This hotel is a real gem! The room was spotless, the sheets and pillowcases had no strange odors, and there wasn't even a speck of dust in the bathroom corners – it felt so reassuring to stay there. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet; she processed our check-in quickly and even proactively recommended local eateries and transportation options, which was super thoughtful! The facilities are new: the AC cools down fast, the WiFi is strong, and the mattress was just right, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is absolutely perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar Metro Station, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!
My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage.
Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns).
For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials.
Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

This is the ceiling of the guesthouse I've ever stayed in 😁. Clean, tidy, and comfortable with heating throughout—it truly felt like home. The host was very friendly and knew how to enjoy life; they even boiled eggs and baked naan for us in the morning, making us feel warm and welcome during our trip. It's also very close to Baxing Street. I was extremely satisfied! I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Yining. ...Pictures attached!

Everything was pretty good. Although it's a bit far from the airport, the return trip was smooth since it was a Saturday—it took less than half an hour to get there. There are some steep steps at the entrance, but the staff helped with the luggage. The front desk was great, the room was spacious and clean, and there’s a laundry room. Definitely worth it.

Exceeded my expectations, thumbs up! 👍 It's been a while since I last stayed at an Ibis, and I was pleasantly surprised that this one not only maintained the brand's usual standards but also managed to improve upon them.
1️⃣ **Hotel Design:** From the lobby to the rooms, the design is cleverly thought out. There are some unique touches that cater to guest needs while maintaining a minimalist business style, and the color scheme is outstanding.
2️⃣ **Staff:** All the staff members are really nice.
3️⃣ **Location:** Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Turpan North Station. It's super convenient to arrange car pickups/drop-offs for tours to the scenic spots. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. Visiting Turpan in the summer means early starts and late returns, so staying at a hotel like this to escape the midday heat is a fantastic idea.
The environment is good, the room is big, the front desk is very friendly and enthusiastic, and they solve the problem quickly. The only drawback is that it is very close to the train station, and the train whistle is a bit noisy at night. The air conditioner has a bit of smell

The homestay is very clean and tidy. Although it is semi-underground, there is no discomfort. The facilities are complete and the room is clean. The service attitude is good, and they helped me book a special car to the airport for free. It is only a dozen minutes' walk from Liuxing Street. There are various foods around it and it is not far from the farmers' market.
The room is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom sink is separated into dry and wet areas and has no odor. The service is very thoughtful. The beautiful lady at the front desk is very thoughtful and provides help within her ability. The room attendant is careful and timely. The facilities are complete, but the room is not big enough for turnover.
Downstairs, you can take the car to Sailimu Lake very convenient, close to the train station (no accommodation near the train station). The fruit shops and restaurants next to it are very good, and you don't have to go far to solve the needs of life.

22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!
GGuest UserWe had a fabulous time at this hotel in Tashkurgan! The room was spotless and we have a view of the snow capped mountains. Lovely sleep and it was equipped with everything we need. Also had dinner in the hotel, which was really good, with special tea on the house. There was also a whole box of dried fruits and a lovely note to welcome us in the room.
The best part of the stay was the photography tour to Golden Grassland to see sunrise, which the guesthouse arranged for any guests who are interested with their lovely staff. Najia came with us and he taught us how to capture the perfect shot and helped us take many gorgeous photos too!! Also, I was caught in the rain in town and when I text the hotel for help, Qiaojie kindly drove over to pick me up!!
Breakfast in the morning was a very good spread, and when the coffee machine ran out, the lovely receptionist Guli made me a special cup from the restaurant.
There were also oxygen tubes available in the room for whomever that needed it (we didn’t at all). Overall it was a really really wonderful stay, the hotel is a short walk to the Main Street but I must say the 5 stars are for the super friendly helpful and warm staff and we would totally recommend this hotel to anyone coming through Tashkurgan!
CChina TravellerPerfect location above the lively old town main food street with nicely decorated, spacious rooms and a balcony where it is easy to relax and people watch on the street below. Fast WiFi too, and a powerful aircon unit. Definitely recommended. We liked it so much we returned for a second, longer stay. (Note that being in the pedestrian-only old city you can’t drive directly to the hotel but it’s only 5 minutes walk from the nearest taxi drop-off and about 10 minutes walk from public parking.)
SSyed AnoshI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. They even provided a convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the airport, which made my travel experience much easier. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment after a long journey. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and thoughtful amenities.
__M1356712****The room was huge, located in Xincun. There were bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, but they had a strong odor; they really should add some air fresheners. Breakfast offered about a dozen items. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Hemu Villa, and the driver was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle drops you off about 300 meters away. The front desk staff, however, were very cold and lacked any service awareness. They wouldn't respond to my WeChat messages about anything other than checking in. It was quite frustrating, to be honest. To get to the old village, you need to take the scenic area shuttle for three stops. The old village is much livelier and has more dining options.
GGuest UserVery good service by the receptionist. They are very helpful and have good smile. Overall i am very satisfied with my stay here. Will definitely come back again!
GGuest UserAfter landing in Kashgar, I had a happy day of playing. At night, I suddenly developed acute gastritis. The Uyghur girl named Zuli at the front desk accompanied me to the hospital for examination and prescription until after three in the morning. I really felt the feeling of home. The strange city, strange people, and cold night made my heart feel warm. It turned out that more than 3,000 kilometers away from home, there were still people lighting flashlights for me. ”She could have just called a taxi for me, but she treated me, a stranger, as a family member.” Huazhu is highly recommended!
GGuest UserPerfect location to enjoy scenery around this homestay. It locates near Bai Lin Hua (Birch Forest). The homestay owner is super friendly and helpful, as we are foreigners and we do not speak Chinese at all. Their amenities are full of premium stuff such as giveaway sunscreen good brand etc. We were served with nice breakfast quality.
Additionally, the homestay owner let us lend the eletric motor bike to ride around the Hemu Village. This was superb because we can fully explore the village like local people do and could visit all of highlights. Worth to stay here!
