I want to loudly recommend this hotel! I loved it so much!!
First, the location is incredibly convenient. It's within a 5-minute walk of Yokohama Station, a major transportation hub, making it easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, convenience stores, and even a well-stocked drugstore right downstairs.
Secondly, the hotel staff are amazing. They patiently answered all my questions, and their kindness was incredibly heartwarming, I was truly touched.
At the front desk, you can help yourself to tea bags, coffee, and toiletries. They're all from well-known brands and are very good quality.
Moreover, the room is very spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The toilet is fully automatic, and even the hand soap is from POLA, which is fantastic. The shower gel and shampoo also smell and feel wonderful.
They provide complimentary bottled water daily, which many hotels in Japan at a similar price point don't even offer.
I'm a Richmond fan, and next time I come to Yokohama, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again!
Check-out is self-service and super fast. When I left, I told the front desk lady I'd be back, and she bowed to me for quite a long time – I almost teared up, seriously!
The price is also very reasonable. Love Trip.com!
Had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, letting me store my luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The breakfast spread was also very generous. The hotel environment was clean and hygienic, and it even had a washing machine. Its location, very close to Fujisawa Station, was super convenient. Next time I'm in Kamakura, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. Good job! 🤙🤙🤙
High cost / performance hotel worthy visiting near the US Navy basement and shopping mall Alone. So you can stay there go sight seeing well and eating well. Highly recommend if you can accept to spend a little longer transportation time. Stay at yokoshuka better than stay in the downtown.
The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the South Exit of JR Ofuna Station, about a 2-minute walk. It's super easy to get to Enoshima from here as Ofuna is the starting station for the Shonan Monorail. They offer breakfast, though the selection is a bit limited – enough to fill you up, but not much more. You'll find drugstores and convenience stores nearby, which is very handy. JR Ofuna Station also has a Starbucks and is connected to a shopping mall with a Uniqlo on the 5th floor and MUJI on the 6th, so it’s easy to pick up daily essentials. There are plenty of dining options in the area, from Japanese to Western cuisine. The hotel also has a laundry room on the 2nd floor, costing 500 yen for wash and dry. The staff, both at the front desk and housekeeping, are incredibly polite.

Getting to the hotel involves a 4-stop subway ride from Yokohama Station to Isezakichōjamachi Station, which conveniently has an elevator. The front desk is on the second floor, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a staff member who spoke Chinese during check-in. Next to the front desk, there's a self-service area for toiletries including toothbrushes, combs, makeup remover oil, cotton pads, Q-tips, razors, earplugs, as well as coffee, black tea, and sencha bags. The room provides disposable slippers. Each floor also has an ice machine and a beverage vending machine. Downstairs, there's a Lawson, and across the street is a 7-Eleven; if you continue past the 7-Eleven, you'll find a supermarket. Turning left out of the hotel and walking straight for about 8 minutes will lead you to JR Kannai Station. The room itself is spacious; four suitcases fit comfortably without feeling cramped. The hotel breakfast was decent, and it wasn't overly crowded. The shrimp dumplings and siu mai were quite good.
The room was absolutely tiny, maybe only 3 square meters. There wasn't even enough space to properly open my luggage. This has to be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in – I was truly taken aback by how incredibly compact it was. To make matters worse, it was located in the basement, which made it feel stuffy and humid. While the air conditioning offered a bit of relief, it certainly didn't make the room comfortable.

This is a great hotel, perfectly situated right next to Gora Station, which makes it incredibly convenient. Our quad room was clean and comfortable, perfect for families with two children. The hotel's hot spring (onsen) was also excellent; a soak there really helped to wash away the fatigue from sightseeing. The breakfast was quite varied and plentiful, including all the staple Western breakfast options. The only downside was the lack of dinner options nearby. There was only one casual Western restaurant in the vicinity, but its quality really went downhill when it got busy.

Finally, I stayed in a Japanese-style room. I'd only seen it on TV before, so it was a novelty. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, and several spoke Chinese. The hotel is in a great location, with direct bus access, which is crucial. This area is navigating mountain roads, and trekking there would be quite tiring if the bus stop was far away. I also enjoyed the hot springs. This must be a local resort, as I saw many locals driving there. As for the kaiseki meal I ordered, it depends on personal taste; I wasn't a huge fan. However, I did enjoy the Japanese breakfast the next day. I had originally planned to book a two-day stay, but the second day was unavailable, so I only managed to book one night. So, I ended up visiting two attractions: the volcano cable car and the glass museum. Personally, I found the glass museum unremarkable and not worth seeing. Here's a tip for those who might be planning to visit later!

