Hotel comes with a good view of Shanghai skyline, room is very clean with daily housekeeping, friendly and supportive staffs. Reasonable price, good location - walkable to the Bund and Nanjing east station. Only one small minor point is the aircon system - heater working very good, even though we have tried to adjust the temperature down, but it was still too warm inside the room.

I love this hotel so much!❤️ So convinient. So recommended if you want to go to disney and shanghai wild animal park.. the hotel has free shuttle bus to take you from the hotel to disney, and take you to the hotel from disney. It has 2 lovely cats, 1 dog, 2 rabbits, fish and 1 pony. Your children can interact with those animals. There are many books you can bring to your room to read. It has playground so my children didnt feel bored at the hotel. Breakfast time is 6-9 am. The hotel gave me free upgrade room too. Thank you..

I last stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, when it was still named ”Regal International East Asia Hotel”. 10 years later, when I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel again, I was surprised that the hotel was more or less kept as the same, with a similar classy style and decor. Even the rooms looked the same! Although they were probably never renovated, the fixtures and fittings were kept in very good condition and the beds comfortable. It is located in a very classy and laid back part of Xujiahui, Shanghai which was part of the former french concession. I had a good stroll down Hengshan Road, and found that while it was tree-lined and as pretty as ever, there were more cafes and malls there now. The location is also very convenient, a short stroll away from Wukang Building, 5 mins walk to Hengshan Road station and 15mins drive from the bund. As I had just arrived from Chongqing, which is most definitely a second tier chinese city, I was taken aback by the good english spoken by the reception, which was much better than that in a similar 5 star hotel in CQ. The hotel staff all provided good service and were courteous. The room was large and I appreciated the work table, something that is not common in other hotels of similar price range. The toilet's design was a little strange though, as there was no real separation from the shower area and the sink(only had a glass door). While I didn't have the time to use the hotel's facilities, there was a large indoor swimming pool and a fully equipped gym-- with fitness instructors and classes. Very impressive. The breakfast at the lobby restaurant was also good, with a good selection of hot food and bread, nothing to complain about. I also loved taking a stroll in the garden behind the restaurant, where locals were exercising and the gentle winter breeze uplifted my mood greatly. Overall, for the price paid, it is a good value for money hotel in Xujiahui, Shanghai, I love the hotel itself and the neighbourhood it is located in. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay here again if I am back in Shanghai, China.

I stayed four nights in this hotel before heading to another city. The hotel is located directly above a subway and is one stop away from People’s Square, which is very convenient to reach the city centre. The hotel is very new and super clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful to address all your needs. The room is equipped with smart systems. I booked a family room which comes with microwave, fridge, induction cooker and washing machine. Will definitely consider this hotel for my next trip to Shanghai.

I declined the offer because I already had other arrangements. Unexpectedly, the hotel also specially sent a greeting card and Dabai. Rabbit 🍬, it’s really been a long time since Shanghai girl had one! Touched and grateful😇 All aspects of the hotel fully reflect the style of Shanghai's old five-star hotel. The environment is clean and elegant, the service attitude is excellent, and the price/performance ratio is super high. Recommended ❤️

A very good hotel. If you want to go to Disney or Shanghai Wild Animal Park, it is very convenient to stay here. The environment is really good, and it lives up to the name of ”garden”. The facilities are relatively new, and the room is well equipped, including smart toilets, refrigerators, etc. The bedding, showers, and toiletries are also relatively comfortable. The design of the lobby is very distinctive, and the open-air lobby is very grand. The executive lounge and outdoor swimming pool are also quite atmospheric~ High cost performance.

As a business traveller, when I go to a hotel, I crave familiarity, as there are often enough surprises at work. At the Radisson Xing Guo, I had high expectations, check-in process was smooth and the room was nice. However, when I came back after work, the dirty cups were still inside my room and when I called down to front desk, they sent replacement glasses from room service without any spoons after a long wait. On my second day returning from work, there was only half the normal nunber of bottles of water. The continuous little errors were unfortuante as I never knew what else would go wrong. Hotel overall was nice, and should definitely spend more time training room servicing staff.

Classic-styled hotel. Clean and spacious room. Some dust on some surface but acceptable, met chinese standard. Got upgraded to higher room type. Cleaning was done everyday. 4 bottle of water provided (family room for 3 people). Body soap and shampoo provided in very small bottle which was not quite enough but they were refilled everyday. King bed was larger than standard and very comfortable. Pillows were too soft, need to put 2 of them together. Shower and toilet area were too dark, not enough light. The refrigerator was not working. View was fantastic (17th floor). Sometimes cigarette smell came from air-condition. Breakfast was good, variety of food and changed everyday. Staffs can speak English and had very good service mind. Lots of shops and restaurants at Raffles city opposite of the Hotel. Metro station was only 7 mins walk. Overall was very good, met 4.5 star standard.

FFamPlanFirst of all 5 stars to Peng Ho (何鹏) service, very helpful and proactive, helped with us during check in and when leaving the hotel with 🧳 and getting our ride to the airport. Also 5 stars for another lady helped with our check in, she let me viewed a few rooms as I wasn't exactly sure about my stay, she prepared a welcome fruit platter for us. The hotel is quite wore off, l9bby seemed ok, but once in elevator, corridors all appeared wore off and not clean, then the room arranged for us is full of smell, moldy and smokes, the room we settled is not as smelly, but still found stains, dirt etc in the room, I have especially requested a well cleaned and dusted room before check in due to allergies. Since t was our last stop of a 2+ weeks vacation plus it's only one night so we didn't move, if it is at the beginning or staying longer, I would've moved hoteldue to the first impression of elevator /corridor and room,I was tired that didn't even take picture of the room, our room was facing some old neighborhood, no scenery at all, plus it's noisy in the morning around 6, noises from heavy machinery. But location is quite convenient, walking distance to the Bund, took us about 20 minutes walk to reach the starting point of the Bund.
