Facilities: This is an old hotel, and the facilities are all quite dated, from the floors to the cabinets and tables. It's quite odd that there's no restroom in the lobby on the first floor; you either have to walk several minutes back to your room or go to a nearby restaurant.
Cleanliness: I didn't take a picture of the small round coffee table, but it was very dirty. I even found bugs in the bathroom!
Environment:
Exterior: There's a karaoke bar either upstairs or downstairs. It's fine at night, but really noisy in the morning! Although we were warned about this at check-in, what good is a warning then? It's not like you can change hotels with all your luggage.
Interior: I've never seen a hotel like this. After getting off the elevator, you have to walk for about two minutes, winding around corners, just to get to your room. The layout design is definitely problematic!
Breakfast: The variety was very limited, but everything tasted pretty good.
Service: Still commendable.

I chose Andu Hotel for my business trip, and the location is absolutely fantastic! It's fully equipped and only a 10-minute walk from where I needed to be, plus there's a subway entrance right outside. The front desk staff were lovely; check-in took literally a minute, and they even upgraded my room. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft – after a long day of work, I fell asleep instantly. I had an early start the next day, and breakfast was ready at 7 AM. There was a huge variety of food, and the coffee was really aromatic. Definitely a perfect score from me!

The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and super clean. The hot water supply is ample, and the internet speed is fast – honestly, it's just as good as any chain hotel. While they don't have dining facilities, Pingjiang Road is just a left turn outside, offering tons of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is incredibly attentive, making my stay comfortable and stress-free. Plus, the hotel itself is so photogenic, every corner is perfect for a snap. Definitely a full five-star rating!

The price/performance ratio is very high, the room is large, clean and tidy, all the equipment is available, and the supporting facilities are complete. There is also an indoor Bluetooth speaker haha. Breakfast was also delicious. The windows have a great view.

Fantastic location with parking available. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is just a short walk away, and the area is packed with great food options. Plus, there's a well-stocked convenience store right downstairs for anything you might need. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Nanjing.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Dayoujing and is easy to find. There's also a small shopping mall downstairs. The hotel occupies floors 42 to 49; the entire building houses various hotels on different floors, which means there's a constant flow of diverse guests. The rooms with a view are decent; being on a high floor, you can get a glimpse of the city lights at night, though there isn't really a 'scenic' view to speak of. Hotel service was average. When I called the front desk for extra water, they informed me there's a hotel policy of only providing four bottles per day, which was not stated on the booking page. However, the room itself was clean and quiet, which was a definite plus.

This trip to Changzhou was full of pleasant surprises! The Yuncheng Yiju Hotel, in particular, far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the amenities were modern. The service was incredibly attentive too. Its location was very convenient, not far from any of the attractions, and offered excellent value for money!
The most exciting part was that if you buy a ticket to Changzhou Dinosaur Park right now, you also get a free ticket to the Water Park! One ticket for two amazing parks – what a fantastic deal! The immersive dinosaur-themed attractions and shows at Dinosaur Park made us feel like we'd traveled back to the Jurassic period, and the Water Park was a perfect summer paradise for water fun. Both adults and children had such a blast they didn't want to leave!
On the second evening, we visited the Cultural Plaza. Not only was the architecture stunning and perfect for photos, but we also caught a free outdoor concert! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Enjoying local delicacies while listening to the music instantly filled me with a sense of pure travel bliss!
I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Changzhou. Everything was well-planned, allowing us to have a blast without any worries. I'll definitely be back!

Right across from Suzhou North Railway Station, it's very noticeable and a great location. The service is thoughtful, and the staff are enthusiastic. The room was clean, tidy, and well soundproofed. The shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was also plentiful. Vienna International is always my top choice for business trips and travel.

