New Hotels in Hangzhou

"Had a lovely stay at Atour - a special mention to the front desk staff who were especially kind and hospitable. We had purchased multiple packages from taobao and they assisted us patiently to retrieve the packages :) Location wise, this is a stone’s throw away from Kerry Centre (it’s great here as it’s not as crowded as the main tourist attraction). Also about 10 mins walk away from the West Lake, and Long Xiang Qiao Station (which is where In77 mall is located). Overall, location was excellent - only catch is that private hire cars can’t drop you directly at the hotel entrance due to traffic restrictions. The room was great - very comfortable size and cleanliness was amazing! Laundry was great as the staff helped us to do laundry (washing and drying), and hung the fresh laundry at our door when it was completed. Overall, an amazing stay and we will be back should we come back to Hang Zhou."

"Highly recommend! The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, with all facilities fully equipped. The decor also looked very new. In particular, the lady at the front desk provided excellent service. I arrived early on the day of my reservation, before check-in time, and after inquiring if there were available rooms, she kindly allowed me to check in early for free. Plus, the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and only one stop away from the airport, making travel very convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I'm in Hangzhou! 🥳"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Zhejiang University and the botanical garden, plus it has an underground parking garage. The hotel has a French-style decor, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive, even giving us a complimentary room upgrade. The laundry room on the 3rd floor was a lifesaver for changing clothes during the hot summer. The hotel truly shows its commitment to thoughtful service in every detail. I'll definitely choose Mercure again next time I'm in Hangzhou!"

"The soundproofing in the room is really, really poor. I could still hear people talking next door in the early hours of the morning. The location is quite good though, and the cleaning staff were very friendly and provided great service. One thing I'd like to mention is that when we checked in in the afternoon, we had to wait a long time for the room to be cleaned and ready. I think efficiency in this area could be improved, as we were already tired from traveling and just wanted to settle in quickly. Waiting so long was a bit of a negative experience. However, the front desk ladies were all very responsible. Even though they might have been fishing for good reviews when we left, their service attitude was genuinely good. This is absolutely my most honest review. Another point is that the laundry room staff were also very dedicated. The laundry is located on the fifth floor, which is a bit inconvenient to do laundry – you have to go up and down to wash and then dry your clothes. But overall, the service staff are quite good. Also, as someone with quite severe mysophobia, the toilet in the bathroom really needs more attention. Hair underneath the toilet lid or seat is something I really can't stand. They really need to pay more attention to cleanliness themselves. Other than that, there's nothing else. Pay attention to the details, and I believe the hotel will improve even further. And regarding the soundproofing, maybe guests could be asked about their preferences, for example, if they prefer a corner room, a quiet room, or a room closer to the elevator for convenience, and then arrange the room accordingly. I think improving these small details would make a big difference."

"The hotel's design style is great. The front desk proactively upgraded our room, and the view was fantastic. The location is also very convenient, with two large shopping malls nearby and close proximity to City Balcony. It offers excellent value for money. The breakfast could use some improvement, though. One rather unusual incident: I accidentally spilled a drink in the room. After using a bath towel to clean the floor, the towel had a stain. At checkout, we were charged a 50 RMB deep cleaning fee. While we respect the hotel's policies, I've honestly never encountered a similar charge at any other hotel."

"The front desk staff was super friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was quite new, and the scent was lovely. It was convenient that Didi (ride-sharing service) could stop right at the entrance. When I needed more hangers for laundry at night, the front desk sent them up very quickly. At checkout, I noticed they had afternoon tea, so I grabbed a takeaway box for myself."

"The room facilities are excellent and very smart, making for an overall comfortable stay. The bedding is soft, and they provide two different shaped pillows, which is great for various guests. I'd give it a five-star rating. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around; it's very close to Lingyin Temple and West Lake."

"This hotel apartment is really close to the East Station – just a short walk after exiting, which is super convenient for anyone catching a high-speed train! The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. There's a convenience store downstairs for easy shopping, and a Vientiane City Mall right across the street with plenty of food options. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm traveling by train. Five stars!"

"The hotel's overall design concept and decor are incredibly cohesive. From the 3D printed patterns on each room door to the decorations on the elevator doors, the minimalist yet profound design beautifully showcases Chinese aesthetics – just right, not too much, not too little. The tea-tasting experience before check-in is a truly unique touch. However, it could be improved by allowing guests to sit and finish their tea after receiving it before proceeding. Rushing through the tea and moving on quickly detracts from the initial ambiance of entering the lobby. Perhaps staff could introduce the origin of the tea and explain its cultural significance. This would allow guests to immerse themselves more deeply in the concept that Ji Hotel Grand View aims to convey, creating a more connected and enriching experience once they open their room door. The hotel's attention to detail is also excellent. The self-service laundry room is incredibly practical, featuring professional washers and dryers that automatically dispense detergent – no need to add your own! There are plenty of machines available, so guests can pick up their laundry right after washing. The clothes come out smelling wonderful – I highly recommend it! For dining, the breakfast buffet ingredients are very fresh, and the food presentation is outstanding. There's a wide variety of nutritious options, and the freshly squeezed juices are meticulously bottled individually. Each table also has a hot teapot, a very thoughtful design. The quality of the fruit is also excellent! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be back!"
