I arrived at Shanghai Elong Hotel and were greeted by staff. Check in is seamless and smooth. I love the location just in front of Nanjing Rd! And near to Metro around the city and both Pudong and Hongqiao airports.  The room was excellent! Spacious, clean and very comfortable. I booked the City view room and the view is just exceptional! Nanjing rd!  Location is 100% a walking distance going to The Bund!  I will comeback again in this hotel and will definitely recommend to my family and friends.  I booked this room via trip.com and I always check the reviews about the hotel. It didn’t disappoint at all, feedbacks are accurate.

It was a great experience in Shanghai puyan hotel. The hotel is really close from the nanjingdonglu train station, it's about 5 mins by walk. And the view of hotel is heading the dongfangmingzhu tower! Especially, the hotelier Shirley, she help us in the kindest manner! She helped us to change to a new room with great view when we check in, And at the end of stay, we lost something in our room, but she helped us to find the missing luggage! Room condition also great! Scent, water, bedding, everything. I recommend to visit in here!

Love this hotel! We are from Malaysia and did DIY travel ourselves. Free and easy. This hotel location is 100% perfect - just across the metro station (Laoximen) and walk up 800m you will find a mosque (for muslims). So halal food is also nearby. If you are up to people watching, walk up further you can find Yuyuan Garden! This hotel is the perfect location for us! The check in staff, despite not speaking English well were great and Yi Mo and friends definitely tried very best to make our stay enjoyable. Kudos Demores Hotel. Will recommend you guys definitely!

Wonderful experience! All the staff were attentive, polite, helpful and so accommodating to our needs and questions. The hotel has laundry facilities and a gym, free to use. Breakfast was a good spread, Chinese style mainly. Right next to Yu Garden and crossing a few streets takes you to the Bund. The rooms look like their photos and the “XiaoDu”AI operating the room is such fun, just that it only speaks Chinese. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back.

A special shout out to our butler, Ms. Penny. Thanks for your warm welcome and kind arrangement. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel location is strategic, and the view of the bund was breathtaking. We enjoyed our breakfast very much, sumptuous selection. Thank you Bellagio by MGM and the crew for making our stay wonderful.

Service: 10/10. My mum and I were greeted at reception with warm tea and snacks. Honey (张小姐) added us on Wechat (Chinese social media) and provided us with food times and amenities for our stay. Location: 10/10 Amazing location. It's around 15 minutes walk from WuKang building which is the start of the famous Shanghai Citywalk. The hotel is 9 minutes walk from the closest metro (HengShanLu). Hotel: Perfect 👌🏼 We were given floor level 21 and had SPECTACULAR views. Absolutely superb. 💯 Food: Buffet breakfast. Afternoon OR evening tea included. Plus 1 bowl of noodle at night. What more can you ask for?! 10/10. Overall, I will recommend friends and family to stay. If you are deciding, stop & book right now!

The room is big and spacious, but the bathroom is a little tiny. Can’t change clothes inside the bathroom after shower. It is located almost a km from the nearest subway station but still walkable. Breakfast is provided for all guests, food generally quite good. One complaint is the breakfast ends at 9.30am, which is really too early for travellers who want to relax and enjoy their sleep. If can extend it to 10.30am or even 10am, it would be great.

I booked the ***** ***** for my wife's birthday and we had an incredible time staying at the hotel. The view of the river and other side was incredible, especially at night when the city lights up. The bed was clean and comfortable, and all amenities (bathtub, bathroom, tea+coffee) were top notch. The room itself was very spacious and a good spot to unwind and relax after busy days touring Shanghai.

It was a great experience in there, Just if there could be a bit more English present ”(such as the Breakfast Menu) it would be more International traveler friendly. The service was spot on.

The Hotel is a bit out of the way and a bit of a trek to get there but once you arrive it really is stunning, if you like modern architecture and interior design you will love this place. It is really geared up for the Chinese market obviously, I think I was the only foreigner staying at the time so apart from reception very few people speak English but I managed OK. Check in was simple and the room was ready for me, very nice room with a lovely view and everything you needed was there, I loved the electric curtains and the stand alone bath tub in the bathroom, the electric switch panel next to the bed with all the controls was very complicated, I never did learn how it worked, and the iPad with all the information was only in Chinese so so that was no help. The one thing that did surprise me for a 5 star hotel was there was no 24 hour cafe on site, I arrived around 3 pm feeling very hungry and the only restaurant was closed after lunch service and not open again till dinner, the only thing available was coffee and cake in the lobby. Breakfast was good but extremely busy, I guess the hotel must have been full, difficult to find a free table but there was plenty of choice to eat. If you want to get the best view of the hotel for pictures you need to walk around outside and there is a children’s amusement park next door, you have to pay to go in but the have a glass walkway around one side of the quarry and you get the most amazing views of the hotel, the walkway looks like it should belong to the hotel but it doesn’t. I really enjoyed my stay there but you wouldn’t want long there, there’s nothing to do in the local area and nowhere to walk to, it’s quite remote, you really only go there to experience a stay in a very futuristic hotel and for that it’s worth it.
