So far this is the most expansive room I booked, come with front view of Mt Fuji, room 412. However the Mt Fuji view did not command the price tag because unless you stay in for the whole day to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji. View of Mt Fuji can enjoy from all angle. Best of the hotel is the coffee serve which is the best so far, among dozen of hotels. The welcome drink of soft drink also last till 7pm, which is shorter that most of other hotel. May be I am biased, where the hotel have multiple accolades from Rakuten Travel, catering to a lot of local Japanese clients. The public bath also not great, where I have experience much better and real onsen at Ariman Onsen area. Area of improvement: 1. In the level one inner bath, there is a cover for the exhaust fan and is not mounted back after maintenance. 2. At the fifth level bath, there is one washing cubicle just besides the bath with no cover to prevent the person showering water into the bath.

Travelled by express bus from Tokyo, super convenient as bus stop is in the hotel car park. Friendly front staff who spoke English, quick check in process, super nice location with a cute street with shops adjacent. Breakfast was standard, fantastic view of Fuji from restaurant and room. Nice Italian restaurant on ground floor, open long hours. Room was comfortable and had everything needed. If you enjoy roller coasters, then the Fuji-Q park will be a good visit. Free shuttle to the village with the lakes and cable car to view Mt Fuji, although it’s a short 30 minute walk. Very enjoyable one night stay.

Excellent location. Good view. Good Service. Great food. Welcome bar. Great sauna. The best hotel among others in Kawaguchiko. But need to book at least 3 months unless you’re lucky like me has somebody cancelled booking.

A fantastic stay at La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko! ✨ Enjoyed an excellent dinner with one of the best roast beef I’ve had, a sumptuous breakfast featuring sakura mochi dumplings, and even complimentary ramen for supper. Loved the relaxing public bath, especially with ice candy after. And of course, the Mt. Fuji view was simply breathtaking! Though the rain covered it today, we were lucky to catch a stunning view yesterday. Would definitely return! ⛰️🌸

I was quite worried because some of the recent reviews were disappointing, but although there were quite a lot of people, we didn't have to queue for meals, and we were able to relax in the hot springs, which became a very fond memory. The kids also had a lot of fun with the playground equipment in the basement and said they wanted to go back again. However, there was a bit of a queue after we finished eating, so I think it might be better to dine earlier. The food was very delicious. It's a very good inn and I recommend it.

My second stay with them in 2 years! Once you arrive at Kawaguchiko station, head to tourist information centre to get them to call the ryokan to pick you up. The ride is 5mins! The walk itself is about 10mins but hilly. You wouldnt want to do that with luggages in tow. The room is very clean and has great view of Lake Kawaguchiko. Our stay came with breakfast and dinner. Dinner was great! Most items were delicious. Breakfast is buffet style and pretty average. Their private and female onsen have views of mt Fuji!

The most satisfying hotel on this trip. I stayed in the presidential suite. When I got off the car, I saw the waiter waiting in the parking lot with the check-in form. The room was super large, with its own yard and outdoor hot spring bath. The water quality and temperature were very good. There was one more presidential suite in the lounge than in other guest rooms. Each guest room had its own dedicated restaurant for dining. The breakfast waiter was waiting outside the gate, waiting for us to come out and lead us to the restaurant. The service made you feel comfortable. Free drinks. Starbucks coffee, red and white wine, and various soft drinks, pick up in the lobby. It is very close to Kawaguchiko, just a few minutes' walk. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kawaguchiko.

Very nice hotel with great service. The garden is really nice to walk around with river flowing through it. Rooftop onsen in the evening as the sun sets is the highlight of the trip. The drum performance at night followed by bingo game was really captivating. Shoutout to Yumi who guided us to our room and explained all the hotel amenities and services. Food is extensive though taste wise in find not as tasty as what was offered in Tokyo. Tips: wake up early to take pic of Mt Fuji as I noticed by 11am the mountain was already hiding within the mist.

I had a great time chilling and enjoying the view and amenities with my friends during our 3 nights stay. Personally feel this one of if not the best view for Fuji. Stayed in the room with private Onsen in April. The room was very big and facilities were great. We drove here with plans to visit Kawaguchiko and Gotemba, the location was good for us considering our mode of transport. The only issue we had was that the room was very hot. The heater was centralised and we could not adjust the temperature and was advised to open the window to cool the room down. Even though we opened the window, the curtains would limit the air from coming in which made the room feel a little like a sauna at times. I still give this place a big thumbs up but will reconsider coming back here because of the heating issue.

KKareenCAmazing place with great everything! Staff were so kind with lots of inclusions; free parking, free amenities (some rentals like yakata, baby supplies etc), free afternoon snacks/drinks in the lobby. Great view all round - from our room, hotel lobby/lounge and where dinner/breakfast was served Had the public laundry, public baths (which we didn’t use as we booked a private bath), massage chairs - they had a blood pressure machine near them. Food served during breakfast and dinner were delicious, so fresh and great variety. Highly recommended, would def stay here again when we come back :)

MMaggie ChanThis glamping resort is awesome! My whole family love it so much. It is extremely clean and neat. We stayed here for 2 nights with awesome view of Mt. Fuji. The portion of dinner is appropriate, you can either grill it (stay indoor) or do it BBQ (outdoor). It is all up to you! With private onsen, kids could play freely. Will definitely recommend to friends

AAnonymous UserThe staff were professional and took very good care if us. They speak excellent and fluent English. The room was immaculate and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel’s restaurant was also a highlight of my stay. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure that every meal was a memorable experience. With the mt fuji view in room, highly recommended for a stay here and enjoy.
