GGuest UserHad the most ridiculous incident here that soured my entire experience. The room was great. Location is further from metro than you think, but since it's near many malls it's still pretty convenient. But this one incident completely ruined my impression of this hotel. Due to whatever miscommunication or terrible protocols they have, they completely wasted my food delivery order. I had ordered food and drinks for lunch, and the usual thing is they'll get a robot to deliver it up to your room. My food arrived fine. My drink however, was taking much longer than usual. An hour after I already confirmed the drink had arrived at the hotel (delivery rider sent me a confirmation picture) I called the front desk to ask. They assured me they saw my order (with my room number on it) in the waiting queue and that it would be up shortly. I waited another 1.5 hrs. Nothing. At this point I had already given up. I gave them a pass, thinking someone probably made a mistake. No big deal. The same day, at night, I ordered drinks again. Same thing. The delivery rider had already confirmed the drinks had reached the hotel. But even after waiting for 1 hr, nothing. At this point my patience had expired and I went down to find out what was going on. Interestingly, both delivery robots were sitting in the lobby. Unused. And I noticed there were 2 separate drink orders with my room number. Someone who seemed like the manager approached me. He told me I had two orders. Unbelievably, one of them was the afternoon drink order that never reached my room. He claimed it was never sent up because I did not answer the front desk's phone call. I was flabbergasted. Sure, I may have missed a phone call as I was bathing in the morning, but isn't it common courtesy to call until you reach me? Or if the service is as amazing as some of the reviews claim, they could've sent it up to my room? Not withstanding the fact that I had called the front desk that morning to check where my order was! Regardless, that wasn't the most ridiculous part. My current drink order was just sitting there, no action was being taken to ensure it was sent up to my room. The exact same issue was repeating, and no one gave a rat's ass about it. If I hadn't come down to find out what was going on, the drinks would've been wasted again. And yes, I say wasted, because I bought milk tea, so past a certain time it's not safe to drink it anymore. The order is printed clear as day on the outside of the delivery bag. Any staff member who cared enough about their guest's food order or just about not wasting food would've made more effort to contact me. But no. They repeated the same mistake, twice, on the same day. This lack of detail and common sense is really disappointing for a hotel that I was initially wowed by in terms of the room and amenities. I would've been fine to come down and collect my food orders myself, and I've done so at plenty of other hotels that didn't have the robot delivery, but I trusted this hotel to deliver and even gave them a pass the first time based on belief that it could've been a genuine mistake. But to make such a mistake again, and the gall of the manager to imply it was my fault for somehow not picking up their call, is just rude and inexcusable.

PPedro Jose Hernandez ZarzosaI've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area. The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated. We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days. The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

CClaire_PanFinding a hotel this time around took ages, and a lot of the reviews I saw weren't great, including other Huazhu hotels. Even though this place had decent reviews and a friend recommended it, I was still a bit nervous before checking in. **Environment:** The hotel entrance felt a little cramped, but once inside, it instantly felt comfortable. The light, minimalist style is exactly what I like. The room layout was also very pleasant; the lighting and space were both great. **Facilities:** The room had a coffee machine ☕ which was very convenient, and a fridge (with soft drinks inside). The lobby also had water brewed by the hotel itself. **Hygiene:** Very clean! This was my biggest concern, and I gave it a thorough look-over as soon as I entered. **Service:** I was genuinely impressed with the service this time. Staff members would actively approach and ask if I needed anything if we made eye contact, always with a smile. The cleaning lady even politely greeted me with a 'Good morning' as I left my room and asked, 'May I clean the room now?' Just a minor point: the front desk staff said the room they arranged had a better view (facing the golf course), but all I saw was a messy rooftop 🤣. However, it was quiet, which was a plus and didn't affect my overall satisfaction. **Food:** The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, covering Chinese and Western styles, coarse grains, fine noodles, and fruits. If you're not looking for steak for breakfast, it's perfectly adequate for a regular meal (didn't get a full photo, but there's also a coffee machine and toaster 🍞).

EELI1363We had a great stay at this cozy and friendly hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and our room was nice and clean — they even left us some fruit as a welcome gesture. The breakfast was good, and there was also a coffee machine in the lobby, which was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic service on the self laundry they will help you to move it to dry session so that you can pick it up the next morning without you monitoring the wash to be done that definitely plus point. Night supper provide with porridge, Vege and din sum. Oh ya they have robotic to deliver your order to your room. Stragetic location, friendly and helpful service! They have this power banks available at lobby if you don't have one that come in handy. Just a distance walk less then 10mins you have this iconic cafés for you to have your breakfast with the bund view.

