, when I checked out, Mr. Qian, the driver, was also very good and helped me out.

This hotel is wonderful! It is very clean, quiet, staff is great and very helpful. However, I need to write a review that will help other foreigners that want to stay here. This hotel is in the middle of a village and very far away from the city!!!! If you want to go out, eat foreign food or have easy access to places, do not stay here! This place is only convenient if you want to see the attractions around the village, and you want a quiet and peaceful vacation far away from the city. It is almost impossible to get to the city center, just getting out of the village took us around 45 minutes each time. It is possible to walk, but note that it’s more than 4km to West Lake, so it’s not very convenient. There is also traffic control at certain times, so car hailing is not even possible. You would have to walk/take a bus/find a random taxi. There aren’t enough foreign friendly food options around, but Meituan works, it will take them more than an hour to deliver, but they will. I can’t imagine any foreigner that doesn’t already live in China managing to arrange all of those things on their own. Note that there are no pharmacies in the village, so you would have to order any medicine if needed.
That being said, we embraced the quiet and tranquil vacation, even though it wasn’t planned that way (I booked this hotel because it was advertised on Trip to be 1km walk from West Lake). I have to say that the staff was extremely helpful and nice, even though I imagine it was difficult handling two demanding foreigners 😅 all in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a calm, slow paced, village vacation. And they have two very cute bunnies 😍
