The hotel staff were very friendly and I was very impressed.
It's close to the station and there are plenty of places to eat, which was great!
The room was spacious and clean.
It was nice that the toilet and shower room were separate, which is rare.
I liked it so much that I'd like to return again.
I thought the exterior lighting was beautiful, and the moment I opened the door to my room, a subtle fragrance seemed to take my mind off the day's fatigue.
I'm so grateful to the front desk staff for their kindness.
More importantly, the room was warm despite the cold weather, which helped me sleep soundly.
I booked through Trip.com, so they even gave me a cute eco-friendly bag as a gift. Even though it was only a one-night stay, it was still very touching.
I'll definitely book this place again on my next business trip.
The facilities are so-so and cleanliness is average, but the value for money is decent. I was shocked to find the bathroom door handle missing. There were no bathrobes, and only a few tissues left.
Our stay was good, but they could improve in terms of cleanliness... we found several dead bugs.
The breakfast could also be improved with more variety.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, perhaps the bottom sheet, which was made of plastic, is not a good idea...
So my review will be a bit complicated. Basically, the issues you read about on other reviews are legitimate, but the staff is very friendly and will do their best to take care of you and respond to any concerns.
My first room had a smoke smell, but they moved me to another room which was much better, and also had a bath which I was hoping for with my first room. To be honest, depending on the time of day, the smoke smell can be found in various parts of the hotel.
I also had an issue where a glass door on the bathroom was touching the floor and unable to be opened. They fixed this within a few hours.
The location is more convenient to travel by bus and then transfer to a subway. It is somewhat outside of Seoul so just be prepared for that. Otherwise, there is good shopping and food nearby without walking very far.
I think the fact that a hotel has problems is not bad if they take positive steps to fix it, and they did a good job of that during my trip. Based on that I would consider staying again.
Overall, it was clean and quiet at night. You could comfortably walk around barefoot, truly on par with a 5-star hotel! Due to environmental considerations, toiletries weren't provided. The front desk staff all spoke English and communication was very smooth, resolving any issues promptly. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and there was even a Chinese check-in guide, which was a thoughtful touch and absolutely wonderful!
Spent three nights here, overall good especially considering the price, just 10 min walk from the station, walking distance to all attractions
Self check in, no staff
Bed is nice, comfortable and clean, the bathroom is too but walls, bed's headboard and chair are incredibily dirty, clearly a mistake to get textured/cloth-covered walls and chairs because the stains are almost impossible to clean, the overall vibe of the room feels dirty even if it's clearly been cleaned (and floor, bed, bathroom are clean).
The scenery was so good. I knew there was nothing nearby. The hotel restaurant closed too early in the evening to taste the meal. I asked to change the pillow cover because it smelled like a cover, but it changed immediately. But the cover laundry is good, and it seemed that the pillow itself smelled. The room toilet was clean and nice.
It was really beautiful when the sunset was falling. I think it's a good place to rest ~
The price is reasonable and the space is spacious and there are many things set up, which is good. However, as the saying goes, even beads need to be strung to be valuable, so there are some regrets in the management.
The underground parking lot is really well-made, and the floor was so dirty that it was dirty to drag the carrier. If you sweep it with a broom and mop it, the floor should have been painted well, but they didn't do that.
Still, the cost-effectiveness is the best!!!
Very Good

Outstanding
GGuest UserFormer Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it.
The lovely family run cafe in town: 886-5 Mokdong-ri, Buk-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

GGuest UserSo basically this hotel is perfect for couples because you can sneak away from the family and have a good time and there’s so much privacy. It’s not even funny.
TTobim144The area around can be incredibly noisy, especially at night time, even up until 5 AM. If you're like me and like having the window open while sleeping, prepare to be waken up regularly by loud cars who think they are on the damn Nürburgring or people who like to yell/scream their lungs out at night for no reason. Pretty standard 40 bucks ish hotel for Korea.
GGuest Userrecently stayed overnight at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how much it felt like a luxury hotel experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, making check-in smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed with thoughtful details that made the stay extra comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the linens felt premium, ensuring a restful sleep. The amenities were top-notch — from the modern bathroom fixtures to the high-quality toiletries, everything was designed with guest comfort in mind.
What stood out most was the overall service and attention to detail. The team went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, and the facilities provided a truly elevated experience. For just an overnight stay, it felt like I was treated to a luxury getaway.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value paired with excellent amenities and service. I will definitely return on my next visit.
6670TRAVELFor a last minute booking the hotel was very accommodating. I was a bit skeptical with the first impression of the lobby giving a very motel vibe, as I went to my floor I was quite surprised as the look of the hallway was quite different than what I expected. Entering my room, I felt a very cozy and welcoming feeling (keep in mind). I do live in an apartment in another city in South Korea so I am used to the layouts of Korea apartments and I can say that the room was more of a studio type room with furniture than a hotel which for makes it more homey. Entering the room, they already provide indoor slippers. The layout with table and chairs and sink (what used to be a cooking area) gives it the studio apartment feeling. Very spacious and open and the TV (huge) is bigger than what most 5 star elegant hotels have. The bidet is on point and shower is a modern concept. They also provide a transformer for those who require or have electronics that require 110v charge.
BBENedictAlcaI had a very comfortable stay at KYND Hotel and was especially impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The complimentary coffee and water were a thoughtful touch, and the room amenities, including an LG clothes dryer, small fridge, and high-quality toiletries—made the stay even more convenient. Everything felt well-prepared for us, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bundang.
제제이드87I think the location was the biggest draw. It was conveniently located near the subway station, so there were a variety of shops, and the rooms on the higher floors had unobstructed views, so it wasn't stuffy. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. However, the TV remote had the batteries plugged in together, which at first I thought was broken. I'm not sure if it was to save batteries, but it was quite a surprise. ^^;; So I had no choice but to open the cable set-top box, and when I did, there was a snowy field of dust. It seemed they only cleaned the visible areas. The bathroom and toilet were impeccably cleaned. Considering it was a holiday, there wasn't much noise, with the exception of a crying baby. Hahaha.
The shower water pressure is a matter of personal preference. Perhaps because it's on the 18th floor, the water flow wasn't very powerful. On the other hand, the sink and toilet water pressure were good. Overall, it wasn't bad, so I would definitely visit again.
