"I checked in quite late and went straight to bed. The next morning, when I pulled back the covers, I found oil stains on the sheets, like from spicy strips (I hadn't ordered any takeout or eaten anything). It really made me wonder if the bedding had actually been changed. The carpet wasn't just dirty; I noticed something shiny on it. On closer inspection, it was a needle. Luckily, I was wearing my own slippers; the disposable hotel slippers are so thin, it would have easily pricked my foot."

"Hotel in a Heritage Building in the heart of the Historic District 中央大街 I was on the cloud 9 when arrived at the hotel and realized it’s right in the famous walking street, what a location! But pleasant discoveries didn’t stop amaze us, as we found a 100 years old restaurant with the finest Russian cuisine actually across the road, so we had the best lunch ever overlooking our hotel facade in the window. The hotel is in the historic building, but the interior was fully refurbished and nowadays looks modernized version of the classic 20 century style, everything is fresh and brand new, all the materials and fabrics are carefully picked to imitate the atmosphere of the 1920s. We had our room with the open terrace on the top floor, so you may view the walking street day and night with the lights on. Splendid views! Interestingly, no matter how huge crowd of tourists down there was, we had not hear any annoying noise whatsoever! As well as we had not notice any neighbors talk or movement from the next room, the quietness of the place is incredible! I couldn’t believe we were in the city center, no any beep or early morning vendors yell, or whatever may disturb your morning deep sleep in China. I loved the interior design so much, the idea of the Art Deco style wardrobe with the tv and storage system inside - is simply stunning! The bathtub was so deep and vast - you could call it a mini pool, it took me about an hour to fill it to the middle level! The shower system is great, because of the very high ceiling, it gives a waterfall vibe! The toilet room is beautifully decorated. There’s a spacious dressing room too. We had a nice breakfast on the second floor - another elegant room and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were not really hungry by the time they provided their complimentary Afternoon tea on the 6 th floor, as well as I was not too lucky with the hotel bonus for taking photos in the dress, those dresses were all of the smaller size. The service was outstanding, friendly and warmhearted. The tv set is really cool, with the tv box, so you may choose any film and watch any channel. This is not common in China, mostly the choice is super limited. And what was the greatest about our stay - the bedding. The blankets are made of fluffy weightless material, just like a cloud, the pillow choice is fantastic, the sheets and blanket case fabric- smooth and soft, silk alike. Comfortable to the top notch! Overall we had an amazing time here! For that price it seems almost unreal, but it’s true in Harbin!"

"My stay was great this time. The airport shuttle service was on point, getting to the airport was super quick, only about seven or eight minutes. The front desk staff was patient and attentive, and there were welcome fruits upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, which is especially convenient for travelers catching a flight. "I recently stayed at Harbin Hashi Shirley Hotel for almost two weeks. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for dining and entertainment. The room was clean and comfortable; as someone who usually struggles with sleep, I actually slept exceptionally well here. The bedding was also very comfortable! Most importantly, the front desk ladies and the cleaning staff were all incredibly nice, providing excellent service. I will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommended!"
