I honestly didn't want to leave the Meihau R Hot Spring Hotel (Xinghai Square Branch) – it was pure bliss from start to finish.😭 The location is unbelievably perfect! Xinghai Square is just a few steps away, making it super easy to feed the seagulls, enjoy the ocean breeze, and capture panoramic city views. The subway station is only about 1km away, an easy walk. The river view is fantastic, and the overall environment is quiet and elegant, a welcome escape from city noise. Their service truly won over this southerner! The front desk staff were so gentle and attentive. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, and an auntie even specially fried an egg for me on the spot – talk about attention to detail. The room was super spacious; we got upgraded to a river-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered such a healing view. It was roomy and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the hotel's own scrubbing and hot spring center. My first Northern-style scrubbing experience – I'm hooked! So relaxing and stress-relieving. There's also a secret garden on the rooftop, perfect for a drink and a chat on a breezy evening. The ambiance was absolutely perfect ✨ Honestly, no complaints at all. Overall, the room was good. When I first saw it, I thought it would be noisy, but after checking in at night, I found it to be fine. With the windows closed, I couldn't hear any noise, so the soundproofing is actually quite good. Unless someone upstairs was deliberately stomping around loudly, I didn't find it noisy. During my five-day stay, only on the last night did my family find it a bit loud, but I didn't. The hygiene was also good. The main thing is that it's close to the sea, so it's very convenient to take the kids to the beach anytime. Getting a taxi and finding places to eat nearby are also quite convenient. Chenxi Tianjie is a few hundred meters away, and Gaoxin Wanda is a few kilometers away. There are breakfast shops, convenience stores, and dumpling shops right downstairs. Across the street, there's even a seafood BBQ place, although the stir-fried clams were a bit salty. In the evenings, there are many vendors selling various fruits, which is very convenient. If you're taking kids to the Shengya Ocean World, remember to buy tickets at the hotel; they're cheaper than buying them on-site. **They're both cheaper. I bought mine from Qunar.com and only realized the hotel's price was better after getting back to the hotel after my visit. I ended up paying about 20 yuan more.

Had a wonderful experience! The front desk staff, Xiao Jia, helped us upgrade our room and even offered us more options when she saw we had two children with us! We're very grateful! Although many people complain about the twin elevators, to be honest, we had a good experience; they weren't time-consuming at all and were quite efficient. The kids loved it! All the service staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. We'll definitely recommend this place to friends. One minor suggestion for improvement: the self-service laundry room only open until midnight, which isn't very convenient.

Cleanliness: terrible. Didnt notice the urine stain around the toilet bowl until second day. Informed the counter but can only clean the next day. Didnt dare to use the toilet for the entire 4 days. Beside the urine stained toilet, the staff didnt bother to put my pillows in place. Tea bags wasnt refilled until i feedback to the counter. Very slipshod cleaning work. Counter service: Excellent. Helped me contact rider when my parcel went missing. Bathroom: would prefer if theres hook inside the bathroom. Feels very cold coming out after shower to retrieve towes. Room: No soundproof at all. Wont recommend if you are a light sleeper. Lighting is good and bright.

I stayed at the Shanshui Fashion Hotel Dongcai branch during my Qingming holiday trip to Dalian, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. If I needed anything, the friendly guy at the front desk brought it over right away – excellent service. Spacious room: It was very large with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, and excellent soundproofing. The upstairs bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. This is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in for its environment – great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I book a hotel.