To solve the parking issue when visiting Suzhou Museum, I specifically chose this hotel, which is just a 2-minute walk from the museum. The subway station is right across the street, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel's courtyard is beautifully decorated, featuring two towering century-old trees and stunning autumn maple leaves. The hotel is very quiet, and the room facilities and decor are extremely comfortable. However, what impressed us most was the service awareness and attitude of the hotel staff.
They messaged me via Trip.com two days in advance, asking me to contact them early. They sent me the hotel's location, asked about my estimated arrival time, and requested that I call them a few minutes before reaching the hotel. Upon arrival, they proactively led me to the back parking lot and even helped with our luggage (even though we only had one backpack). They enthusiastically and efficiently prepared welcome fruits and afternoon tea, escorted us to our room, and had already turned on the air conditioning for us. They repeatedly reminded us to contact them anytime if we needed anything.
When we checked out, they voluntarily accompanied us to the parking lot and prepared water and snacks for our journey. The enthusiasm, diligence, proactiveness, and responsibility of these young men and women left a deep impression on us. Next time I visit Suzhou, I think I will definitely choose this hotel again.

We absolutely love our six-day stay at Jinfan Wanyuan. The efficiency and friendliness of the front desk to the cleaning staff is amazing. Every morning we look forward to breakfast choices on offer. The room is well designed for two people with big luggage. A five-minute walk to the metro, a mouth-watering world heritage roast duck restaurant a few steps away (very reasonable price), and a few local convenient stores in the vicinity make Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel a perfect choice. We will definitely come back.

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel because I wanted to try out this style, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The only minor drawback was that the location was a bit hard to find at first; after parking the car at the entrance of Pingjiang Road, we had to walk a distance, and the ground was uneven, which made it a bit challenging with luggage.
On the day of check-in, the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which was a really pleasant surprise. The front desk staff also had an excellent attitude, making us feel very well taken care of.
Additionally, upon check-in, thoughtful touches like small cookies, fruit, yogurt, and a welcome card were provided. These little details really enhanced the experience.
The only thing is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't know how to operate it, or if it was designed that way. It would have been perfect if the lighting brightness could be adjusted.

GGuest UserFloral hotel Nanjing review
Hotel has unique character. Located in a private complex so it is quieter with no public car / scooter allowed to get in.
Kids are happy playing and running outside the complex. Very clean, quiet and charming area.
Location: fantastic location at laomendong old town (3 mins walk to the main old town - all the main actions), 10 mins walk to the city wall.
We arrived at night and it was late (11pm) so it was a bit hard to find the accomm. 3 luggages and 2 kids made it hard-but I imagine using taxi outside the airport would make it easier and more convenience. The taxi will drop you off just outside the complex. It was 2 mins walk to the hotel. The hotel is easily found inside the complex. Check in process is super easy.
To travel around, there are 2 metro stations you can use. We usually use the wumending stations - around 15-25 mins walk depending on the kids mood. However we never have problem commutting. The walk to the station is dotted with shops (food, snacks, convenience stores).
Room: Clean, spacious and modern
A family of four.
We have plenty of space. Amenities are very modern. Plenty of storage space inside the toilet for your toileteries.
Bed is massive (king size) and comfortable.
We booked 2 beds to accommodate our family.
Daily housekeeping and water bottles replacement.
Communication:
The owner will add you on wechat on check in day. All communication can be done via wechat. The translation app in wechat is a god sent. The staff has minimal english - but we dont have any problem communicating through wechat conversation. You can ask them for information etc through wechat. They will reply straight away.
Services:
Impeccable, above and beyond.
The owner and all of the staffs are super helpful. Always keen to help. The owner took and showed us the restaurants around laomendong which are worth going - as there are plenty of restaurants around the areas.
Because it is a boutique hotel, the service is very personalised.
Breakfast:
Set meal for breakfast every morning. Serve at 8am. It is not buffee with hundreds of selections but they give you healthy and nourishing breakfast. We stay there for 4 days and everyday is different menu. We absolutely enjoy our breakfast.
Bits and pieces:
There is a friendly and well behaved corgi dog inside the residence. My kids are generally scared of dog but they could not help themselves petting and playing with the dog.
They missed the dog when we left Nanjing.
I ve seen other hotels in major areas when we walked around. But the street is very busy and wont suit us. Also hotels in cbd areas - no character surrounding the cbd. It would be perfect for business people but I think this hotel is very suited for leisure and family.
The hotel provide laundry service too. You just need to drop it off to front desk. They will wash, dry and fold them for you!!!
My daughter vomitted on our second night. The sheets would be stained from the vomit but they did not charge us for the damage.
The hotel can order you taxi if you dont have didi apps for taxi. My didi apps did not work as i did not set it up properly back home. You dont even need to pay the taxi driver either-they will sort it out and the hotel will charge you later.
The price might be a bit higher than the surrounding hotels, however its definately worth every penny.
In conclusion:
Your accommodation choice can really impact your trip. Floral hotel has been amazing and I believe this hotel was an excellent choice for family / leisure trip. We really enjoy our Nanjing trip because of Floral Hotel. Thank you Floral hotel for everything and we will definately stay at your hotel again next time we come to visit Nanjing.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

