GGuest UserI brought my father, who uses a wheelchair, back to Dalian. As someone who also runs a hotel, I carefully chose this place after much consideration. First, it's very close to the sea, right outside the door, which is great for elderly people, especially those with mobility issues. Second, the rooms are spacious and don't feel cramped. Third, there are accessible ramps, making it easy for wheelchairs to get around. After checking in, the even bigger surprise was the service here. Every single front desk staff member was incredibly warm, proactive, and made you feel right at home. If service could be rated out of 10, I'd definitely give it a 10. As a hotelier, the three things I prioritize most are: cleanliness – excellent. Water and electricity – the hot water pressure is great, making for a comfortable shower. Safety – absolutely no worries there. Another surprise was that I could actually sleep with just the screen window open here, something I can't do in any other hotel, including my own, or even at home (though I have bird sounds there). I need absolute quiet to sleep, and I truly slept well here. This might be the most detailed review I've ever written, because I genuinely recommend it. I wish them prosperous business and hope to see those five lovely front desk staff members again next time I visit Dalian.

QQuinnomI had the most wonderful stay here. Firstly, the homestay itself is so clean and pretty. My room was exactly as it was in the pictures. I had a bathtub by the window with a seaview and a large room all to myself. The warm lighting made the ambience even more spectacular. I absolutely loved the New Chinese Style Interior Design. It is one of my favourite interiors, and it was such a dream to stay here. The complimentary Chinese tea set was refreshing. The staff here is excellent, too! I was attended by Mr. Sun, who spoke good English (which was very helpful for me as I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin). Upon my request, Mr. Sun provided me with a vegetarian breakfast and even brought it to my ropm to enjoy. It was a very substantial breakfast: millet porridge, warm milk, steamed sweet potato, corn on the cob, Broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, and a vegetable bao with fruits. There is also a complimentary bracelet-making station for homestay guests. Mr. Sun also provided me with free-flow drinking water as the weather was lovely and sunny. Location-wise, you can walk to the nearby theme park by crossing the pedestrian bridge and there are plenty of (high-end seafood restaurants) but there is also a supermarket and restaurant next door that was within my budget. The view of the bridge from my room at night was absolutely beautiful with the lights. Overall, I would really encourage anyone visiting Dalian to stay here! 😍😍 Thank you so much, Qingsong Yaju!

DDingdingdongdongqiang!Hotels in Dalian are indeed cheaper during the off-season. I chose one based on Trip.com's recommendation, and the customer service reached out half a day beforehand to confirm my check-in time. They even allowed an early check-in since a room was available, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel boasts modern facilities, including a projector. It was rainy during my stay, so watching movies on the big screen in the hotel was incredibly enjoyable. The front desk also provided umbrellas. There are many popular attractions around the hotel, and Zhongshan Square is just an 800-meter walk away. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and you could grab water freely from the front desk. They also offered coffee and honey water upon request. The laundry room on the first floor was very comfortable. Kudos to all the staff for their excellent service!

GGuest UserOur trip to Dalian was plagued by continuous heavy fog and many inconveniences. However, the Novotel hotel turned out to be the highlight of our journey, completely exceeding our expectations. The convenient surroundings, the spotless room, the relaxing aroma permeating the lobby, and especially the breakfast – with its rich and varied selection that hardly repeated day to day, and excellent quality – all left a deep impression on us. Due to a canceled flight, we returned to the hotel, and the front desk even upgraded our room type. The doorman's thoughtful service, like offering an umbrella when we went out and helping us hail a taxi from the intersection to the hotel entrance on a rainy day, made us feel incredibly warm and welcome. So, if I have the chance in the future, I will definitely consider Novotel again.

GGuest UserThe price is good and the location is decent. There's always security to help with parking. Breakfast is just okay, nothing special. Even though it's a newly renovated hotel in 2024, the shower is still over a wide and high bathtub. It's really easy to slip and fall when stepping out after a shower because the floor gets wet. There's an outlet next to the toilet, but it's an old-style toilet with low flushing power. The funniest thing is that the air conditioning was under maintenance during the May Day holiday? So we could only open the windows for ventilation. Dalian's weather has been so unpredictable lately, hot one minute and cold the next, so not being able to control the room temperature was really uncomfortable. Plus, it was noisy with the windows open. This is really unreasonable; they totally could have checked and fixed it beforehand.
