Hot Springs Hotels in Shanghai

This was a fantastic guesthouse experience. The environment was elegant, and the rooms were fully equipped and comfortable. Having underfloor heating in Shanghai during winter was especially wonderful. The two-story guesthouse provided ample space for three adults and two children, and there was even a small private courtyard where we could enjoy the fresh country air. The owner and staff were incredibly hospitable and provided attentive service, making it a truly heartwarming experience. Upon seeing the children, they took them to pick vegetables, provided fishing rods, and even set off fireworks for them in the evening – things you can't experience within the outer ring road! There are also many places to visit nearby: strawberry picking, Zhouzhuang, Jinxi, Qingxi Country Park, etc. Thank you again to everyone at the guesthouse for their warm hospitality; we'll definitely come back next time.

The hotel is located in a villa area with free parking spaces. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. You can see that the owner has put a lot of effort into it. It has a Santorini style. The hygiene and facilities are top-notch. The swimming pool water is changed every day. In addition, the owner's son also provides water fight service, hahahaha

I originally planned to celebrate my birthday at Bulgari, but with the cold weather, I really wanted a private hot spring. Traveling out of town felt a bit too far, so I decided on a relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay closer to home. I contacted the hotel in advance, and they confirmed they'd try their best to accommodate an upgrade if a room was available. On the day of check-in, I received a WeChat message from the front desk around noon, confirming my upgraded room. They even did a simple birthday decoration and sent afternoon tea, which made me very happy. I'm someone who loves staying in the hotel, enjoying the food and comfort without going out. So, this place was absolutely perfect for me. I brought my own kimono for photos, but if you don't have one, the guesthouse offers rentals at a reasonable price, and the kimonos are lovely. The sticky rice Pu'er tea offered here is also very much to a woman's liking. Spending the afternoon sipping tea, eating some fruit, soaking in the outdoor hot spring, and chatting was super relaxing. I was fortunate to meet Yu Tong, the manager, during dinner. Her service attitude was fantastic, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The prices were very reasonable and approachable. I even ordered their Chongming cuisine for the next day, which was also delicious. The next day, I couldn't resist – after lunch, I ordered two more plates of BBQ. Paired with some wine and good company, it was incredibly enjoyable. In my opinion, any establishment that is willing to solicit customer feedback is truly commendable. All my requests during this stay were met, and communication was excellent. The experience at such a high-end guesthouse honestly surpasses some five-star hotels. I'll definitely be a frequent guest in the future.

The place is close to Ueno and Pudong Airport, the environment is good, the service attitude of the front desk lady is good, the room is clean and hygienic, and a plate of fruit is given. If there is any problem, it will be solved in time. The room has an independent small yard, and it feels very comfortable to live in. The next day on the way to the airport, I found that the earphones fell off. I contacted the front desk lady and she immediately helped me find it, and then sent it back by express. I will come again next time

The overall stay was absolutely fantastic, with super-excellent service and a wonderful environment. I only regret not bringing my kids and family along; they were so excited after seeing it in a video call and specifically asked me to bring them next time. Coming here to relax during the May Day holiday was definitely the best decision I made. Grateful for the thoughtfulness and care from all the hotel staff. Hope to see you again next time!

After returning from Kyoto, I've been searching for a good hot spring resort in the Yangtze River Delta region. I first saw 御宿和庭 (Yushuku Watani) recommended on Dianping, and my stay there truly was a five-star experience. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, and it boasts a beautiful garden landscape. The front desk service and hotel activities are exceptionally thoughtful, with various engaging small activities like handicrafts and sound healing meditation sessions. The hotel doesn't cut corners; the private hot spring tubs are very spacious, and you can even choose different types of springs. The mini-fridge is restocked daily with three soft drinks, and the hair dryer is a Laifen, which works incredibly well. Yukata are also provided, and the bedding is unbelievably comfortable – once you lie down, you simply can't bear to get up. The hotel's breakfast and lunch are also noteworthy. All in all, these two days have been one of the best, if not *the* best, hotel stays I've had in Shanghai.

Sun Island is an established resort, perfect for family trips. All facilities are well-equipped, and the customer service is attentive. Kids can enjoy horse riding in the morning, feeding animals from the mini-train at noon, splashing around at the water park in the afternoon, and playing various indoor games at the club in the evening or when it rains. There are activities for every time of day, ensuring a fun experience. A bonus we discovered is that even adults can rent lure fishing equipment and enjoy a relaxed fishing session with no prior experience needed. Overall, it was a pretty good recreational experience!

My overall experience during this stay far exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the thoughtful service at check-out, every detail showed the hotel's commitment to quality. Whether for business or leisure, this place offers a comfortable and personalized experience. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and efficient, proactively informing me about hotel facilities and local attractions. Room service was prompt and truly made me feel cared for. An excellent experience all around!

This hotel offers incredible value for money! I was surprised to find a pool and hot springs, and the room was quite spacious. While the immediate area isn't super convenient, ordering food delivery was easy, and the robot delivery was quick. The environment is absolutely lovely – surrounded by lush greenery, and the entire complex is very quiet. It was a fantastic staycation. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast could be better, and you have to pay upfront if you want to add it, you can't charge it to your room, which isn't very convenient. Finally, a big thank you to the hotel for the room upgrade, which really helped with accommodating my older child.

The hotel room facilities are good, with everything that should be there. The smoking area outside is also very beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this
