GGuest UserWhen I came to Huinan this time, I chose to stay at Heyitang Hotel. The whole check-in experience was far beyond my expectations. I sincerely recommend it to friends who come to Pudong for travel, parent-child play or business trips. The hotel's geographical location is full of advantages. It is right next to Huinan Subway Station, and it takes only two or three minutes to walk to the entrance and exit of Line 16. The surrounding supermarkets and restaurants are all available, and daily shopping and dining are very convenient. The hotel is also equipped with an exclusive free shuttle bus, which can go directly to Shanghai Wildlife Park, Disney, Haichang Ocean Park and other popular scenic spots. There is also a shuttle service to and from Pudong Airport, which saves the trouble of repeatedly changing taxis, and traveling is worry-free and effort-saving. The overall decoration of the hotel is simple and elegant, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the public area is meticulously cleaned every day, which is clean and elegant. The room type I live in is spacious, the lighting and ventilation effect is very good, the whole house is clean and odorless, and the hygiene details are particularly in place. The bathroom is dry and wet, and there is no dead corner in the washing area. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the fatigue is instantly dissipated when lying down. The room is equipped with high-speed WiFi and intelligent equipment. The hot water is stable and sufficient, and the living comfort is very high. The corridor is quiet at night, not disturbed by noise at all, and the sleep quality is very good. The service is even more heartwarming. The front desk staff is warm and polite. The check-in and check-out process is efficient and fast, and there is no need to wait for a long time throughout the whole process. During this period, if you have any needs, please inform the front desk, and we can respond in time. The hotel also has intelligent robot delivery, which is novel and convenient. At the same time, self-service laundry rooms and gyms are open. Long-term travel or short-distance travel can meet the needs. There is also a free children's play area with children, and parent-child families can easily free their hands. The catering facilities are also particularly considerate. The buffet breakfast is rich in categories, including Chinese and Western meals, fresh fruits and vegetables, and noodles and porridge, which are fresh and delicious. In the evening, warm night snacks are also served, and you can also have hot meals when you come back late, which is very humane. The hotel has its own free parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking when you come by yourself. Judging from the comprehensive location, environment, service and cost-effectiveness, this Heyitang Hotel in Huinan is impeccable. Next time I come to Huinan, Pudong, I will definitely choose this place again, and I sincerely recommend it to all travelers.

GGuest UserHad the most ridiculous incident here that soured my entire experience. The room was great. Location is further from metro than you think, but since it's near many malls it's still pretty convenient. But this one incident completely ruined my impression of this hotel. Due to whatever miscommunication or terrible protocols they have, they completely wasted my food delivery order. I had ordered food and drinks for lunch, and the usual thing is they'll get a robot to deliver it up to your room. My food arrived fine. My drink however, was taking much longer than usual. An hour after I already confirmed the drink had arrived at the hotel (delivery rider sent me a confirmation picture) I called the front desk to ask. They assured me they saw my order (with my room number on it) in the waiting queue and that it would be up shortly. I waited another 1.5 hrs. Nothing. At this point I had already given up. I gave them a pass, thinking someone probably made a mistake. No big deal. The same day, at night, I ordered drinks again. Same thing. The delivery rider had already confirmed the drinks had reached the hotel. But even after waiting for 1 hr, nothing. At this point my patience had expired and I went down to find out what was going on. Interestingly, both delivery robots were sitting in the lobby. Unused. And I noticed there were 2 separate drink orders with my room number. Someone who seemed like the manager approached me. He told me I had two orders. Unbelievably, one of them was the afternoon drink order that never reached my room. He claimed it was never sent up because I did not answer the front desk's phone call. I was flabbergasted. Sure, I may have missed a phone call as I was bathing in the morning, but isn't it common courtesy to call until you reach me? Or if the service is as amazing as some of the reviews claim, they could've sent it up to my room? Not withstanding the fact that I had called the front desk that morning to check where my order was! Regardless, that wasn't the most ridiculous part. My current drink order was just sitting there, no action was being taken to ensure it was sent up to my room. The exact same issue was repeating, and no one gave a rat's ass about it. If I hadn't come down to find out what was going on, the drinks would've been wasted again. And yes, I say wasted, because I bought milk tea, so past a certain time it's not safe to drink it anymore. The order is printed clear as day on the outside of the delivery bag. Any staff member who cared enough about their guest's food order or just about not wasting food would've made more effort to contact me. But no. They repeated the same mistake, twice, on the same day. This lack of detail and common sense is really disappointing for a hotel that I was initially wowed by in terms of the room and amenities. I would've been fine to come down and collect my food orders myself, and I've done so at plenty of other hotels that didn't have the robot delivery, but I trusted this hotel to deliver and even gave them a pass the first time based on belief that it could've been a genuine mistake. But to make such a mistake again, and the gall of the manager to imply it was my fault for somehow not picking up their call, is just rude and inexcusable.

