The room was great, facing the square, which made it super convenient to watch the flag-raising ceremony. Breakfast was decent too. The cleaning staff were incredibly diligent. However, upon check-in, I wasn't informed about the breakfast location. Also, I had booked two packages, and on the third day, they thought I had checked out, even though I had clearly explained my stay duration upon arrival. This caused my room card to stop working. They were very apologetic afterward and even sent fruit as an apology, which was a nice gesture.

We booked a family suite which was very spacious and the bedding was super comfortable. The service was excellent. It's an older, established hotel, so it's not the newest, but the service truly made our stay comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful; I was in a rush and didn't have time to finish my noodles, and the staff even kindly brought them to our room, which was a lovely gesture. The hotel also decorated our room for our wedding anniversary and gave us a cake—thank you, five stars! And the service at the Fudi Restaurant was also great, and the food was delicious. All in all, this stay was very pleasant. Thanks to InterContinental for their service.

Boasting a prime Gulangyu Island sea view, the hotel offers expansive vistas perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ideal for a family stay, with excellent hygiene and service. It's within walking distance of major attractions, making it easy for families with young children or elderly relatives. The breakfast is abundant, and the pool and kids' area are a great bonus, creating a perfect family vacation atmosphere. A fantastic experience overall!

Staying at the InterContinental Quanzhou, just like Wu Lei! The lobby, inspired by the concept of 'Xuan' (a traditional Chinese pavilion), blends ancient Minnan architecture with modern design – I was immediately struck by its sophistication upon entering. The room also boasts fantastic views; the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a bright and airy feel that's incredibly comfortable. Outside, you're directly overlooking the sea, a cable-stayed bridge, and a Ferris wheel. They say there's only one thing to do at the InterContinental: lie back and watch the Ferris wheel sunset!
The hotel is right next to Taihe Mall, and getting to most tourist spots and the city center only takes about 15-20 minutes by car, making it very convenient for getting around.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the bedding is incredibly soft, and the hairdryer is excellent. All the little details are perfectly executed.
Quanzhou is addictive, and I'd choose to stay at Taihe countless times again.
Chinese tea set: plenty of tea varieties.
Coffee capsules: convenient.

The hotel room I booked was a Luxury Executive River View Room, facing the southwest corner. The views and natural light were excellent, and privacy was high. It's truly one of Fuzhou's top room types. The interior space is large, with mostly wooden flooring and some carpeting – very impressive. The hotel also features a pool and gym with fantastic views, as well as an afternoon tea restaurant, all of which are of a very high standard. The afternoon tea cakes are freshly made, and the breakfast selection is quite rich and delicious, with fresh and light flavors. If I had to mention any shortcomings, it would be that some in-room facilities could be upgraded. For instance, the toilet isn't automatic, and the showerhead and faucet operation are a bit too traditional and impractical. There aren't full-room electric curtains, and the TV clarity isn't great. Also, the toothbrushes and toothpaste aren't from a well-known brand. If they could upgrade these details, it would be perfect.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean and tidy, satisfactory.
**Service**: There's butler service and reception at the entrance to help with luggage, etc. Check-in required queuing due to many guests, but the service felt very good.
**Environment/Location**: The location is excellent, right in the city center. Minjiang Park is right at your doorstep, and nearby shopping malls and attractions are not far, all within a short taxi ride.
This room design is very suitable for couples.
The hotel's Spring Festival decorations seemed to block the main vehicle access, causing inconvenience for entering and exiting. If management truly considered the guest experience, they would at least choose times with less traffic for such arrangements. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, but there are few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The reservations department showed a complete lack of awareness regarding their own issues (according to a self-proclaimed assistant department manager). When handling a lost guest request, they demonstrated a basic lack of service consciousness. On the other hand, the front desk staff were very proactive, responsible, and helpful, actively assisting guests with late check-out and document printing.
This hotel is located at down town nearby beautiful lake.
Once I stepped-in the room, i directly noticed that this hotel itself can be a hotel and alsl can be a resort in terms of view from the window. Xiamen's nice weather and amazing veiw over the lake made my memories unforgettable especially in sunset so that i really had wonderful time at this hotel.
Regarding room condition, this hotel is not new hotel, but it is well-maintained and well-managed hotel so that i had no hygiene issue.
As for Breakfast, This hotel offers various selection at Breakfast buffet restaurant with tasty hot dishes.
Each section was filled with dedicated chef and they were very polite and up for anything for Hotel guest.
Overall, well-managed and organized hotel in Xiamen and hope to visit the hotel again.

This hotel really shines because of its service. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, always greeting you with a smile. The room itself was pretty standard, though the bathroom ventilation wasn't great and there was a lingering smell. On the plus side, the complimentary tea and snacks were of high quality – they really didn't skimp there. I felt very safe with their access control system. The downside is the soundproofing isn't very good, and honestly, the room rate feels a bit overpriced, making it not quite worth it. However, the cookies and nuts in the lobby are absolutely delicious, especially the cranberry cookies – that's definitely a bonus! It's also in a quiet location despite being in a bustling area.