HHeimi_123Our stay here was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the accommodation was very comfortable. My child loves baths, which was why we chose this place; the disposable plastic liners provided for the tub made us feel very safe and at ease. In the evenings, the owner even set out watermelon and other fruits in the lobby for everyone to enjoy freely. We'd sip tea, chat, and it was incredibly relaxing! Inside, there's a large alligator snapping turtle and three smaller turtles. My child absolutely loved repeatedly feeding watermelon to the alligator snapping turtle. When it was time to leave, my child didn't want to go! It was a truly wonderful trip, and I've attached some photos for reference.
LLululuzhuOverall, global hotel chains deliver reliable quality! The view of Nanjing's Xinjiekou city center is truly unbeatable! Perfect for New Year's Eve with its floor-to-ceiling windows. The room facilities are well-maintained, and attention to detail is evident. The front desk service was attentive and excellent! The buffet was just average, but there are plenty of malls and dining options nearby, so it's very convenient overall. The hotel offers good value for money!

AAnonymous UserThis time, I chose the Mercure Nanjing Xinjiekou, and I'm completely won over by its blend of convenience and quality! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Xinjiekou, a 3-minute walk to the subway station. The area is packed with malls and old-school eateries, making it ideal for both shopping and dining.
The room design shows thoughtful touches, with warm lighting and minimalist furniture. As someone with lumbar and cervical spine issues, I found the mattress incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm! Paired with the blackout curtains, I could get a peaceful night's sleep even in a bustling commercial area. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding and bathroom were spotless, and the toiletries were high-quality, exceeding my expectations.
The service was an added bonus. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they even proactively recommended local hidden gems and must-try foods to avoid tourist traps. Requests were handled promptly; extra pillows and a power strip were delivered quickly, and even the cleaning staff greeted me politely.
Highly recommended!

MMangguoguoguoguoguoguo_Staying here for New Year's Day was a total surprise and absolutely perfect! The front desk staff proactively upgraded our room for free, which instantly felt like a huge bonus. The upgraded room was really spacious, and the TV's screen mirroring feature was awesome – it was so enjoyable to lie in bed watching shows at night. The neck pillows were genuinely comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The cleanliness was top-notch, and all the facilities were brand new.
I have to praise the service; the staff were friendly and always willing to help. The location couldn't be better either – Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and Qinhuai River are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, eating, and drinking. When we got tired from exploring, we could just pop back to the room for a rest.
This stay exceeded all my expectations, from service and environment to the overall experience. I truly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is quite large, and it's a bit of a winding drive even if you take a taxi, haha. Check-in was very smooth. Only two bottles of mineral water in the room are complimentary; everything else is chargeable. I'd recommend grabbing two free bottles from the lobby before heading up to your room!
The elevators require key card access, which adds to security, but there are no room service robots, so if you order takeout, you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself! However, there are plenty of elevators, making it easy to go up and down. It's also quite soundproof, and the bedding is very comfortable.
A 500 deposit is required at check-in, which is fully refunded if there are no extra charges after check-out. If you need a late check-out, it's 30 per hour, which is pretty reasonable. Overall, it's a decent stay.
