2 bus stops from Suwon Bus Terminal. But I was rejected by the bus driver to board the bus because of my luggage. It was a 10 minutes walk. Not as easy when you move around with luggage. Some pavements were bumpy.
The area is quiet and the hotel in some alleyways. Was a little scared walking by myself back to hotel at night.
I arrived early and the early check-in rates were KWR10,000 per hour, should I choose to check-in early.
Room was spacious. Though the lights in the shower auto switched off after 10-15 minutes. It happened twice, when I was soaking in the tub and when I was doing my make-up.
Had to rely on translation app to communicate with staff.
The ocean view is incredible. The room is also very spacious, one of the most spacious in its price range. It also comes with a microwave, refrigerator, washer, and dryer. The breakfast is also excellent, and it also offers ocean views. The pool also has a separate children's pool, but guests must pay separately. The pool has set hours, so reservations are required in advance.
Kim , Dain(김다인) who is front receptionist was very kind . She made us very comfortable during staying there. She's a excellent receptionist. And breakfast was so delicious. Chef was very nice man. We were very happy to stay there. Thank you hotel symphony.
I stayed at this hotel to go to a performance at Goyang Sports Complex.
The venue is about a 20-minute taxi ride away.
There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and I used the Pedal service so I had no trouble finding food even though I was alone.
However, it may not be the best place for shopping.
I went to Starfield Goyang, so it wasn't a problem.
I was a little concerned about the hotel's interior, as the walls were old and the towels looked a bit worn.
However, the staff were all so kind that it made up for that.
Some staff members are fluent in Japanese,
and even those who aren't were very kind, using the Papago.
I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was very comfortable. The service was excellent and the front desk was really helpful. The location is very convenient and close to the subway and bus stops. You can travel to the fortress and see the cherry blossoms in Spring.
It’s so hard trying to find a legit hotel and filter out those love motels that are just everywhere in Korea. This place is clean, professional and the service is great. Front desk will help you navigate taxis, airport transfers etc. Actually.. I don’t know if their English is any good… oh and bring or buy your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. They have their own but it’s pretty bad.
The hotel is super close to a massive department store which sits above the subway. AK plaza.
Valet parking available(valet is pretty standard in Korea and not a luxury service). Rooftop has a cage for practicing your golf swing. Fully fitted out gym not those paltry 2 running machines and 1 dumbbell ones you find in smaller hotels and free to use laundromat. Breakfast is okay and great if you need food early in the morning. Breakfast options nearby are limited to convenience store food and those egg toast things on the street for W5000.
Will stay here again.
The facilities were nice, and the staff were friendly. However, the bathroom floor is made of marble, so be careful because it's slippery. Other than that, I was satisfied with everything else, and I'd love to visit again next time I'm in the area.
Everything from the hotel is great including; staff, housekeeping, wifi, water system, location. I just find it hard to squeeze liquid out of soap, shampoo bottle tho😅
One thing that disturb my stay is that, those AHJUMMAS were so loud in the hall way, late at night and super early in the morning and sometimes were on the phone in front of my room. I can hear them clearly. Other than that, I would stay here again .. love it!!
I stayed here because it was close to the concert venue. It takes about 7 minutes from the station, but you can get there without using stairs, so it's safe even if you have luggage. The staff's service was simple, but not unpleasant at all. The room was very spacious, and there was a bathtub so I was able to warm up my whole body. Cleaning was done every day, so I was able to stay there very comfortably.

AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and quiet, the service attitude is very good. The hotel is in a great location, the breakfast is rich, and it is very close to the subway entrance. The price is affordable and highly recommended! Thank you Ctrip!
GGuest UserI have been staying here at Urbanstay in Dongtan for going on two months while waiting to move into an apartment. There is no cleaning service unless you request it a day in advance and pay 25,000 won. That alone was difficult as there is no check in desk. You are sent an email with your room number and door code
The bed was comfortable, there is a combo Washer/drier that works well. A large refrigerator and a microwave and cooktop although a sign on the wall says cooking meat or fish is forbidden. There is a tv but only a few channels with English language. No Netflix or any other movie channels.
