Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.

Very distinctive banquet dinner, experienced the traditional Japanese tatami room, the hot spring is also great to enjoy.

Beautiful home and garden. Comfortable accommodations. Excellent food. Best part is the owner. She is so joyful!

Quiet & less touristy compared to Shirakawago. Quite a walk to Gassho Minshuku Nakaya from the bus stop, but owner was kind to offer us a car ride to the bus stop after we checked out. Overall very comfortable stay.

Much better than I imagined! The place was so clean, convenient, and the owner was incredibly friendly. A few insects were present, but nothing out of the ordinary—it was totally acceptable. The food was amazing. Although it mostly consisted of wild ingredients like river fish and unusual vegetables, I enjoyed every dish! Especially the grilled fish cooked over the irori—exactly what I had dreamed of experiencing! The bathroom was lovely too. I didn’t expect to relax in a hot tub, but I did! After a long day of hiking, soaking in the bath at the minshuku Goyomon was the perfect way to unwind. The village was so quiet that I felt safe strolling around alone at night. Cherry blossoms were in full bloom, even though patches of snow still remained on the ground—it was such a magical contrast. I didn’t expect they would accept credit cards—but they did! It made everything even more convenient. I truly wish I could stay there again with my family! Oh, and I met a French family who recommended a beautiful Gassho-style house to visit the next day. Since there were only two rooms available, we had the chance to get to know the other guests as well.

The environment is very good, the service attitude is also warm, and the hot spring ♨️ is very satisfied.

A 20-minute drive away from Shirakawa-go, the hotel facilities and services are okay, that is, there is no separate toilet in the room, only public toilets, there is a small hot spring bath, breakfast is very rich, and there is a Gassho in the opposite house.

The smell of tatami mats was very good (^^) It was a spacious and beautiful room that was too large to stay alone. I was a little worried that some hair had fallen in the corner of the room because it was too beautiful. It was good that the large communal bath was also wide 々. Open air Lu も Maximum でした (≧∀≦) I was happy to choose my favorite yukata. Breakfast was delicious and I was able to eat a lot! Miso soup was the best (^^) The view from the room was immaculate, but the night view from the corridor was the best (* ^ o ^ *) It is a hotel that I want to stay again.

きちんと清掃されており、とても気持ち良く宿泊出来ました。こだわりの湯呑み🍵なのでしょうね。とても感じ良く、お茶も美味しくホッと落ち着来ました。朝食セットでしたが、すり身味噌汁がとても美味しく、やはり氷見ならではと&美岬さんの自慢腕前お味噌汁、最高でした。 有難うございました。 今度は夕食朝食セットで宿泊したいです。

There is nothing to say about the scenery of the hotel. Take a boat trip all the way to enjoy the scenery, especially the red bridge on the reservoir after the snow. It is really invincible, even if it is in the cold wind, you must enjoy it on the top of the boat. However, the traffic that really needs to complain, according to the hotel's guidelines, the bus from Takaoka leaves only three or four times a day, and then has to take a full 56 stops. The air-conditioning on the car is not enough, and there is no place for luggage... It is really difficult.
