Since there were no twin rooms available when I booked, I had to take a king-size bed on the first day, then switched to a twin room for the remaining days. You can choose between a street-facing or back-facing room. The street-facing rooms even offer a view of the Bell Tower, and the double-paned windows do a good job of soundproofing. The only downside is that even in the early hours of the morning, the roundabout by the Bell Tower is still bustling with traffic. đ It's a nice touch that bottled water is available for self-service by the elevators.

This hotel was by far the highlight of our trip to Xiâan. The interior blends Tang-inspired aesthetics with a modern minimalist design, creating a space that feels both refined and incredibly comfortable.
The communal areas on the ground floor and the tea space on the fourth floor are perfect for unwinding. Each day, guests are offered a complimentary coffee as well as drinks at the bar across the street, which is a thoughtful touch.
The front desk staff are also exceptionally professional â noticeably above the standard weâve experienced at many other hotels.

If you looking for a place to stay at East Gate, this is the place for you. It right smack in front of East Gate of Xi'an Wall and exactly in front of the metro station. The hotel itself is only 2 storey at 4th and 5th floor with the receptionist, dining room, washing machine and gym on the 4th floor. It's actually very big as I think it occupied almost whole 4th and 5th storey building. The bulding itself share with other commercial tenant. The room I got is on the 5th floor far away form the lift so it kind of bit hassle to walk down let say to wash your clothes.
The breakfast is exceptional. Not big variety type but enough to fill your stomach in the morning. I got myself room with a verandah with Xi'an Wall. Just a bit put off that the parapet wall/railing is kinda high up to your chest fully opaque so in case you want to see the view you need to stand up rather than sitting down. I will be better a glass type of parapet wall/railing so you can bask in the view.
My opinion if you want to get a room maybe 4th floor is good enough with facing the city wall. I don't think got anything different than 5fh wall only they have verandah.

This is my go-to hotel, and I always enjoy my stay. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast menu is updated regularly, and I especially love the freshly made noodles with their rich broth â so delicious! Honestly, I can't really fault anything. Their service is also top-notch; little N (Xiao N) was particularly enthusiastic. The only minor thing is that the decor is starting to show its age a bit.

Choosing this hotel for our Xi'an trip was definitely the right decision! Yunhe Yebo Bell and Drum Tower South Store is in an absolutely prime downtown location. We were just a few minutes' walk from enjoying the stunning night view of the Bell and Drum Tower, and there are tons of authentic Xi'an snacks right around the corner, making breakfast super convenient. The metro station is also very close, so getting to the North Station, airport, or Terracotta Warriors was a breeze.
The room itself was clean and odorless, with plenty of space. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent â we had a wonderfully quiet night's sleep despite being in the heart of the city. The bathroom was spotless with a great wet/dry separation, and we had stable hot water and fast Wi-Fi. Strawberry and Taiyang (Sun) at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they proactively shared local travel routes and tips to avoid tourist traps, which was a really thoughtful touch. All the facilities were well-maintained, and the price was fantastic, offering excellent value for money. Our family had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xi'an!

Honestly, I'm very disappointed. I booked this hotel based on the pictures, which showed a very tranquil courtyard style. However, the hotel is tiny; what you see in the photos is pretty much the entire lobby. It's miles apart from the designer hotels I've stayed at in Shanghai.
Room: My overall impression was that it was unclean, very dirty. Even though it's a rustic Chinese-style decor, being dirty makes it feel awful. The entire room had no proper mirror! This means women can't do their makeup in the morning (there's a small mirror above the sink, but the overhead light is too bright).
The so-called 'garden' isn't really a small courtyard at all; it's just the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park behind the hotel. That's hardly a hotel amenity.
I have a habit of working out, but the gym was about the size of a bathroom and incredibly hot with no AC. It only had an outdated treadmill and a rack of vertical dumbbells. I did a quick lift and left.
The upside, of course, is its proximity to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Joy City. But other than that, I'm extremely dissatisfied. I had initially booked four nights, but I cancelled and moved to another hotel.
If you're only looking for proximity to attractions, you *could* consider it. But if you're used to staying in chain hotels, proceed with caution â you'll be very disappointed.

