GGuest UserThe hotel entrance is right by the subway station, which is super convenient for getting around. The front desk service was very warm and attentive. The room facilities are brand new, and they offer complimentary drinks. The lobby area is great, with a coffee machine, and there's a laundry room on the first floor.

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated.
Cons:
1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink.
2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience.
Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were lovely. The facilities are well-equipped, and there's a self-service laundry room and a gym on the -2 floor. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this place again next time. The pillows were also excellent.

GGuest UserThe InterContinental Qiandao Lake is truly the top choice for a vacation in Qiandao Lake. The hotel occupies the entire Xianshan Peninsula, offering a quiet and private environment. Opening the window reveals a panoramic lake view, with expansive vistas and fresh air, instantly making you feel relaxed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the views are superb—you won't even want to leave the room. The dining quality is excellent, with a rich selection for breakfast that leaves you feeling satisfied. The family-friendly facilities are comprehensive, keeping the kids entertained while allowing adults to truly unwind. The service is warm and attentive, providing thoughtful care from check-in to check-out, with great attention to detail. Overall, the experience was fantastic; the environment, service, and views were all impeccable.

Cleanliness: Regarding cleanliness, I often saw staff cleaning the hotel and courtyard during my stay, so there were no major issues here. It was very clean and fresh.
Environment: The environment is the most praiseworthy aspect! After much research, I blindly chose this hotel and was so pleasantly surprised! You can see a panoramic view of Qiandao Lake directly from the first floor.
Service: Excellent! Everyone was very polite. Since we were traveling with a child, they proactively offered assistance during breakfast, bringing a high chair and disposable bibs, which was incredibly thoughtful and very friendly for families with babies. We'll definitely come again! Finally, I hope the hotel's breakfast could include a section specifically for younger babies; that would be even better!

Ccaca321Due to the Spring Festival travel restrictions, getting to the hotel turned out to be unexpectedly troublesome... We had to drag a ton of luggage across cobblestone paths and then take a 30-minute boat ride to finally reach the hotel. The transportation connections definitely need improvement! However, thankfully, good things come to those who wait. The hotel's service and scenery were both excellent, and the food was also delicious, especially the swamp prawns – I absolutely loved them!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to West Lake, and right outside is the Intime commercial area. The hotel's viewing platform is particularly noteworthy; enjoying the beautiful West Lake scenery from it in the morning is incredibly pleasant! The front desk staff are professional and very patient, and the restaurant and housekeeping staff are all very enthusiastic! The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and good quality dishes, with different options each of the two days (fruits, hot dishes, and pastries varied daily). Food replenishment was also very prompt; even though it was crowded during the holiday, there were never any empty platters! (Guest in Room 1512)

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for just one night as I was passing through, but they upgraded me to a high-floor room with a distant view of the Baochu Pagoda. The environment was fantastic, and the large balcony offered stunning views of West Lake. I found the transportation convenient and the service and atmosphere excellent, so I decided to stay an extra night. I'll definitely be back.