GGuest UserWe stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved. The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient. Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them. Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent! Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room. Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

JJLLChunThere were eight of us, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, doing their best to arrange rooms on the same floor for us. Before we left, they even gave us some complimentary souvenirs. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

CClaire_PanFinding a hotel this time around took ages, and a lot of the reviews I saw weren't great, including other Huazhu hotels. Even though this place had decent reviews and a friend recommended it, I was still a bit nervous before checking in. **Environment:** The hotel entrance felt a little cramped, but once inside, it instantly felt comfortable. The light, minimalist style is exactly what I like. The room layout was also very pleasant; the lighting and space were both great. **Facilities:** The room had a coffee machine ☕ which was very convenient, and a fridge (with soft drinks inside). The lobby also had water brewed by the hotel itself. **Hygiene:** Very clean! This was my biggest concern, and I gave it a thorough look-over as soon as I entered. **Service:** I was genuinely impressed with the service this time. Staff members would actively approach and ask if I needed anything if we made eye contact, always with a smile. The cleaning lady even politely greeted me with a 'Good morning' as I left my room and asked, 'May I clean the room now?' Just a minor point: the front desk staff said the room they arranged had a better view (facing the golf course), but all I saw was a messy rooftop 🤣. However, it was quiet, which was a plus and didn't affect my overall satisfaction. **Food:** The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, covering Chinese and Western styles, coarse grains, fine noodles, and fruits. If you're not looking for steak for breakfast, it's perfectly adequate for a regular meal (didn't get a full photo, but there's also a coffee machine and toaster 🍞).

KKei ItoshikiA huge thank you to the hotel staff for the amazing service! They didn't just take care of things for us every day — they also helped us receive our packages, order stuff, and even remotely helped me activate roaming from abroad. I honestly can't thank them enough! The hotel itself is a five-minute walk from the metro, super convenient for getting to the city center. The Chinese-style breakfasts were incredible — the wontons honestly gave me the will to live every morning ❤️

AAnonymous UserThe surrounding area is very convenient for shopping, with Raffles City North Bund just across the street. The breakfast is good, and the view from the Sky Palace on the top floor is beautiful. There were only two bottles of water in the room, and a note indicated an additional charge of 2 yuan for each extra bottle. This practice feels a bit odd, as even smaller hotels usually provide an ample supply of bottled water.

ἈστραῖοςLocated in the heart of Shanghai's historic Juxingchang area, the former guesthouse of Air Force Unit 4 holds an unmissable and pivotal position in modern Chinese history. To be honest, I was initially hesitant; I had originally booked the Yan'an Hotel, but was persuaded by the travel agency to switch to this place. On the eve of the 24th anniversary of '913' (September 13th), I was in the attic room here, rushing to meet my school deadlines. On the evening of September 13th, Shanghai was hit by a heavy downpour. My family and I were having dinner at the adjacent Xi Family Garden. We borrowed two umbrellas from Manager Zhang at the front desk, one of his own and one from a colleague. I'm truly grateful for this trust, and also want to thank Manager Zhang for his thoughtful service over the past two days.

MMio Frantic+ The hotel is very close to Shanghai Railway station. Just 8 minutes of walk. + Very convenient to get to the tourist attractions like the Bund and Nanjing Road pedestrian street. Either with the subway or buss 64. +The bed was comfortable. +They have a laundry room which is good, - Something must have been wrong with the drying machine. The laundry was still very damp despite three hours in the dryer so we had to hang the clothes in the room. - I found the smart toilet uncomfortable. I tried to adjust the water jet, reading the manual using a translator app, but the water jet was still misplaced, too hard and cold. + The tea and the servis in the room was very cute and I enjoyed drinking the tea 😃 - The power chord of the kettle was too short to reach the outlet.🤔 I had to put a cup underneath. - Sometimes I could sense a smell of cigarette smoke or odor of sewer in the room coming back to the room after a day out. It disappeared after turning on the ventilation/AC
