2 city view rooms booked, with breakfast. We arrived earlier than usual check-in time. 👍🏻 Front desk staff was kind enough to offer one room for us :) 👍🏻 Hotel room is large, as usual Pagoda hotels. 👌🏻Furnitures are slightly aged but cleanliness was good for my stay. I always like the body shower and shampoo they provide! 👍🏻 Room keeper was kind and speedy towards our request. 👍🏻 Hotel location is good, near Wulin square metro station, wintin 10 mins walk, bus stops nearby as well. Plenty of restaurants nearby. And quick access to sightseeing spots, such as West Lake, Lingyin temple, etc, basically half hour drive to most of the spots around city. 👌🏻 Breakfast with vast choice, mainly Chinese food. 🥲 City view is facing residential building that we kept our curtain on, also someone smoking at the corridor, which was not ideal.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and it really did not disappoint us! Love this hotel! U will be greeted by friendly staff and nice fragrance in the hotel lobby. There is also robot service but we did not get to use it. The hotel even provided a full set of Dyson hair dryer which helped styled my hair everyday! We had a bit of problem connecting the wifi in the room and they immediately sent help our way! They used their personal number to register and patiently helped connect for all our devices. Then again, this is something they should really look into for their non-Chinese citizen guests who does not have china number to register, it's such a hassle and time consuming to connect. 24hour marts are right across the street and there are a few small eateries behind the hotel. No complaints. Highly recommended!

The location is great , 100 meters away from metro station. The hotel room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are separated. There's a convenient shop and restaurants nearby The staff are helpful and friendly, just that they are too occupied and sometimes we have to wait for them to attend to us.. Will definitely come again.

We received warm welcome. Overall excellent service from hotel staff to the restaurants. We had a happy and enjoyable stay at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree. Highly recommend this place. After staying at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree for 3 nights, we went on to stay at the Shanghai on the bund Bayan Tree. We experienced a stark contrast in service from the front desk staff from the bund Banyan Tree. We wondered why they kept stopping us from getting into the room that we have booked for. In the end, we went through changing 3 rooms before they finally gave us the correct facing room. So, beware of the Shanghai on the Bund Banyan Tree and do not believe in the free upgrade or upsize room. We rejected the first corner room only to be given another corner room at the other end that were both warm and uncomfortable. The staff kept assuring us that they were bigger rooms and better view than the Panorama Riverside Retreat-King room that we have booked for but we want the room that we have booked. Why can't they give us the right room in the first place and have to made us go through changing from one room to another. A clear dishonest play here. We missed the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree front desk staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Hangzhou, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The scenery surrounding the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views that made every moment spent there feel special. The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail was impressive, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou!

We have really enjoyed our stay at The Amber House! The staff was extremely helpful and most spoke a little bit of English. Anna, at the front desk was particularly helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious, very clean, and modern. We had a lovely view of the lake despite booking a cheaper room. Breakfast has a lot of variety. We would definitely stay again. 我们很喜欢TheAmberHouse。前台Anna非常好。那个前台会说一点点英语。我们的房间很宽敞，很干净，也现代。我们有湖景。早饭很好吃。价格适中。

Nice 5-star hotel with really good price. However, it’s not that close to metro station. Bus stop is just outside, can go most of attractions. Highly recommend to stay here.

Whether it was offering local recommendations or ensuring our needs were met with a smile, they consistently exceeded our expectations. The room service was equally outstanding—prompt, meticulous, and delivered with genuine care, thanks to Linda and Bella’s efforts. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities we could ask for. We only stayed here for one night but there were many aspects that really wowed us about this hotel. The location of this hotel to the west lake is only a 20 min walk or a brief 10 min bike ride. Definitely go by bike, there’s good bike lanes all along the way. The breakfast at this hotel really blew us away. A ton of freshly made (literally in front of you) and high quality food with a lot of choices. They recently opened a bar and they had live music at night. We got a complementary drink because it’s new and trying to attract new customers and it was tasty.

The location is excellent, Beishan Road is just outside the door, the Broken Bridge is on the left and the Yuewang Temple is on the right. It is a garden-style hotel, large and quiet enough. You can choose to have breakfast at the 1913 restaurant, which is very stylish. The hotel service is very friendly and the response speed is also fast. The drafting site of the May Fourth Constitution is also in the hotel. It is a satisfactory hotel.
