It was my second time staying in this hotel. They have maintained the excellent standard. Prior to my arrival, I advised them that I don’t eat fruits except for dragon fruit. The dragon fruit was prepared. In my stay, the staff members were quite helpful. They recommended the good place to eat and also helped me to get a taxi as my Alipay didn’t work for transport. It was a pleasant stay.

The location is good. It is near Zhongshan street, a local market and it has a really good view of Gulangyu. The non-smoking floor had no trace of cigarette scent. The staff were helpful with the luggage and promptly resolved an issue with the room. I did request that they helped me with a restaurant reservation but failed to update me on the outcome. Overall, service was good.

Hotel is quite old but generally the room condition is very well-maintained and clean. Staff's attitude is very polite at front desk, room service and cleaning team. The cleaner even gave me a mouse pad when she noticed i didnt have one. Location is awesome, as there is a lot of local foods restaurant and convenient stores within 200M walking reach.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental Quanzhou, and I must say, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff, Lucus greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly at home. Check-in was seamless, and they even offered a toy doll to my daughter, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, immaculate, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail. Every part of the hotel, from the lobby to the dining area, exuded elegance and care. The breakfast were also fantastic. The varieties of foods were huge and the food was delicious, Throughout my stay, the concierge team provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, and the housekeeping staff kept the room in pristine condition. I also appreciated the seamless checkout process, making for a smooth end to an outstanding stay. All in all, intercontinental delivered a world-class experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, stress-free getaway. The combination of top-tier service, beautiful surroundings, and attention to detail made this a stay to remember.

The hotel is fantastic and we always stay there when traveling to Xiamen. Great facilities and welcoming staff, although the restaurant we visited inside the hotel was poor. The restaurant was the Italian on the ground floor of the hotel. We ordered a variety of starters and main meals, although they were brought out at different times and effectively we all ate alone. I stressed the point that can all the starters and main meals be brought at the same time and the response was they take different times to cook, I found this astonishing and surely the chefs could of altered this to meet our demands. The staff within the restaurant were poor at best, they didn’t ask how our meal was, even though we left most of it. In conclusion the hotel is wonderful, but if you’re thinking of eating in the Italian I would definitely not advise as the treatment and money we spent was not worth the value at all.

The room was clean and spacious and very enjoyable to be in for 4 nights. The service in this hotel is commendable and they really go the extra mile. First of all, there were issues with the first two rooms I was assigned. By the second room, I passed a comment “forget it, I’m lazy to request for a new room again” and the concierge staff with me offered to go down and get me another room. I didn’t get his name but I appreciate it and I got to have a comfortable stay thanks to him. The other incident involved my Taobao return package which was divided into two parts and only one package reached the seller. I had already left China by then and was severely limited in trying to resolve the issue myself. I emailed the hotel for assistance, and am very grateful to Wilson Ye from Concierge who spent a few days following up with the platform and courier. Would strongly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if I ever visit Fuzhou.

Stayed for a night looking for a high-end experience, and it definitely delivered! We got a room with a river side view that was beautiful even with gloomy weather. Front desk staff Benson and Lainely were very helpful with our accommodations and easy to understand. Had a late dinner ( I highly recommend the Peking duck & Fujuan style fried rice) and breakfast buffet. Emily from the restaurant staff was extremely patient and understanding of our needs when it came to the cuisine that has a little something for everyone. The indoor pool area was nice (shower cap is required) that had a sauna room in it as well. Would recommend this location for a couple wanting to get away and enjoy some of the finer things in life.

Sadly the hotel is not what it was. Everything is looking a bit tired and grubby. The rooms had a really strong odour - mine of damp masked by airfreshener and my colleagues of stale smoke. Everything looks worn, even the hangers in the wardrobe! It wouldn’t take much just to give it a bit of a refresh on the fittings and grouting. Breakfast was also disappointing from what it used to be - no fresh juices. But pasteries and fruit was good. coffee was diabolical and utterly undrinkable- i think they must have shares in the Starbucks downstairs! but beds were clean, massive and just as comfy as i remember them.

Booked an 5 day stay for an Business Trip. Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go. Overall hotel is very clean. Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms! Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call. The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had.

EEevveeccThe location is excellent. Not too far from the main shopping belt and close proximity to train station, shopping mall, food and shopping. Excellent service by hotel. Good amenities with gym, pool and love the self service laundry with thoughtful addition of steamer. The washing machine does not come with detergent but they have a kiosk that you can purchase. The room is good. Bed firmness just nice. Pillow too soft. But they able to provide buckwheat pillow. Service was very fast. Only thing I didn't like is that the air con vent is old and have a light rattling sound throughout the night. I had to put on a ear plug to sleep. I am a light sleeper. But my husband slept well without issue. TV channel selection all locals and international news channel. Choices are limited. Reputable hotel. Happy to stay again. Special mention to Lucy from housekeeping who checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. I requested to change room because the first room smelled bad and they promptly changed for me.

SSOH YEANThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel. We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable. The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed. Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore. Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserI can’t say I’m a frequent guest of this hotel, but I’ve been coming to it for the past 3 years at least once a year. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with the service. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hungry, they used to have a menu for the room service in the room, now it was gone, I had to call them to ask someone to bring the menu to the room. I ordered the food at 10pm, at that time, the selection of items was very limited. Luckily my Chinese is good enough to get by, because almost nobody spoke English there. I understand it’s not mandatory to have a full English speaking staff, but I think at least one person per shift should be able to speak some English in case someone needs it. Another point that needs improvement was the gym. Objects were unorganized, it looked abandoned. Besides all of this, when I come back, I might give this hotel another chance, the rooms are clean, the location is good and I am usually someone who’s loyal to brands.

JJ995LMy wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.

JJohn KenzoThis is the second time I am using this hotel. They have arranged a room at level36. Nice level and great view. Room is clean with fresh sheets. The issues are the rain shower was leaking spraying upwards. The air-conditioning is having a malfunction. It's either too warm or too cold. It's like 8degrees at night and it's really cold in the room or hot like sauna. Well stayed there for 2nights. There are Christmas decorations for the season. It make the hotel lobby livelier. Morning breakfast is decent. Its served with American breakfast and local Chinese cuisine. There are two major shopping malls beside it and one opposite. Great malls to hang out for Starbucks or McDonald's. There are many chinese restaurants available serving delicious food. Western food and Japanese cuisine are available too.

AAnneHad a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID. On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating. We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking. Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

GGuest UserThe room was newly decorated and well-equipped. The soundproofing was a bit poor, and at night, I could hear conversations in other rooms through the curtain wall. The staff was young, energetic, and friendly, especially June, who served breakfast in the dining room, and another lovely waitress. The breakfast menu was extensive and on par with international hotels, but the food service staff needed improvement. They didn't understand my order for an ”omlet,” and I didn't realize it was also called an ”egg roll.” After I finally understood what I ordered, they brought me a cold, already-cooked one from the back. This isn't the kind of service you'd expect from an international chain, and it was one of my biggest disappointments during my stay. Conclusion: Recommended: A new, good hotel in a great location.
