4-Star Hotels in Bagmati, Nepal

This hotel was really good! I liked it quite a bit. I wish the location was a little bit better but other than that it’s pretty solid. The restaurant is pretty decent, but the rooms are actually really nice. I will say one thing, however, that the Wi-Fi is not very good. Other than that, it was a great stay.

I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel. The room was in great shape, and I slept super well. The hotel was kind enough to let me check in around 10:30 am and offered me fresh watermelon juice upon arrival. The room service and food is quite good and affordable. I was able to get several dishes and a drink for dinner for just 7 USD. It is located in Thamel (take that as you will). Really appreciate the security gaurds as it makes the whole property feel even more secure.

Nice, clean rooms, big comfy bed and pillows. Shower was okay. Water did not get hot, lukewarm at best and refrigerator was not cold at all, I almost thought it was broken. Food was good if you stick to Nepali and Indian food options, but lassis were watered down. Drinks were also not cold. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, but I had two instances that really turned me off. They have a free buffet breakfast, but if you opt to skip it, they call you very early in the morning to ask if you're coming or not. This disturbed my sleep several times until I asked them to stop. Today was also my last day here and although check out is at 3pm, I received a call from reception at 10:30am asking when I'd be leaving. He informed me that a big group would be arriving and told me that the check out time was noon, when it was clearly stated otherwise online. He asked if I'd be staying another night instead as if I was bartering to not be pushed out of my room before check out time, when I was right. I've never had such an experience before and have traveled all over the world. Such a lack of professionalism and tact. That is not how you treat guests at a 4 star hotel. Not recommending this hotel to anyone!

Great and best accommodation in Nepal I have ever stayed. It is full of culture and folks are extremely friendly.

Everything was great apart from a little bit of construction noise in the early days. Great location in Tamel, on a quiet street away from the noise of the city. The staff were as friendly and friendly as possible and responded to any request. Free airport transfer is a convenient addition to stay at this hotel. Breakfasts are not very diverse, but satisfying, however, I did not have enough vegetables. Hotel manager Sachin arranged for us the mountain flight at a cost lower than the travel agencies and even the airline itself offered, with transfers from the hotel and back after flight. Great place for this cost. Thanks!

During my 10 days of stay I truly loved the hotel, the staff from reception to house keeping were amazing and above all Kishor from reception and Saroj, how can only forget hom, what great person. I'm very thankful to him for the support he gave me in all my needs, from shopping, site seeing and much much more, I sincerely wish to thank Saroj , your truly a gentleman and I surely will never forgot you. A business hotel in the Lazimpat area. The facilities are sufficient and relatively new, and considering the price, it is very cost-effective. There is a power outlet at the desk, so it was easy to do office work. There is also a Japanese restaurant on the second floor. The lobby is small and gets crowded when there are groups. It is within walking distance of the Thamel area.

Good hotel, convenient location away from noisy streets. In general we liked everything. One time we didn't put the shoes, but brought on first demand. A delicious and diverse breakfast.

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means.
