4-Star Hotels in Beja District, Portugal

Location is good if you travel by car because of free parking and it's 15-20 min walking to the town center (3-5 min by car). The room was quite big and in pretty good conditions. But there weren't some amenities you expect in a 4 star hotel like slippers, bathrobe or kettle/coffeemaker. Bed and pillows were good. Buffet breakfast was typical (cheeses, hams, eggs, cereals, pastries, fruits) except for lack of vegetables. If you don't want to have an unexpected visit of a housemaid at 9-10 o'clock in the morning (without _any_ warnings like knocking on door or questions) use ”do not disturb” sign!

We enjoyed beautiful views and a spacious, very clean room. The hotel has shared facilities with its sister hotel in the complex, for a kid playground/ club and a spa. Although we didn’t make use of it. Staff, although not always easily communicating in English, were very nice and happy to help! Some improvement can be done in making the room a bit more cozy. For example adding coffee machine or some welcome sweets, as we have experienced in previous stays elsewhere in the area . Breakfast can be also a bit more varied and better presented, especially when staying for few nights. Pl

Great view of the bay. Nice room. Unfortunately the bathroom was older with obvious signs of wear but still very clean. Very nice reception at check-in. Good breakfast. Unfortunately it was very stressful for us as there were a lot of large groups there...

A very quiet accommodation, ideal for anyone who likes to rest and be close to some of the most beautiful beaches of the Alentejan coast. The decoration of the spaces is very beautiful, from some ancient elements of the history of the property, through some artworks made by the family. The breakfast is varied and fresh ingredients, the only thing to point out is the need to be the guests to press the oranges to make juice. The rooms with a electric chassis to make tea and coffee would also be more valuable.

The location of arrival looks pretty.  Rooms are very spacious but sober. 2-persoons bed not top.  The swimming pool was not allowed to go in, not clean. Seating kiss beds at the pool was dirty. No parasols (it was warm). Personal very nice, breakfast good and much. But waste glory for us.

Herdade do Touril é o que se espera de um turismo mais rural mas ainda assim com todo o conforto. Por onde começar? Casas amorosas e bem decoradas, sem grandes pretensões. Modernidade com simplicidade. Camas confortáveis; boa localização; estacionamento; simpatia no atendimento; oportunidade de ir a pé ou de bicicleta até a uma vista deslumbrante sobre a costa; o restaurante é de enorme qualidade com produtos da herdade...  os peixinhos da horta são de comer e gritar por mais 😌 O pequeno almoço é bom e a playlist da música ambiente também é de elogiar! Espaço maravilhoso para ir descansar, estar na piscina de água salgada e aquecida, ler um livro, passar pelos animais que ali espreitam por vezes... enfim, uma experiência muito agradável para quem procura sentir paz. Recomendo!

In the evening, the road up the mountain was rugged, and after getting off the bus, I heard the sobbing of the wolf. The hotel is unmanned and the lights are faint and dim. Because there are very few people in winter. Contact the owner to check in quickly. The facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and emotional, and the doors and windows are safe and reliable. After the lock, no human or beast can enter. Firefighters can break through the window. Get up early and the sun is shining. The store is thoughtful and rich in the morning. Suggestion: more than two people come for vacation and arrive during the day. Quiet, sunny and clear space is my own gift here. Friends who like to lively should consider carefully
