A male staff member was helpful and very kind when I was lost trying to get to the hotel. I will be forever grateful to him as it was very frustrating! The room was freezing and house keeping never came so I had to ask the front desk for blankets since they gave us dirty ones to begin with. Bed sheets were clean, but blankets were not clean. We did not get blankets because “ they didn’t have extras “. Instead they gave us 3 sets of thin sheets, which did not help against the cold room. I told the staff the room was freezing and they said to turn the heat on. At that point the heat was on full blast for 5 - 6 hours and did not get any warmer. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and will probably not stay there again in the future.

We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times it’s a bit outdated needs a face lift. The parking is horrible you better have a small car because those spots are very tight and your car will definitely get dinged. Valet parking is great but it’s not 24h. Food at the restaurant was good. Bed was comfy, pool Was good and the hot tub (piss pool) was piss yellow and full of kids that shouldn’t be there.

The hotel is in a prime location. Travelers who do not drive can choose to walk 10 minutes to the subway station. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the old town. For self-driving travelers, the hotel provides free parking. It is located next to the highway exit and is very convenient. In addition, the simple breakfast provided by the hotel can make the morning full of satisfaction. It is highly recommended. The room surcharge every night is also super value. It is highly recommended to stay.

This is a very clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave the amenities 4/5 was because the pool was not available but there was nothing advertising this fact when we booked. Overall, a recommended hotel.

The room feels very clean, very good, basic equipment is available, business trip is OK, next time you will consider continuing! By the way, the bed is a bit soft, not particularly in line with my habits

I would highly recommend this hotel, very classic, European style hotel, decent breakfast and a little gym that can get your whole body workout done. The room is very spacious and classic. Very friendly staff and I would definitely stay there again if I am in Montreal next time...

The room is spacious and well cleaned. The location is very convenient for transportation, and it is very convenient to go to the city center and the train station. The front desk was also very nice. Because we took a night flight and arrived very early in the morning, the front desk said that there was a vacant room, so we paid a certain fee and checked in early. It was also very reassuring to store the luggage. Overall, it is a good review.

We went there for a couple days during the JFL festival. We booked the Panorama room, the one we got happened to be on the 7th floor. First and foremost; I've seen people complain about the noise from the street and homeless people trying to get in the lobby on every website. -This hotel is right at a busy intersection. There will be noise. It's normal. If you don't want noise, book somewhere away from downtown, period. The area was so close to everything on foot, we absolutely would go back if we happened to go to an event in the future. -The 3 nights /4 days we've been, no one tried to enter the lobby . We even had some door dashers blocked from going upstairs since they were not staying at the hotel and we had to pick up from the reception. I have no complaints there. We really appreciated the cooling system in the room; 2 different vents for the bedroom & living room, which were working very well in the hot weather (40°). It allowed us to lower the living room while not pushing direct cold air over us while we slept . Now, for the 1 star on cleanliness. Positives: -The towels and linens were clean and fresh. -Once done cleaning (I'll get back to this later), we asked for someone to come vacuum the floor and clean them to remove what was moved and fell on the floor, which was done almost instantly. Negatives; As I said, we stayed a few days so we actually went to a drug stock to pick up a duster and some cleaning wipes. - Dust. I am not talking about a small film of dust on hard to reach surfaces. I am talking about wool-covered vents and airways. The duster had no more yellow or white by the time we were done swiping the vents and corners of the rooms from cobwebs and dust. -Sticky surfaces. We used cleaning wipes to wash up every controllers , switches, tables, chairs and headrest. It was easily cleaned, but the amount of stains removed shows that nothing other than dusting had been done in a while. -Shower floor. The shower soap holder had sticky spots. We decided to wear flipflops in the shower to prevent from touching the floor directly. It did turn out to be a good move since no towels hanged in the shower were picked throughout our stay so it was definitely getting overlooked. If you are planning on staying for a bit, do bring some supplies if you don't want to be sneezing or accidentally touching someone else's dinner. That way you get to enjoy all the other great aspects of the hotel.

GGuest UserThe location of Travelodge was Central to the activities I had planned for my trip. The room was tiny. I had paid for a big room with double beds as the picture and description had said but what I got was a small room with one small bed. I had to share a bed with my friend. To say I was very surprised was an understatement Why will trip.co. post a picture which is false?. They had same type of breakfast. Bread, boiled egg, cereal and fruit. If you don't eat bread or eggs, you will definitely be on your own. One thing i really enjoyed was the location. Will I use Travelodge next time? I doubt but you never know.

SSelinda NgaiThey fulfilled majority of our requests, like providing a baby crib and an electric kettle but they placed to a wrong room. Also, the rooms are not close to each other, one was on G/F and the other room was on 1/F. The receptionist was nice but he could not speak English and told us no baby crib and no kettle! He checked the system there was an empty room next next to room 18, but it was still occupied. I doubt the accuracy of the hotel reservation system! We finally kept the original two rooms on G/F and 1/F. We did not use the baby crib as it was on the 1/F and we didn't want to move or ask service man to move (it seems that limited manpower in the hotel). Anyway, the view was very good and we enjoyed the sunrise early in the morning. Finally, I need to point out that the location of the power plugs inside the room was poor. They provided us a kettle but it was not user friendly with the power source. You can see the picture below. However, the food in the restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed a dinner and a breakfast there. The staff were very nice and helpful. Thank you.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

GGuest UserPro: (1) Upon check-in, I got a complimentary upgrade to a large suite with a balcony. (2) Room is clean, spacious and well equipped. (3) Conveniently located with bus/metro connections to airport and central train station. Only five minutes' walk to Chinatown. Walking distance to old Montreal. Con: (1) Only one housekeeping service in every 7 days of hotel stay which is rather inconvenient, and you need to tidy up your room by yourself. (2) My room is facing a busy street and sometimes got a bit noisy. (3) Difficult to adjust the shower head water temperature which is either too cold or too hot. (4) No safety box in the room.

LLivyC75The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel.

HHenri ChauRoom: 7/10 The room is not big, much smaller than expected; Location: 9/10 Very good sea view room, the sea is right outside the door, and this should be the favorite place for locals and tourists to take a walk and and take pictures.; Cleanliness: 8/10  The room was cleaned very well, but there was a strong bleach smell when entering the door; Sleep Quality: 2/10   A group of people in the next room were making loud noises and laughing unscrupulously all night. Smoking, drinking and smoking *********, they sat at the door of their room because it was on the ground floor. There were people coming in and out of the room all night, and the door opened and closed with loud noises. This was the first time I had such a bad hotel experience. Although we complained to the hotel reception, the staff came to knock on the door to remind them, also other rooms had complained too, and the staff came more than once. However, the people in this room did not stop;
