The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable – not a single strange odor. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and it was so quiet at night, leading to a great night's sleep. The amenities were comprehensive, and the toiletries were of high quality. Both the front desk staff and housekeeping were polite, attentive, professional, and thoughtful. The price was reasonable and offered great value for money. It's already on my list for my next visit."

《Service》Excellent! The housekeeping was thorough and clean.
《Environment》Parking in hotels within the old city can be a hassle. The InterContinental next door has an underground parking lot, but it was surprising to find 1.1-meter twin beds in a family room here. The family rooms at Mercure are much larger, with great bedding and a good night's sleep. I'd recommend a lower floor; otherwise, the elevators take a long time, especially during peak hours. If you're on the second floor, taking the stairs is perfectly fine."

I stayed for two consecutive days, and the breakfast menu changed daily and was delicious. Drinks and bottled water are complimentary, and the service attitude is also very good. No. 8 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Liaoning"I visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing.
At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip.
He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip.
Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable.
If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Leo Liu for his excellent service

"First time in Dalian, and it was a fantastic experience. My flight was late, so I didn't arrive until almost midnight. The owner was incredibly patient, waited up for me, and even came to the lobby to meet me personally. He also upgraded my room type! The room was very spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The living room and bedroom were also separated. From the window, I had a direct view of Donggang and could overlook the city. A truly wonderful experience. Dalian is beautiful, the hotel is great, and the owner is very handsome!"

I booked it for my friend, and they told me it was excellent – spacious, not cramped at all, and with great soundproofing, so they had a really peaceful night's sleep. From the bus stop in front of Pavilion, you can take a direct bus to Forest Zoo and Yinshatan Beach, and even reach a good photo spot for the cross-sea bridge. Taking the subway to Xinghai Square, Xinghai Park, and Sea-rhyme Park is also very convenient. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation."

"The room offered a sea view, which was lovely. Having a washing machine and a fridge was a huge plus, and all the appliances and furniture felt quite new and were in good working order. They even provided branded toiletries and a decent kettle, and the TV worked perfectly – truly impressive. The cleanliness was spot-on, and the space felt very generous, complete with a wardrobe, sofa, and even a kitchen. Downstairs, there were all sorts of shops, and it was close to the subway station, making it incredibly livable. Honestly, it felt more comfortable than some long-term rentals I've had in other cities.
My few days of vacation truly felt like 'living.' I could sleep in until I naturally woke up, then go see the sea, visit attractions, fly kites, go mudlarking, and feed pigeons and seagulls. I even managed to wake up early one day to catch the sunrise and enjoyed the sunset in the evenings. At night, I'd stroll through the night market, find a spot to eat while listening to live music (it's great to find a seat!), and then head back to watch TV until I felt sleepy before drifting off. Each day was perfectly rounded and wonderful."

No. 2 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Dalian"I originally booked a double room, and to my delight, I got a free upgrade to a suite when checking in, which gave me two separate rooms. The beds were 1.8 meters wide, so I slept very comfortably. The living room was also very spacious, perfect for spreading out my luggage. The location is excellent; before arriving, I saw many recommendations to buy groceries at Dalian Shopping Mall, and to my surprise, it's right across the street from the hotel. There's also a night market downstairs, and getting to all the attractions was very convenient. I took taxis everywhere, and the fares were very cheap. I used points to redeem breakfast, and the buffet had a good variety of options, enough to fill you up even if you're a picky eater. The cold noodles (dà lā pí) at breakfast were delicious! Oh, and there were vendors selling Dalian cherries downstairs. After checking out so many places and prices, the price downstairs was incredibly good value for money. If I come back to Dalian, I'd definitely consider staying at this hotel again."
