Guest UserThe room was very clean and the environment was great. The greenery in the courtyard was absolutely stunning, and it was quite close to the beach. The service attitude was super good, and they even added an extra bed for us for free, plus there were all sorts of activities.
We also enjoyed the 4000㎡ Xingqi Paradise outdoor playground: it's huge, and the weather these two days was just perfect, not too hot and not too cold.

FanfanbufanMy stay at the Four Seasons Dalian was absolutely perfect, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff. Upon arriving at the 41st-floor lobby, the check-in process was efficient and smooth. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, proactively explaining the hotel facilities, recommending optimal viewing times, and even thoughtfully suggesting an itinerary for Donggang based on my travel plans. I made a last-minute request to switch to a higher-floor sea-view room, and the front desk quickly accommodated it, communicating every detail with thoughtfulness and professionalism.
The hotel lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view of the Donggang seascape. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the amenities were complete. From the doormen and front desk to the room attendants, everyone provided excellent service, with thoughtful touches at every turn. The exceptional service from the front desk truly enhanced my entire trip. This will be my top choice when visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

Guest UserWe stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Dalian Golden Pebble Beach for two nights over the Dragon Boat Festival, booking two rooms, and we were absolutely delighted! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff were all incredibly welcoming, especially Yi Yangqianxi, who even upgraded our rooms. We had a fantastic view of the ocean from our floor, which was such a mood booster. The hotel itself has a vibrant musical vibe, with a distinct rock 'n' roll flair 🤘. The rooms were great too. It's right by the beach, and Discoveryland is only a few hundred meters away, so the kids had an amazing time. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, with something to please everyone. In the evenings, we also visited the hotel's own bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks – it was fantastic! There was even a foreign resident singer who performed beautifully, making it a perfect spot to unwind. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

Having experienced various hotels in Dalian across different price ranges, I can confidently say that the New World Hotel's service is by far the best. Dalian generally enjoys a pleasant and comfortable climate, though the only downside at the moment is the city's high accommodation prices. Upon arrival, a bellhop promptly came forward to assist with my luggage, and the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. I had to contact the duty manager during my stay with a query, and they handled it with exceptional patience, thoroughness, and a truly sincere attitude. Considering all my experiences, this hotel is undoubtedly five-star – you can't go wrong choosing to stay here when visiting Dalian.

The room was fantastic and spacious, with a great view from the high floor. The hotel service was exceptional, and the breakfast was one of the most plentiful I've ever had at a hotel. The intern was very friendly and provided excellent service. My family was also very satisfied. We'll definitely stay at Crowne Plaza Xinghai again on our next trip.

MishidefengshengzhuI stayed here in 2023 when it was still a Kempinski. The spa and bakery left a deep impression on me. Since 2026, it has rebranded to Pullman by Accor, without closing for renovations, so the facilities remain unchanged. This time in Dalian, I revisited the hotel.
Having been open for over twenty years, the facilities are indeed quite old. The room has a lot of heavy wooden furnishings, which must have been a significant investment back then. Many of them are no longer very smooth to use, such as the wardrobe sliding doors and bathroom drawers. They are difficult to move, and any attempt to do so would require major renovation. This also applies to issues like only having a charging port on one side of the bed, which many guests complain about. Personally, I quite like this old-fashioned, substantial hotel decor style; it lacks the cheap feel of some newer high-end hotels. Old is fine, as long as it doesn't affect normal use.
The faucet is a Danish brand, possibly a concept product more focused on styling. It has a strange push-button operation. Some are smooth, others are very stiff and difficult to use, making it hard to control water flow and potentially scratching hands.
The bed and sofa are very comfortable. It took me a while to find the light switches in the room, only to realize they were on the central control panel – a small, inconspicuous box by the bedside.
The service is still good. It's peak season now, but I was still able to check in at the regulated time. This time, I bought a package through Trip.com, which included breakfast for two and dinner at Paulaner. It was a great value. The front desk even upgraded me to a better room type in a separate building, the VIP building, which has less than ten rooms per floor.
Regarding the food: The breakfast variety is decent. The menu listed omelets, so I asked the chef to make one, and it tasted good. For milk, there was hot whole milk and cold skim milk; cold whole milk would have been a nice addition. The bakery, no longer part of Kempinski, has changed its products. My favorite chocolate croissants are gone. I bought some sliced cakes, and they tasted good. Paulaner has an excellent environment with a great atmosphere and live performances. The service is also very attentive, and guests get a 25% discount. However, pizzas take a long time to prepare; I waited over an hour for mine.
The spa and pool are still the same as before, with an exotic flair. Several hot tubs and my favorite steam bath were all open and functioning. The pool is deeper than usual, at 1.5-1.8m, and it wasn't crowded, making it very peaceful.
My main suggestions are all regarding the facilities:
1. The wooden furnishings that are not smooth to use should be repaired.
2. Add a charging port to the other side of the bed.
3. Replace the strange faucets.
4. The two panels of the curtains should not be on a single track; they need to overlap to prevent a gap, otherwise, how can light be blocked effectively?

The room was spacious and clean. I just wonder if it's disinfected after every guest, especially since it's a pet-friendly hotel, and I'm a bit concerned about other dogs having skin issues. Overall, it's pretty good, but there's no suitable place nearby for dog walking or bathroom breaks.

Guest UserThis hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is fantastic – within a 1km walk, you can reach many highly-rated restaurants, major shopping malls, and the Qiyi Morning Market. What's even better is that after our room upgrade, we had a view of Zhongshan Square! After checking out, Amber from the concierge promptly called to let us know we'd left some items behind and kindly offered to hold them for us. We really felt the warmth of Dalian through her service!

ChanelXoI booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for the National Day holiday. I know he likes being surrounded by nature since we live in the city. I also thought we would try playing golf (we didn't). We had a great time and even when we left the hotel for another hotel, my boyfriend wanted to go back.
Pros
1. The bedroom was huge!
2. The scenery is breathtaking.
3. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
4. The food was delicious.
Cons
1. The bedroom wasn't super clean. We found rat pellets by the window (at least that's what my boyfriend says. I think it could be lizards)
2. There are lots of activities that seem to be inactive due to renovations (possibly due to the covid era) but it seems they are working on restorations.
All in all. I would definitely go back and when this hotel is in it's prime, it will be even more amazing!