Very Good
AAnonymous UserWe booked a hot spring hotel on short notice and were very satisfied with it. We arrived early and could not check in until after 3:30 pm, but fortunately we could leave our luggage at the hotel. The staff helped us make the bed when we were having dinner in the evening. There was a rich variety of dinner, but we didn’t really like the side dishes. It would have been better if the side dishes were replaced with sashimi. We even had a surprise dessert after the meal, which made us very happy. The breakfast the next day was also very filling and delicious. The experience is very good and recommended for staying.
SSean KhooNice historical Ryokan, hospitality is their highlight. Very nice food. Spent some time in their private onsen, it was great. One of the surprise is the Zen room, relaxing environment and I slept on the massage chair simply because it’s too comfortable.
Nice experience overall!
三三宅鳥I stayed here the night before going to the Oiso green pigeon habitat. It was relatively close to Chigasaki Station and in a conspicuous location, so I was able to check in quickly. The lobby was clean and the check-in procedure was easy to understand. I checked out without breakfast because I had to get up early in the morning. The rooms were clean and bright, so I was able to relax. The only disappointment was that there were not many coin laundry facilities compared to the size of the hotel.
SShiori SCThe hotel is located next to the JR station and opposite the Keikyu Station. Whether going to the airport or to Tokyo or Yokohama, transportation is very convenient. The counter staff are friendly and polite. There are free coffee machines and tea bags available for use. There are a wide variety of personal packaging cleaning and maintenance products, including cotton swabs and hair ties, and there are four types of bath powder to choose from. The room is clean and comfortable. The 25-inch and 29-inch suitcases can be fully opened and laid flat. The TV screen is much larger than other business hotels. The hot water temperature in the bathroom is stable and the water pressure is normal. It is impeccable and can be included in the frequently used list.
KkitekidThe exterior is in the style of a simple European manor, and the interior should have been renovated in recent years. The key is a traditional key with a long plexiglass room card, which is very impressive.
There is a natural hot spring private bath, where you can enjoy the view on the hillside. There are massage chairs, TVs, etc. in the bathing and changing lounge area for you to rest and cool down before returning to the room. The service is very considerate.
The breakfast is a Western set meal, which is exquisite and can be eaten as a breakfast. The restaurant faces the hillside and the scenery is invincible.
We arrived very late, and the front desk was also very friendly.
The front desk was also very friendly during the day, and they responded to every request. Luggage can be stored.
The bed and tatami are very good, and the quilt is a duck down quilt, which makes you sleep very comfortably at night.
The disadvantage is that you have to climb a slope to leave ”Gora”. There is a car to pick you up at 18:00 in the evening, so you can only climb if it's late. It's closer to ”Park Shang” and there is not such a big slope, but there is still a car at 22:00 on the mountain climbing line to ”Gora”, and there seems to be no car at 18:00 on the traction railway to ”Park Shang”. If you go late, you can only climb or take a taxi. We checked in late, so we only enjoyed the service of being sent to Gora after checking out.
GGuest UserWe got to the hotel in the beautiful location just before 3pm and we got given a little tour of the place and then got shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and do their best to speak English. A lovely lady was in charge of our hospitality throughout our stay and she first showed us that there is a public hot spring and a private hot spring and asked us if we would like to book a time to use the private hot spring, we booked a time as we checked in but then we didn’t use it as we were happy with our private hot spring in the room. We also booked a time for dinner and they arrived at that time
Promptly with A LOT of food. We also got a choice for a staple food and we chose some steak which was high quality and delicious, as well as the lobster (on the menu it said grilled prawn but a lobster is what came and it was delicious). We ordered a few beers and a bottle of wine with room service and it always came quickly and was nice and cold.
The private hot spring is absolutely boiling but it’s a good experience and there’s ice water provided which helps.
Breakfast came at 8.30am and it was also huge! It didn’t come with coffee but I ordered some and that was easy enough.
The lady who served our food explained every dish and how to eat it and she was always extremely friendly and attentive.
Would recommend!
DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
AAnonymous UserNice hotel👍🏻friendly staff
Cozy little room—small by Tokyo standards but stocked with everything you need. The peaceful, clean surroundings make it perfect for unwinding after a busy day.Location couldn’t be better: there’s a convenience store right downstairs, and you’re just a short ride from all the major sights. Friendly staff who go the extra mile.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the subway station. The room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive, and the breakfast is good. However, the room is a bit small. It is very convenient to get to the tourist attractions and is suitable for solo travelers.