Visiting Fuzhou to see a friend, they recommended the Lakeside Hotel by Fuzhou's West Lake. I'd stayed here once before, but my memory was a bit hazy. This time, checking in, I had a strange sense of familiarity...
What I love most is the peaceful environment despite being in the heart of the city. The hotel provides ample parking, which is incredibly convenient for me as a self-driver. I also adore the beautiful West Lake views that greet you as soon as you open the curtains, and even more so, the relaxation of soaking in the large bathtub and the leisurely strolls along the lakeside path.
Staying on Xiamen Island is definitely more convenient for visiting various attractions, but after some consideration, I still chose the Hualuxe Haicang. The hotel boasts a grand and magnificent standard five-star decor, and the sea-view rooms offer fantastic views of Siming Island and Gulangyu Island, which is absolutely stunning. The hotel breakfast is excellent, especially the Shacha noodles – they're delicious! The swimming pool is also fantastic, particularly the hot spring pool for children. The concierge service is very good; they helped me with many express deliveries and food takeaways. Our butler, Zoey, was also incredibly thoughtful; since we arrived early, she tried her best to arrange an early check-in for us. The only minor drawback is that, like many high-end hotels, it's a bit isolated, with no quaint alleyways nearby to explore. However, for those with kids, after a day of swimming, the little ones are usually too tired to do anything else, so the pool is more than enough entertainment – my child was very happy!

CcharleshslThe hotel is right next to the subway entrance, which makes getting around super convenient. The front desk staff were excellent, always greeting us with a smile. It was close to Chinese New Year, and the hotel lobby was decorated with a really festive atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay.

CChidaobaoThere was one staff member, 'Jingjing,' who particularly stood out. She was incredibly dedicated in her introductions and very good at solving problems, leaving a fantastic first impression of the hotel. When checking out, I encountered several housekeeping staff, and one lady in a black uniform was also very kind, repeatedly reminding us to call for the shuttle. I believe she might be a supervisor in that area. She even spoke Fuzhou dialect with my mother. I will definitely arrange future events here. I'm so satisfied that I wanted to write a bit more – these excellent frontline staff members are truly an asset and the management should definitely retain them.

GGuest UserA great 4 star hotel just 900 meters (about a 10 minute drive) from Xiamen T4 and T5 airports.
⭐️Positive aspects:
Probably the biggest win is their airport shuttle service. They have a nice new Buick van (that is bright purple 🟪- so it is pretty hard to miss) and the van can be there within 10 minutes of when you call the hotel or message them from baggage claim. So the transportation is well organized and very efficient. Mr. Li the van driver was very sweet and kind.
The hotel room was nice and big and has very cozy carpet and a nice soft bed with good linens. Shower is hot and amenities in the room are thoughtful, including white tea scented 🫖 soaps and shampoo.
The breakfast, service, and furnishings are comparable to other 4 star chains in China like Holiday Inn or Hampton by Hilton or Lavande.
Breakfast has a nice spread but mostly Chinese and not so western. That said, the food they do provide is high quality and the noodles are great and the coffee is real. I enjoyed the breakfast.
⭐️A few negative points:
I liked the art theme in the hotel and they pull it off well. Each room is themed around a famous painting and I was in the Salvador Dali’s “melting clocks” ⏰
The only thing I can complain about is there are moments when the art feels a little cheesy. For instance- the little ash trays at the elevator with sand in them have kid’s decorations that feel a bit more like kids’ zone stuff than professional artwork. Also the shower 🚿 doors are red glass and that felt like more of a playful Kindergarten space than something matching Salvador Dali. Not a deal breaker but an observation. This kind of art theme can be difficult to pull off in China 🇨🇳.
The only other small negative is there is some wear on some of the spaces and walls. At the front desk counter I noticed some old looking and chipped areas of the desk.
Overall a great choice next to the airport. I would stay here again.

MM516831****This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The environment is beautiful and the service is excellent. First off, the room was spotless, and the lighting was comfortable and not harsh on the eyes. The bathroom also had a great wet/dry separation, which I really appreciate. Secondly, the breakfast was varied and nutritious, and you could even pack it to go. Since I was in a hurry in the morning, I just grabbed some food to eat on the way, which was super convenient. The hotel service was also great; all the staff were welcoming with smiles, and you can even store your luggage there. Thumbs up! 👍

ZZhenximeiyitian, xingfushifendouchulaideThe hotel management is very well-regulated! The service is prompt and efficient. For example, if you need an extra room key, more towels, or a few bottles of water, it's handled very quickly. The restaurant downstairs is accommodating and provides excellent, thoughtful service. There are many signature dishes that you won't find elsewhere, such as: 1. Hakka Rice Wine Steamed River Field Chicken; 2. Red Mushroom Rice Noodles; 3. Taro Dumplings, and many more. I highly recommend all guests savor the Hakka cuisine.

GGuest UserAs soon as we got off the car, the waiter helped us take our luggage and sent it to the room. The room was quite large, in good sanitary condition, with all kinds of facilities. The service attitude of the front desk staff was also very good. The breakfast was rich in variety, and there was an electric car to deliver it to the hotel gate. The hotel environment is very good, the geographical location is excellent, and it is very close to the ancient city of Zhangzhou. My mother and I are very satisfied with our stay and will choose to stay here again in the future.
JJoyuuuuuuThe environment is quite enchanting. Our room was on the outer perimeter, but unfortunately, there's a villa being built next door. It didn't affect us since we were out most of the day, but if you plan on relaxing in the room, it can get a bit noisy (though earplugs are provided in the room).
This hotel is great for those who enjoy morning runs or walks. You can use your room key to access the Chongyang Stream scenic trail by the river, offering beautiful mountain views. The hotel's breakfast buffet is really good, with a decent variety. You absolutely *must* try the lard noodles and Zixi noodles, loaded with toppings – they're super delicious! In the room, having two sinks is very convenient for two people, but a small detail to note: the inner rim of the washbasin area should be cleaned regularly to prevent mold. There's also a good selection of pillows to choose from, so you can find one that suits you. The hotel also offers some nice free experiences, like various handicraft workshops. We didn't try the travel photography though.
