Zhangye Shangjing Holiday Hotel

Zhangye West Railway Station
The room is very clean and very comfortable. In addition, every guest is given a foot bath bucket and white fungus and red date porridge every night👍👍 I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel when going to Zhangye to see the colorful Danxia.
Dunhuang Baiwen Hotel

Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring
The location of the hotel is easy to find, it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere, and it is close to several attractions in the city. Facilities: The facilities are complete, mainly the hotel room is equipped with a humidifier, which is very considerate for people who are not used to the dry weather in Dunhuang. Hygiene: The bedding, bath towels, and bathroom are very clean. After staying in the room and going out to play, the room will be cleaned and the bath towels will be changed every day. Environment: Very quiet, very good rest. Service: The service is in place, and they will ask in advance whether you need to bring breakfast or beef noodles across the street. A hotel with a relatively high cost performance, I will choose it next time I come!
Runhu Holiday Hotel

Bell Tower
We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!
Hexi Corridor Grand Hotel

Shazhou Market
We got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly. Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also. Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area. The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out. I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.
FUNLIST & MAY HOTEL Lanzhou

Olympic Sports Center/Lanzhou Old Street
Let me comment🎆🎆🎆 Convenient location, convenient transportation! The taxi fare from Lanzhou West Station! Just opposite the entrance of Jinwaitan Community on Lanzhou Old Street! There is a convenience store next to the hotel, and there are small stalls to buy barbecue, skewers, etc. in the evening The hotel does not have its own catering, because it is the same as the Pu Yan next door, so breakfast has to go to the Pu Yan Hotel next door! The 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel are hollow in the shape of a Chinese character, and you can see the lobby on the 1st floor! But when I booked the room, I was upgraded to the 5th floor (actually the 4th floor) and there was no such view... Just arrived at the hotel and checked in. When looking for the room, I met the cleaning lady, who enthusiastically led me the way. Seeing that I had a lot of luggage, she also kindly helped me open the door! I was told to speak up if I needed anything! Very satisfied with the service! The hotel room is fully equipped! The hair dryer is Xiaomi! The room comes with a power card, which is very convenient to get in and out! Heated toilet, comfortable! Tips: The room supplies are all tea, no coffee; some rooms (like my room...) may be too close to the building next to it, so the curtains must be closed all day! The room does not have a smart system! Complaints: The faucet of the basin is too low, which is inconvenient for washing; the hotel looks very new, but the water flow of the shower is not good, I don’t know if it is a water pressure problem; I checked in at the end of December, and there were small flies in the shower room...; the bedding feels a bit dry.
Holiday Inn & Suites Lanzhou Center

Gansu Provincial Museum/Lanzhou Center
First of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station. The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space. When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked. Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.
Yitel Zhishang Hotel (Zhangye West Railway Station Bell and Drum Tower Branch)

Bell Tower
Best hotel experience in my trip in China! The staff are extremely friendly and do their best to meet the needs of the guests. The rooms are clean and tidy. As a non-smoker, I would suggest installing air fresheners in the rooms to neutralize the smell of cigarettes. I will definitely return to this hotel again when I have the chance. I sincerely recommend it.
Jinyang International Hotel

Dafo Temple
Hygiene: The carpet is a bit stained Environment: Very good, West Bus Station is right downstairs, and the location is quiet! The corridor has antique-like furnishings and the passage is wide. There is also a museum on the third floor of the hotel, but it’s a pity that we don’t have enough time to visit it. The beds are also unique. Facilities: The hot water for bathing comes out quickly but not hot enough! Bedside touch screens are generally problematic. For example, a ”night light” can cause an alarm at the door. There is a humidifier. Service: The front desk service is good! Great turndown service! They just didn’t remind me that there was breakfast.
Huili Business Apartment (Jiayuguan Donghu Scenic Area Datang Food Street Branch)
4.6/5415 Reviews
Datang Food Street
Huili Business Apartment. Like the name implies it caters more for businessmen. If you don’t have a car it can be a bit of a hassle to get around. Though taxis are a good standby. As a 4* hotel it is huge and expansive. The hotel is clean and well-maintained though a bit dated. Nevertheless the room I was given was well equipped for a good night’s stay. The staff were helpful and tried their best to help with queries though one of them was a bit clueless. However the much touted night market was a letdown. It was quite a walk away and did not seem to be functioning fully. At night the whole area is aglow with attractive twinkling lights making the hotel look like a fairyland. I have nothing to complain about the hotel because I paid a very good price to stay here and they even allowed me a late check-out!
the Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel
4.7/51224 Reviews
Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring
You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.
