Dalian Hotels with balcony

It's been a long time since I wrote a review, so long that I almost forgot I was a hotel professional by trade! I started as an intern and worked my way up to head of the front desk and marketing department, experiencing a lot along the way! Because I was rigorously trained and also faced many unreasonable challenges, I usually don't criticize people in this industry! For this trip, I chose a Japanese-style brand because we had stayed at one in another city and felt very comfortable. However, my stay in Shenyang made me decide I would never like this brand again! Later, I deliberated for a long time whether to stay at an InterContinental Hotels Group property or this brand, City Express, which I hadn't really tried in the south, when I got to Dalian. I chose City Express because it was closer to the sea! Of course, upon checking in, I did notice some issues. As a former hotel duty manager, I have a keen eye for detail, and I was quite disappointed at the time! When checking out, they asked for my feedback, and I mentioned a small point. Not for any other reason, but because I believe the good outweighs the bad, and I hoped they could improve. Afterwards, a young lady at the front desk sincerely apologized to me when I was leaving. At that moment, I didn't even think it was a problem, as I felt some minor issues were acceptable for the price. But she was still incredibly polite! This really reminded me of hotel staff from many years ago, because I haven't seen current employees be so humble in a long time! Many who clearly made mistakes often act self-righteous. To encounter such a conscientious young lady in this situation, I specifically wrote this long review, hoping to encourage the relevant staff at this hotel!

The service was great! A day before check-in, the staff contacted me to ask about my child's information and provided suitable slippers and other amenities. When we arrived, they quickly arranged for an extra pillow and blanket upon request. They also accommodated our late check-out. Although the facilities are a bit old and the summer premium was high, the balcony sea view was absolutely stunning and left us with wonderful memories. A quick tip: it's best to bring your own hairdryer (the hotel's is quite old) and shower slippers (they only provide disposable ones). If you plan on taking a bath, bring your own large bath liner (you can also order one via delivery once you're at the hotel). The main bed was very comfortable, but the sofa bed was not.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was well soundproofed and very quiet, with great natural light and spotlessly clean. The bedding was soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The front desk staff were patient and attentive, always promptly helping to resolve any issues. A special thanks to Anna, Winni, Ida, Jim, and Ken at the front desk for their thoughtful service. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to dining, entertainment, and shopping. I truly recommend it to everyone.

The location is super convenient, perfect for a city walk to Zhongshan Square and Nanshan Street, and shopping and dining at Dalian Shopping Mall are all easily accessible on foot. Within a ten-minute walk, you can reach two of Dalian's 'Big Three' coffee shops, which is a big plus. The bedding at Atour is, as always, high quality. Even during the long holiday, the room service remained very warm and attentive.

It was a perfect trip. I wanted to go to Lushun to go shopping. I took the light rail terminal to see the sea. It was very close to the World Peace Park. Although it was late, the park was still lively. The sea was clear and there was no smell of the sea. The store upgraded the room type and turned on the air conditioner in advance. Let the fatigue of the journey sweep away in the cool. In the morning, I looked at Fang Fei on the edge of the villa, the large bathtub floor-to-ceiling windows, and the sea view smelled the flowers. The room is so big, especially when sitting down at the side table on the first floor, I feel like singing a song ”Night on the Outskirts of Moscow”. The flowers in front of the door bloom like a brocade, the green apple exhibition is like a green jade, and the home is very delicious with a single mountain and water.

Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low.

Dining:★★★☆☆ * Hotel restaurants and bar offered a nice atmosphere. * Food and drinks were expensive for the portion sizes and overall value. * Ordering through ******* or dining outside the hotel provides better value. Activities & Beach Facilities:★★★☆☆ * The beachfront location is beautiful and has great potential for guest activities. * It would be a wonderful addition if the resort included complimentary paddle boats, beach games, balls, sand toys, or other recreational equipment for guests. * Most activities required an additional fee, and there were very few free entertainment options available for families or guests wanting to enjoy the beach. Value for Money:★★★☆☆ * The spectacular location justifies part of the cost, but improvements in cleanliness, balcony comfort, breakfast variety, complimentary beach activities, and dining value would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Would I Recommend It?✔️ Yes The breathtaking beachfront location and incredible views make this hotel worth considering. With a few improvements in comfort, cleanliness, breakfast options, complimentary recreational activities, and pricing, it would provide an even better guest experience.

The guesthouse's location is fantastic, right next to Xinghai Square, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. It's incredibly convenient for enjoying the sea view and strolling around the square. The room was clean and tidy, with a cozy atmosphere, soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The owner was warm and attentive, even recommending nearby restaurants and travel tips. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The ambiance here is elegant and atmospheric. Personally, I really love it; it's a prime example of getting great value for your money. Definitely worth recommending, don't hesitate, just go for it at this price, the value for money is guaranteed. Trust me on this, anything Peter recommends is a must-try, and I wouldn't recommend anything that wasn't top-notch, hahaha 😄

The hotel on the golf course feels that it is mainly prepared for guests who come to play golf overnight. It is written as a five-star, but the facilities are actually a bit old. Facing the side of the course, the view is invincible, it is worth a trip for one night alone. The price is also very reasonable. The manager is very enthusiastic. Breakfast is a set meal, relatively simple and tastes good. The room is large, with a balcony and a bathtub. There is free bottled water, because it is a small bottle, so four bottles were given. Later, two bottles were sent. Insufficient: 1. The hot water flow in the shower is too small and the water temperature is low. The traffic below is a bit noisy in the morning.
