Every day, he greeted us warmly, proactively asked about our plans, and shared tips on fun things to do and great places to eat in Dalian. As first-time visitors, his recommendations were incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome. Another young man, who worked the night shift, truly touched me. My family was staying in different room types, and my two nephews were waiting outside their grandfather's room. Their grandpa had fallen asleep, and they couldn't reach him or me. The front desk attendant noticed them and didn't ignore them; instead, he stayed with them, patiently looking after them until I arrived. What impressed me even more was his professionalism and caution. When I got there, he thoroughly verified my identity and confirmed I was a guest for that room before helping us open the door. That level of security awareness and responsibility is truly commendable. A great hotel isn't just about the facilities and environment; it's about encountering staff who genuinely care for their guests. And I must praise the beds here! They are so incredibly comfortable! I usually have trouble falling asleep, but these past few days, I've drifted off almost as soon as I lay down, and my sleep quality has been excellent. Thank you for your thoughtful service; it made this trip to Dalian even more wonderful. Next time I'm in Dalian, I will definitely stay here again ❤️"

"I came to Dalian for a trip, but my flight was canceled due to the weather. I randomly booked a hotel for one night. The hotel is conveniently located near the university town, with direct bus access. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helpful, assisting me with directions and even carrying my luggage. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and it's an apartment-style establishment. The staff called in advance to confirm my arrival time. The room was spacious enough, clean, hygienic, and not cramped. Although it faces the street, it was very quiet at night with no noise. There were helpful instruction stickers in many places around the room. It's very close to both the train station and the airport, about a 20-minute taxi ride. The hotel is located near Xinghai Square, which makes it very convenient for visiting the nearby attractions."

Seventy-something yuan for a room offers incredible value for money. 2. **Close to the Beach:** Just a ten-minute walk to the seaside. 3. **Good Facilities:** Features smart toilets and curtains. The bed is also a spacious two meters. 4. **Helpful Staff:** The customer service lady was very kind and assisted with luggage storage. Cons: 1. **Cleanliness Issues:** The bedsheets had hair stuck to them and looked very unclean. The bath towel definitely wasn't fresh when I checked in; it had a very strong odor, so I didn't use it. 2. **Noise Disturbance:** Construction upstairs started drilling at 8 AM, which significantly disrupted my sleep. 3. **No Air Conditioning:** It got a bit cold at night for this time of year without AC. Overall, considering the price, it's still great value for money, but the hygiene definitely needs improvement."

"My stay at Atour Hotel (Xinghai Square, Dalian) truly exceeded my expectations. The location, room, and service were all top-notch. The hotel is right by Xinghai Square, within walking distance to the Centennial City Sculpture and the beach. It's incredibly convenient for enjoying sea views, taking a stroll, or snapping some photos. I booked a sea-view room, and the view was fantastic. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the ocean and Xinghaiwan Bridge. The daytime sea view was expansive, and the evening lights made for great night photos. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a simple yet comfortable decor. The bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, stable hot water, and a full set of toiletries. The smart toilet was also a convenient touch. The lighting and curtains in the room could all be controlled with a single button, showing great attention to detail. The front desk staff were efficient and polite during check-in, and quick to respond to any questions. The breakfast had a sufficient variety of options, tasted decent, and was filling enough to kickstart the day's activities. Overall, it offered good value for money. The location is excellent, the sea view is a big plus, and it's a very comfortable place to stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dalian and looking to stay near Xinghai Square."

"This is a really nice, cozy little house. I've traveled a lot and stayed in a lot of B&Bs, and the value for money is super high. I give this one 100 points. Whether it's the warm and welcoming attitude of the customer service or the clean, hygienic, convenient and easy-to-use facilities, you can see the careful maintenance and love of life. I love it! I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it. Look at the pictures I took, the Eight Horses map is so fun! Hahaha"

"This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!"

"This hotel is located in a superb 👍, the door is the light rail line 3, there is also a direct train to the Kingdom, eating is also very convenient, a few minutes walk to the beach. The boss service is also very good, very pleasant once."

"Let me start by saying this: it's my first business trip to Dalian, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at – both have been excellent! How can the service be so good? I'm in love with Dalian! The location is superb, very close to Xinghai Square, and right by the seaside as soon as you step out. During my stay, I added the butler's WeChat, so I could conveniently message them for anything I needed. When I arrived, the front desk staff helped me with my luggage to my room, and I even received a welcome afternoon tea. There aren't many rooms on each floor, so it's very quiet, and the room itself is comfortable! The bed is neither too soft nor too hard, I slept so well. The curtains are automated with a button, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bath towels are thick. I usually bring my own toiletries when I travel, but I actually used the shampoo here and it was fantastic – left my hair fragrant and smooth. Very satisfied!"

"I came to Dalian alone to visit a classmate, and I highly recommend this guesthouse. The location is excellent, right near Heishijiao beach, with plenty of food options nearby and convenient transportation. The environment is also great. What touched me most was the service; every staff member served with care, greeting me warmly whenever I entered or left. The most moving part was on my last day when I had a stomach ache. The front desk staff (a young man and woman) allowed me to check out late and offered me a place to rest on the sofa, even bringing me tea and water. I'm very touched, thank you all. Highly recommended!"