This hotel deserves a five-star review! My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Muslim Quarter, and super convenient for getting to the Great Wall and other major scenic spots â truly hassle-free sightseeing. The staff were very responsive and communicative. The front desk team, both the young men and women, were incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and genuinely helpful. They proactively shared recommendations for local specialty restaurants and even helped me plan a sensible itinerary and introduced reliable tour guides, saving me a ton of planning time. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, and the comfort level was excellent. This hotel genuinely enhanced my entire trip, offering incredible value for money. I highly recommend it to all travelers!

I checked in early in the afternoon, and the moment I opened the door, I just wanted to take pictures. Wow. The sunlight streaming through the curtains was so warm and inviting. Combined with how clean and tidy the room was, my first thought was, 'I definitely made the right choice.' The facilities and equipment were quite new, but most importantly, everything was spotless. On the table was a copy of 'Ordinary World,' which I'd love to own. The front desk even offered to mail me a new set. After soaking up some sun and resting for a bit, I went down to the front desk to ask for travel tips. Following their advice, I visited one spot after another without having to backtrack. Both the sightseeing and the food were great. It was a really enjoyable trip.

I stayed at the Orange Wing Orange Hao Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Yongning Gate Subway Station Branch) during my trip to Xi'an, and my overall experience was fantastic â I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel's location is superb, just a two-minute walk to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Plus, there's a night market downstairs where locals frequent, so you don't have to go far for delicious food. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, checking me in quickly. They even thoughtfully hand-drew maps for local eateries and tourist attractions, and patiently explained public transport options. My room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a great view of Yongning Gate at night. Any requests I had during my stay were promptly addressed by the staff, and they made ordering takeout very easy. The value for money here is outstanding; everything from transportation and cleanliness to service is impeccable. When I checked out, they even gave my child a small 'Ping An Bag' (peace bag). I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an.

MM423333****Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around.
You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.
TTang ALThe hotel is located near Guangjijie D1 metro exit with KFC and many eateries and restaurants nearby. The room is spacious and well cleaned after the cleaning services. The hotel also provides breakfast, tea break and dinner though the varieties are limited but sufficient. The hotel services, in general, are good and well provided! A highly recommended hotel for a short and budget stay in XiâAn!

MM548724****The hotel facilities are good and it's clean. The bed is really soft and comfortable. The cleanliness is quite satisfactory; there are no stains on the bedding, and the floors are clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Keji Road subway station, making transportation quite easy. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea with black tea and parking vouchers.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bell Tower and on the main thoroughfare, making it very convenient for taxis and the subway. The room was quite spacious, the staff were friendly, laundry facilities were handy, and breakfast offered a good variety.

GGuest UserWhen traveling to Xi'an, choosing a luxury hotel is key. After much deliberation, I finally settled on this one. The hotel has excellent facilities, is clean and tidy, offers a quiet environment, and is conveniently located just a hundred meters walk from Datang Everbright City and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Plus, the front desk staff, both the ladies and the gentlemen, were incredibly welcoming! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI never write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves one. A great hotel like this should be known by everyone! Before checking in, I called to ask if they could air out the room, and the friendly male staff member on the phone happily agreed. When I arrived in the evening, both the front desk lady and the lobby staff greeted me with smiles and were very approachable. After checking in, I had a small issue, and the staff went above and beyond, running up and down a few times to help resolve it. The next day, a female staff member even came up specifically to apologize for the minor problem from the day before. The hotel's breakfast selection was rich and varied, and the restaurant staff were also incredibly warm and attentive. I ended up extending my stay for another night. When checking out, the front desk staff specially came over to give me a small gift, again expressing their apologies for the little hiccup during my stay. This is a truly sincere hotel that makes travelers feel completely at home. I can't recommend it enough! đ