There are personal products, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the shower and hand soap and facial wash at the bathroom sink. There are also dish soap and laundry soap available near the kitchen area sink
The temperature in the room is set by the hotel and can’t be changed. So there were days where I had to open the window which has pull down screens.
It has been a peaceful visit. The Lower lobby takes you out to a plaza and a shopping mall with a children’s playground. There is also a small self-serve convenience store on the Lower level as well as a robotic barista.
The main lobby contains a CU convenience store with just about anything you would need on your trip. Out the front door a short walk away are food options, a salad store, a Burger King, a Subway and a Paris Baguette
QQuintanaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the CIMA Hotel in Dongducheon, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and convenience, making it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the area.
The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, with modern furnishings and thoughtful amenities that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a good night's rest after long days of exploring. The spacious bathrooms, complete with high-quality toiletries, added a touch of luxury to the experience.
The location is another highlight. Situated conveniently near key attractions and transportation, CIMA Hotel is perfect for travelers looking to explore Dongducheon and its surroundings. It's also close to Camp Casey, which makes it an excellent option for military personnel and their families.
Additionally, the hotel's amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, an on-site café, and a well-equipped business center, cater perfectly to both leisure and business travelers.
I would highly recommend the CIMA Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and hospitable stay in Dongducheon. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
GGuest UserFormer Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it.
The lovely family run cafe in town: 886-5 Mokdong-ri, Buk-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
GGuest UserIt's perfect for families or even solo glamping if you want a serene and comfortable ”one with nature” type of experience. The glamping units is complete with camping seats for bonfire, kitchen utensils and grill for barbecues, heater for coffee or hot chocolate, microwave, refrigerator, toiletries, and even a mini projector for binge watching or just simply listening to music. There's also a hammock and some fairy lights outside the deck and a windchimes too! This site is on the mountain side so you need to walk for 15-20min from the highway but there's a roadway for cars. Make sure to bring your own food or do your grocery first before going to the site since there is no nearby convenience store. Sajangnim is very kind and gave us some free cup noodles, coffee, and bread. You can buy some wood for bonfires at the place (payment is via cash or bank transfer) and the kind Sajangnim even gave us free magic fire powder to make colorful bonfire~!
I definitely recommend this place and will comeback again here in the future!
GGuest UserA very satisfying trip. I hope the water in the refrigerator can be replenished faster. It is very clean and does not require too much attention. It is a very satisfying stay experience.
DDabeen Grace ChoiCompared to the surrounding area, this place was relatively newly built, and the price was reasonable. We had guests from overseas arriving and had an early appointment the next day, so we were able to enjoy a comfortable stay in the neighborhood. :) I hope your business prospers.
GGuest Userrecently stayed overnight at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how much it felt like a luxury hotel experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, making check-in smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed with thoughtful details that made the stay extra comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the linens felt premium, ensuring a restful sleep. The amenities were top-notch — from the modern bathroom fixtures to the high-quality toiletries, everything was designed with guest comfort in mind.
What stood out most was the overall service and attention to detail. The team went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, and the facilities provided a truly elevated experience. For just an overnight stay, it felt like I was treated to a luxury getaway.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value paired with excellent amenities and service. I will definitely return on my next visit.
6670TRAVELFor a last minute booking the hotel was very accommodating. I was a bit skeptical with the first impression of the lobby giving a very motel vibe, as I went to my floor I was quite surprised as the look of the hallway was quite different than what I expected. Entering my room, I felt a very cozy and welcoming feeling (keep in mind). I do live in an apartment in another city in South Korea so I am used to the layouts of Korea apartments and I can say that the room was more of a studio type room with furniture than a hotel which for makes it more homey. Entering the room, they already provide indoor slippers. The layout with table and chairs and sink (what used to be a cooking area) gives it the studio apartment feeling. Very spacious and open and the TV (huge) is bigger than what most 5 star elegant hotels have. The bidet is on point and shower is a modern concept. They also provide a transformer for those who require or have electronics that require 110v charge.
