Zhejiang Hotel

Although it's an older hotel, the hygiene is excellent. You really can't beat an established brand. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety. On the day I checked in, it was pouring rain, and the porter at the entrance helped me find a covered parking spot, which I really appreciated. I forgot the first porter's name, but the next day, when I checked out, Mr. Qian, the driver, was also very good and helped me out.

The hotel is right by West Lake, and you can see Broken Bridge from the window. Downstairs is Metro Line 1. You can walk to Broken Bridge, and there's a night market to explore in the evenings. The room was very quiet, and breakfast was plentiful. The Dongpo pork at the hotel restaurant was also excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

Extremely convenient location, right outside Fengqi Road subway station. The hygiene was good. Although the decor is a bit dated, it was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was abundant, and they even offered complimentary sour plum juice to go. During the sweltering Hangzhou summer, we stayed in the hotel playing games. The only issue was the unstable Wi-Fi and the TV constantly buffering.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was just right – not too soft, not too hard. We were warmly welcomed with complimentary fruit upon check-in, and even better, we received a free upgrade to a room with a distant view of West Lake. A robot delivered the disposable bath bag. Breakfast was plentiful, and you could even make your own fresh juice.

The location is fantastic, very close to West Lake, and public transportation is super convenient. There are also lots of great food options nearby, and it's a short walk through to Wulin Night Market to get to West Lake. The hotel breakfast is quite rich and they even offer coffee to go. The only downside is that the hotel facilities are quite old.

I'd like to give a special shout-out to Zhang Zhihong from housekeeping. Her attention to detail was exceptional, and it's these little thoughtful touches that really make a difference when traveling! Definitely deserves a big thumbs up! 👍 The only downside was with the front desk regarding my food delivery. My order arrived at the front desk at 11:20 PM, but it took the robot about 30-40 minutes to deliver it to my room. I called the front desk three times during that wait but received no answer or response. By the time the food arrived, it was completely cold. I can't help but wonder if having staff deliver it directly or even just calling my room to have me pick it up downstairs would have avoided this. The lack of response or any attempt to resolve the issue was really puzzling.

Zhejiang Hotel is the perfect choice for a family trip to Hangzhou! The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around, dining, and sightseeing. The service is thoughtful; they provided kids' amenities for our stay with children, and the staff were very responsive. The room was spacious and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast had a wide selection, with many options suitable for children. The complimentary self-service laundry and dryer were a huge plus for families. Overall, it offers great value for money. Staying here saved us time and effort when visiting West Lake. We'll definitely choose it again on our next visit.

The room was fantastic, with a great rain shower that was very refreshing. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. The front desk was very thoughtful and welcoming during check-in, demonstrating a high level of professionalism befitting a four-star hotel. During my stay, the housekeeping staff truly understood customer needs and showed great initiative. On my first night, I took some laundry detergent in a paper packet from the self-service laundry room back to my room. The next day, after returning from sightseeing, I found a small travel-sized bottle of Blue Moon laundry detergent next to the sink. This kind of service, where the hotel anticipates and provides for a customer's needs without being asked, and without making a big deal out of it afterwards, is truly impressive. I believe this level of service is spot on and definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
