GGuest UserThe hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic and very satisfying. Our room was cozy and comfortable. My only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the pillow selection, perhaps adding memory foam pillows. The hotel isn't super close to attractions, but taxis are readily available right outside the entrance, making it very convenient. Plus, there's a huge variety of takeout options from the surrounding in77 mall – you'll be spoiled for choice!

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated.
Cons:
1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink.
2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience.
Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

The hotel is located only 3 bus stop away from Xihu (西湖）West lake，very good location not far from shopping street as well.
Cozy lobby with very friendly receptionist who even guide us to set up Alipay and how use Alipay to pay for the bus fare to West lake. Our room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall stay is a happy and welcoming. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to book this hotel if they are travelling to Hangzhou.

The male staff who assisted me during check-in was very helpful and kindly allowed me to check in earlier since rooms were available, which gave me more time to arrange the rest of my itinerary. The hotel room was quite good and comfortable overall. The only downside was that the soundproofing could be improved a little. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

The bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable; it's been a long time since I've slept in such a comfortable bed. The lighting was thoughtfully placed, and the shower's water pressure and temperature were perfect, making for a very pleasant experience.
## Cleanliness:
The room was exceptionally clean. The bedding and water glasses were spotless, and the toiletries, especially the wooden-handled ones, were quite nice. The only minor issue was a slight odor from the drain, but otherwise, everything was excellent.
## Environment:
Opening the window revealed a breathtaking view – the most stunning scenery in Qiandao Lake is undoubtedly the view from the lake-view rooms and the hotel's observation deck at the Peninsula Lake Bar. For those on vacation, it offers a hassle-free experience without the crowds.
## Service:
A butler was provided to help book daily activities, and the hotel's phone service was incredibly responsive. Even late at night, any requested items were promptly delivered.

GGuest UserTrue to its reputation as the most premium-priced hotel in Qiandao Lake, while others double their rates, Voco quadruples them! But it comes with a lot of positives:
1. When the weather is good, the drive into the hotel gives you strong vibes of Sanya Park Hyatt.
2. The concierge service is excellent – they are very proactive with luggage and opening car doors.
3. There's a minibar; not a huge selection, but it includes Qiandao Lake beer.
4. We received two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar, which immediately boosted the vacation feel.
5. The travel photography service is high quality, with costumes and makeup provided – really good!
6. The lake view is unbeatable, whether from the restaurant or the lobby.
7. The infinity pool isn't huge but it's perfect for sunset photos, no need to go to Tianyu.
8. Breakfast quality is high, and they even have a dedicated kids' buffet section – I've stayed at a hundred five-star hotels and this is the first time I've seen that.
9. The kids' club is pretty good; it can keep them entertained for about an hour.
10. The gym also boasts three-sided lake views, which is rare.
11. The room isn't large, but the TV is excellent, with plenty of shows that my kids loved.
12. We received welcome snacks and fruit.
13. There are complimentary drinks in the lobby, which my family enjoyed.
14. There's a band performance with a Filipino singer, which creates a good atmosphere.
15. The toiletries are good quality, imported.
However, there are a few downsides:
1. The canopy tent is quite ordinary.
2. There's no butler service.
3. The upgraded room wasn't great and had a poor view.

MmysamThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance of the West Lake In77 area, making it super easy to explore shops, scenic spots, and delicious food – there's so much to see and do, you won't even be able to cover it all! We arrived at 11 AM, just hoping to drop off our luggage, but to our surprise, we were able to check in immediately, and even got a room upgrade. The panoramic West Lake terrace on the tenth floor was an unexpected delight! The breakfast spread was ample and tasty too. As for downsides, there weren't quite enough power outlets, so I'd recommend bringing an extension cord, haha. Also, the sink drains a bit slowly! But honestly, these are minor issues; we'll definitely choose Xinqiao again on our next visit!

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for just one night as I was passing through, but they upgraded me to a high-floor room with a distant view of the Baochu Pagoda. The environment was fantastic, and the large balcony offered stunning views of West Lake. I found the transportation convenient and the service and atmosphere excellent, so I decided to stay an extra night. I'll definitely be back.
