My hubby & i arrived past 10pm for check in. Checking in was not easy as I forgot my credit card & d front desk girl w/ an Eastern Europe accent said that she can’t check me in unless i present a credit card for a $100 deposit + resort fees. I said I paid for d room already but she won’t hear of it unless i present a cred.card. My friend volunteered to use her card for security deposit. Checked out early AM before 7am with Pramila & Anshu behind d desk to help. I informed Pramila of my cc situation & she was just so pleasantly helpful to facilitate d things i need for my upcoming check in in d next 3days. Pramila made my day. I wish there are more enployees like her who’s willing to go above & beyond her work to help a stressed senior tourist. I am also lucky to have a dear friend to come to d rescue. All’s well that ends well. God bless Pramila.

They only serve breakfast and dinner if you are dining in the hotel. Food and service is good. If you are looking to just stay and travel out around and just come back to a place to stay, this hotel is considerably reasonable.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. We took public transport from the airport, and it was just a 6-minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant street view from the window. What really impressed us was that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. They were incredibly welcoming and provided detailed recommendations for sightseeing and essential tips for exploring Vancouver independently. Absolutely fantastic!

We had an evening arrival flight and arrived at the hotel close to midnight. The lady at checkin counter was not in good mood and not very friendly. The next day happened to be the Canada national holiday and the concierge seems to be busy. His manner is even worse and not very happy working on a holiday obviously. My question is very simple like what to do as a new comer in the city on this national holiday and his answer even much simpler. Both had poker faces and not very friendly and not willing to answer questions.

Downstairs is the commercial street of the resort, the busiest section. It only takes 2 minutes to get to Lululemon. It's only 3 minutes to the nearest cable car. So the location is great! Parking costs 34 Canadian dollars a night. I looked outside and it was cheaper than the Marriott Hotel next door and even cheaper than the PayByPhone on the roadside. I heard from a book that you can't park on the roadside in the town because you have to clear the snow. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I didn't want to park my car outdoors because it was snowing, so I accepted it. As a result, I circled the parking lot of the wine list twice and couldn't find a parking space. I called the front desk, and the front desk said that maybe all the check-out people will leave at night, so there will be vacancies. But in fact, there was no such thing. When I went to get something from the car at night, I saw cars circling around looking for a space. I was forced to park in the Small Car space (my car is Sienna). Moreover, the parking lot is close to the elevator room, which is a garbage collection room. When you pass by, you will smell an extremely disgusting odor. The M floor of the hotel elevator is the commercial street, which is very convenient. The passage next to the front desk in the lobby leads to a western restaurant. The food is good and the price is reasonable, but you may have to wait for a table during peak meal times. The most unsatisfactory thing is that I found out that my daughter brought her own charger and forgot to take it after I left the hotel. So I told the hotel about the situation on the hotel website. But maybe no one on their official website cares about it, so no one ever contacted us. So we called directly to inform them, and the hotel left their contact information and said they would go and check. Two days later, they replied that the person who cleaned the room did not hand in the charger. I said, is it still plugged into the wall? They said they would go and check. Until a few days later, our friend checked into the hotel again and asked about this for us, they still said they would go and check. After 40 minutes, they told my friend that they didn't find it. Frankly speaking, compared to the room rate, the charger can be said to be the money for a box of tissues inside. The hotel did not offer any compensation, so I thought they were honest and felt that there would be no compensation if it was not their fault. But in this communication process, we were really very dissatisfied! Their work attitude is completely unworthy of such a high room rate. How to say it? ! Just like Hainan Island, no matter how bad the service is, you can't be blacklisted because of the unique natural resources. Maybe this is the nature of hotels in foreign countries. Let's just be normal.

The receptionists, bellboy, and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay a lot. Location is centralized - just few steps from the Whistler village and gondola. Summit sport was right there - easy to rent and valet the skis/snowboards. The spa was amazing. Cameron is good at what he does. The hot tubs and heated pool were my kids highlight. We enjoyed it esp after a long day of skiing/boarding. Parking is safe - easy and convenient to load and offload. Would love to come back again!

This Faremont is located inside the airport, at the departure level between the domestic and international terminals. The bathroom is very well designed and equipped with a bathtub, shower area, and separate toilet. The mattress well supported my back, and we had a sounded evening. The window view is the runway. We can see the plane taking off and landing. We enjoy staying this hotel so much

MMillennial_saysWe stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

GGuest UserBlack Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse. It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino. Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony. I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

GGuest UserTop notch service. Corner suite on the 6th floor had a killer view of the harbor and parliament building. Walking distance from restaurant and the BC museum. Really appreciated having a sitting space separate from the bedroom.  Everything was very nice but room not newly remodeled.  Nonetheless,  looking forward to an opportunity to stay there again.  Major flaw was the pool, sauna area was part of an attached gym. Not the spa experience I had hoped for.

WWEN HUIVery short stay, but everything was friendly. Hotel's room is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They also offer a free airport shuttle service. You can book a shuttle by email before arriving at the airport, or contact the hotel using the toll-free number in the airport shuttle area after arriving at Vancouver International Airport. The only drawback is the desk and bedside tables in the room. The tops are attached to the legs by four bolts. These protruding bolts leave insufficient flat surface for books, laptops, or backpacks. I suggest the hotel replace these impractical desks and bedside tables. Besides, the hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to the SkyTrain station and there are many restaurants nearby. Especially, the food court at ”Richmond Centre” which is nearby this hotel primarily serves Asian cuisine, so you won't feel homesick.
