It's not a bad hotel, but I don't think I could comfortably stay for multiple nights. 🫠 The Wi-Fi is weak. 😅 There was no information about the amenities, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The strong shower pressure was a plus. Also, there's a large residential area right in front of the hotel, and there are restaurants and other shops within it, so I didn't have any problems finding places to eat. (I don't know about late at night.)"

From the start of coming, the check-in process went well and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. the location is also very strategic,especially for those who want to do activities around mangga dua as access to the shopping area and dining is quite easy. i stayed in the deluxe room.the room feels good to stay,it is quite spacious,and the room conditions are also clean and tidy.the bed is comfortable so that you can rest well after a day of activities. the bathroom is also quite clean and the facilities available are enough for the needs of staying. One thing I like is the atmosphere of the hotel is quite comfortable and the location is easy to reach. For business trips or short vacations, I think this hotel is quite recommended as it is practical and it is in a strategic location. Overall, my stay was pleasant. The staff service was good, the room was comfortable and clean, the location was strategic, and the price I think was quite consistent with the facilities obtained. Thank you StarRay Hotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square for the service and stay. 👍 Recommended and will definitely consider staying here again if visiting Mangga Dua area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Location: The place itself is good, clean, and just a short distance away from the main road & PIK Avenue. Some rooms have nice views overlooking the beach side. Ammenities: There are things like slippers, toothbrush, hair dryer, ironing table. They also provide cutleries and eating utensils. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a water dispenser as well. Service: We were checked into a room that’s apparently not ours 😅 in the beginning I was also confused when I entered the room because it didn’t look like the pictures (we booked for a 2br room and got a single room) but the description was confusing (Premier room, 2 br; but underneath it said 1 room/1 king bed — so I second guessed myself and thought “well, ok”). They called our room at 11pm and said there was a mistake in the system and we were in the wrong room. They were nice about it, but two of us were already sleeping and we had to wake up and make the move 😅 the newer room was what I had expected when booking, and it was super nice! Regretfully if only they told us this hours in advance, we could have enjoyed the room more. By that time we just essentially moved to sleep 🥲."

The property (seems so for most Mercure hotels I stay recently) is a little old and outdated though……shower, tap, dispensers…..all seem to be falling off or not working in good condition anymore….. Personally, I feel compensated by the nice course view from my room though….."

"First of all I must commend the hotel for the excellent level of service and making sure that the customers are satisfied, this is the primary factor in the service and hospitality industry. At first we got a room that wasn't very good as there was a bad smell coming from the bed. After complaining at the front desk they promptly upgraded us to a better room without any issues. The room is well furnished with all the necessary amenities including kettle, hair dryer, hot shower, and so on. Next day in the morning we got our breakfast for 80.000/person and it was pretty good."

"Absolutely terrible. The room's window was fake, opening to a wall and a makeshift canopy further out. The entire hotel seemed to be under one big tent. In my room, the bathroom drain was faulty, causing water to spill out everywhere after a shower. I wonder if other rooms have the same issue. The facilities are ancient; the bedside lamp wouldn't turn off. It took ages for the front desk to send someone, only to find out it was broken. Breakfast food quality was awful, completely inedible. For the same price, it doesn't even compare to another hotel near the airport. Avoid at all costs."
