Overall great experience. Great location and amenities. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast options. Friendly staff. A little bit of air con noise and bed is a bit on the firm side but tolerable. We stayed in a family room and it would be great to have a children’s stepping stool for washing hands etc. Also make sure you bring enough clothes. Laundry service is very expensive and takes 2 days on average.

Stayed here for 1 night. When we first checked in, the hotel had a smoke smell, requested for a change and lucky the hotel was able to change for us Hotel bed is very comfortable! One of the most comfortable hotel I have been too. Room is spacious and big. The hotel have very nice decoration and it is very new. One thing to improve is probably housekeeping, we found a a small tiny fake eyelashes sticked to the wall. Location is about 1 street away from mrt station, 5mins walk.

The location is very prime and near lots of eateries. although the exterior has a bit of a rough vibe, the lobby also is a bus station so it not those fancy entry lobby. Hotel rooms are located on a old building 2nd / 3rd floors but is retrofitted. The interiors is ecletic but functional. Would be better if the closet area was wider so a suitcase can be placed. One of the supervisor lady is excellent, even helped me with my heavy suitcase when I was departing for airport to ensure I can get my ride properly.

Last minute booking cause we weren’t happy with the original hotel. No regrets at all! Should have stayed here from day 1 itself! Hotel is at The Bund itself, with a great view as soon as you step outside. Room is spacious and clean with all the amenities, and more than enough water from the start. Service staff is great, they allowed us to extend our checkout time. Hotel breakfast has a wide spread and the late night porridge was good. Would recommend this hotel for anyone who visits Shanghai!

Hotel location is the best of best. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel gate and visitors spots are very near, we satisfied with environment. All staff are so kind even they used translation apps to communicate with non-chinese speakers. One thing that we can't say excellent is weak cigarette smell is really faint whole room. I guess it's coming by bathroom ventilation.. however if we have another chance to visit Shanghai, we will book this hotel again!

Front Office Service was great! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist greeted us with a warm smile and promptly checked us in. They were very attentive to our needs, providing useful information about the hotel facilities and local attractions. I last stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, when it was still named ”Regal International East Asia Hotel”. 10 years later, when I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel again, I was surprised that the hotel was more or less kept as the same, with a similar classy style and decor. Even the rooms looked the same! Although they were probably never renovated, the fixtures and fittings were kept in very good condition and the beds comfortable. It is located in a very classy and laid back part of Xujiahui, Shanghai which was part of the former french concession. I had a good stroll down Hengshan Road, and found that while it was tree-lined and as pretty as ever, there were more cafes and malls there now. The location is also very convenient, a short stroll away from Wukang Building, 5 mins walk to Hengshan Road station and 15mins drive from the bund. As I had just arrived from Chongqing, which is most definitely a second tier chinese city, I was taken aback by the good english spoken by the reception, which was much better than that in a similar 5 star hotel in CQ. The hotel staff all provided good service and were courteous. The room was large and I appreciated the work table, something that is not common in other hotels of similar price range. The toilet's design was a little strange though, as there was no real separation from the shower area and the sink(only had a glass door). While I didn't have the time to use the hotel's facilities, there was a large indoor swimming pool and a fully equipped gym-- with fitness instructors and classes. Very impressive. The breakfast at the lobby restaurant was also good, with a good selection of hot food and bread, nothing to complain about. I also loved taking a stroll in the garden behind the restaurant, where locals were exercising and the gentle winter breeze uplifted my mood greatly. Overall, for the price paid, it is a good value for money hotel in Xujiahui, Shanghai, I love the hotel itself and the neighbourhood it is located in. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay here again if I am back in Shanghai, China.

The hotel is located not far from The Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is new, the rooms are clean and modern. The room cleaning service is provided every day. Breakfast is served until 12:00 noon, which is very good and delicious. All the staff at the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a fitness center and washing machines. I recommend everyone who comes to visit Shanghai to stay here. It is very good. Thank you

It was very worth the for 4 night stay. Breakfast was very excellent, tasty and delicious deserts, you can have any food type, drinks you could get. Service were excellent, such as receptions, they are easy to communicate in English compared to how difficult it can be to understand people at China. The location itself is very perfect. There is a nearby mall only 1 crossroad ahead you can get anything you like at there such as Starbucks, Subway, Pizza hut, KFC, Supermarket, Mcdonalds, and the metro is only few walks away which is SUPER convenient for us to transport. Also if you're visiting the Shanghai Disneyland they will transport you there without any charge. When we arrive in Shanghai again, we will definitely come back next time. Thanks to the staff members for excellent service.

Excellent concierge team. The front desk and all the colleagues went above and beyond! We arrived on 5th July. Our child felt unwell from the travelling. The hotel staff was very helpful in helping us find a hospital who would offer outpatient appointments without pre-booking. She helped to get us a taxi. They are a credit to their employer. Nice and clean hotel room. Lovely breakfast buffet. Perfect location. A++++