GGuest UserI chose the Vienna International Hotel nearby when I went to pick up my child from Pudong Airport. The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was very convenient. I just called the driver, told him the exact pick-up and drop-off times and locations, and he even helped me with my luggage onto the bus. Upon entering the hotel, I felt right at home. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and checked me in quickly. There were also two kinds of hot tea and a coffee machine available nearby. I needed to print some documents, and it was great that the lobby had a computer and printer for guests to use. Both the hallways and the room were clean and tidy, with a very European decor. On the first floor, there's a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic for getting laundry done quickly. I also tried a few Shanghainese dishes at a restaurant in the alley next to the hotel, and they were quite delicious. The hotel breakfast was very rich and plentiful. Overall, choosing this hotel was an excellent decision and a great experience.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus! However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices. Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort. On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.

GGmtzinuoTwo adults and one child stayed here. The service was absolutely excellent! They even upgraded our room for free during check-in and provided adorable slippers for my child. On top of that, they gave my child a gift at check-out. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to bus stops and the ferry terminal, making it easy to get to the Oriental Pearl Tower, Lujiazui, and the Bund. There are also plenty of dining options nearby.

ККонстантин ГладконогихA small, cozy hotel in the Jing'an District, on picturesque Julu Road. The hotel itself consists of two mansions built in the late 1920s by the Asian Petroleum Company, as you can read at the information board on the corner of Chang Shu Lu and Julu Roads. The hotel complex is located in a gated community, where the quiet of the park and the chirping of birds are so unusual in the heart of the vast city. The hotel reception is located in the mansion closest to the entrance, where we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in despite our limited English and complete lack of Chinese. We rented two rooms as there were three of us traveling, and my wife and I lived on the second floor in a fairly spacious room with two windows. There are some minor inconveniences, such as the steep steps on the narrow staircase, which might be a bit difficult for older people, but we had no discomfort, and the hotel staff helped us carry our suitcases. The room was equipped with a TV, refrigerator, desk, safe, and a very, very large bathroom with a window. There was both cold and very hot water, which was perfect, and of course, there was a hairdryer. Our bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but that wasn't a problem for us; the hotel offers a wide range of rooms to suit every taste. The rooms were cleaned and the linens and towels were changed regularly, and we didn't notice it at all. It was very quiet at night; we didn't hear anything, although I've read reviews that the hotel has good soundproofing, but we couldn't say that. Generally, staying at this hotel, you have a very strong sense of privacy, as if the entire mansion were yours, but in the morning, at breakfast, seeing your neighbors, you realize that's not the case. It's also a special pleasure to open the windows early in the morning and let in the sun, fresh air, and birdsong. The hotel is remarkable for its undeniable historical value. You immerse yourself in the unhurried silence of a measured existence amidst a small park with its living inhabitants, such as birds and squirrels, where nothing disturbs your peace, either in your room or beyond. You undoubtedly enjoy the history as you admire the magnificent staircases, old mirrors, and Art Nouveau hallways, as well as the manicured lawns and trees in the courtyard, where you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the peace and sunshine. The hotel offers a small breakfast and excellent coffee. There are very decent restaurants in the neighboring buildings, and several coffee shops are within a three-minute walk, making it very convenient. The metro is a five-minute walk from the hotel, and when I called a taxi through the DIdi app, the drivers always arrived. And all this is surrounded by quiet, cozy historic streets shaded by old plane trees, a pleasant place to stroll at any time. There are many restaurants, including Mediterranean cuisine, bakeries, bars, and wine bars within walking distance. Nanjing Road is about a 10-minute taxi ride away, and the main attractions are easily reached on foot, so it's best to enjoy the surrounding beauty. I really regret not having visited Sun Yat-sen's residence, which is also within walking distance. All in all, if you love the spirit of good old Shanghai and appreciate peace and quiet amidst the vast modern metropolis, you should definitely check out this stunning hotel, which I'll definitely be eager to visit again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, located near Shanghai Railway Station. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early and upgraded my room. Although there was a language barrier, they were very helpful and used a translation app to communicate with me. The hotel also has free facilities such as a kids’ playroom, gym, and laundry room.
