"This hotel is quite convenient if you're planning to visit attractions in the Asakusa/Ginza area. I stayed here once before when I was traveling alone, so I chose it again this time. The hotel's location is relatively convenient, with the train station right across the street. However, if you have luggage and need to use an elevator, you'll have to walk about 200 meters. The most delightful surprise was waking up to a row of cherry blossoms right outside my window! The hotel staff were also excellent; they even walked us all the way to the laundry room. (The only minor inconvenience is that the laundry room is in a small separate building outside, and it's not a washer-dryer combo. Each time, you have to go down to the first floor and walk through a small path to get to it, which is a bit troublesome, and it gets a little dark at night…) It's very convenient that you can buy travel passes right at the hotel front desk."

"This is quite a big hotel with many floors and many rooms. This means there can be quite a long queue to check in during peak hours. The reception staff are quite efficient though. Facilities are excellent with many restaurants and even a bowling alley. They offer a luggage storage service that is very useful and not available in most other hotels. Location is great right next to Shinagawa Station."

"A hidden gem in the city that's a healing haven – I could stay at this hotel countless times! I stumbled upon this treasure during a business trip, and it's immediately made it onto my 'Priority Business Trip Hotels' list. I just have to rave about it! As soon as I got out of the car, a server proactively helped with my luggage. The moment I walked through the lobby doors, I was impressed – the aroma was a subtle citrus, not overwhelming or pungent, and the background music was a gentle jazz. Even the few minutes I waited to check in felt relaxing; none of that crowded, chaotic feeling you get at other hotels. My room was an even bigger surprise! The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city's central park. In the evening, I watched the sunset paint the clouds a honey color, and at night, the warm, soft lighting was never harsh. The bedding was just the right balance of soft and firm; lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud. As someone who usually struggles to sleep in new places, I fell asleep instantly last night, and a good chunk of my travel fatigue just melted away. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the toiletries had a light, woody scent. The shower pressure was strong, and hot water came out super fast, leaving me completely relaxed after a wash. The breakfast selection also exceeded expectations – freshly cooked wontons with generous fillings, aromatic freshly ground coffee, and even the fruit was neatly cut and fresh, not like those wilted fruits that have been sitting out all day. The detail that touched me the most was when the front desk, knowing it was my birthday (I mentioned it when filling out my check-in info), sent up a small box of handmade cake and a handwritten card that evening. The handwriting was a bit crooked, but it was incredibly heartwarming. This kind of understated thoughtfulness is a hundred times more pleasant than any flashy marketing. The value for money is truly excellent, making it perfect for both business trips and a weekend city 'micro-vacation.' I've already recommended it to colleagues who frequently travel for business. "Before coming, I was a bit worried about the hotel's age and potential issues with its facilities. However, upon arrival, it exceeded my expectations. The environment is top-notch, and the hygiene is excellent. They provide a wide range of high-quality amenities. The room was tidied up perfectly every day. Key points: The hotel's location is superb, extremely close to the central shopping area of Ikebukuro. Even on rainy days, spending an entire day at Sunshine City, which is connected to the hotel, is no problem. Furthermore, the dining options in Ikebukuro are surprisingly affordable. You can find quality meals with good service for 1000-1500 yen. Even if you don't want to eat out, the FamilyMart on the first floor of the hotel can cover all your meals with a rich variety of options. Lastly, the transportation is very convenient. From Ikebukuro East Station, you can easily reach Shinjuku and Shibuya. From the West Station, you can get to Ueno, Ginza, and Sumida."

"It was a stress-free experience having booked at Narita Gateway Hotel. Its free shuttle bus ride going to Narita Station, Aeon Mall is commendable. It enabled us to save money on taxi fare and the saved money for transport was used to buy some souvenirs. Our stay at said hotel was made more pleasant by two staff at the hotel reception, one guy named Pun Sharti (to me, he was very approachable and attends to hotel guests with warmth and smile, too bad, we didn't see him when we checked out) and a female staff who likewise has a pleasant countenance but whose name we weren't able to get. Booking costs are cheaper than the others."

"Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Staff were super friendly and all amenities catered for. You don't need to bring any toiletries with you as they're all available alongside vending machines and laundry facilities (I used these and they were fantastic)! Rooms are super clean and shower was delightful! Perfect area and limited other tourists which was fantastic. Shopping and convenience stores very close and a 2 min walk to the station."

"The location is fantastic, right by Senso-ji Temple and the shopping district, with a subway station nearby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room size is also quite generous for Tokyo standards. The bathroom is excellent, with a separate shower and a small bathtub. You can even see the Skytree from the restaurant. However, and this is a big however, the breakfast is absolutely terrible. As you can see in the picture, there's very little variety, and it's all 'Western' food with no hot dishes or live cooking stations. You can order three additional toast options, but they are all equally unappetizing. So, definitely skip the breakfast; it's not worth the money. Go eat outside instead. But, and this is another big but, whatever you do, do NOT go to the Duck-Onion Noodle Restaurant next door. It's incredibly bad, too salty and fishy. If you see many Chinese people queuing there at night, the only reason is that it's the only noodle place open on that street at that hour."

"remm Akihabara is in an excellent location, right next to major rail stations, Yodobashi, shopping malls, and plenty of restaurants. The room was large by Tokyo standards, with a nice-sized TV, great views of Akihabara and Tokyo Skytree, plus thoughtful touches like a massage chair and advanced bidet. However, cleanliness needs improvement. Linen quality, dust on doors, and an overall dated feel were noticeable. A lot of space was taken up by the bathroom despite having no bathtub, which felt like a missed opportunity. Overall, very convenient and comfortable, but upkeep could be better."

"It is given a free service shuttle bus from Narita train station to Hotel , AEON Mall and airport. Good service and on time . I Like the Onsen in the Hotel, need paid. . But the hotel is a bit Old. The hotel staff is an Indian girl ( in the photo) her service is very good and very patient , luckily she knows English 👏 The hotel does not provide drinking water."

"This hotel is perfectly located, just about a 5-minute walk from Haneda T3 terminal! If you're arriving by flight, you'll find it on the Arrivals (到着) level. If you're coming from the city via the Keikyu line, head to the Arrivals level first. Look for HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN/羽田空港花园 (as shown in pictures 2-3), go inside, and just keep walking straight. There are many shops along the way, perfect for picking up souvenirs. Eventually, you'll see a Lawson convenience store, and the hotel lobby is right behind it. The distinctive decorative pillar (as shown in picture 5) is quite beautiful~ The room wasn't huge, but we only had one 30-inch suitcase for two people, and we were able to open it and place it comfortably. We chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next morning and didn't want to get up early in the city. Plus, you can enjoy the hot springs (public bath)! As someone from the south, this was my second time trying a naked hot spring experience after Yangzhou, and I even got to drink the milk that's often seen in anime after a hot spring bath – truly a dimension-breaking experience. In summary, this hotel is indeed excellent in all aspects and highly recommended for business travelers! What I especially want to share and praise is the hotel's service – it's incredibly humane and considerate! When checking in, you can use the self-service machine – it supports Chinese, just scan your passport and fill in your information. The room provides wet/dry slippers, toiletries, and even loungewear/pajamas if you plan to visit the hot springs. We had a last-minute request to add a person to our room (a friend who was with us at the hot springs couldn't get back to their accommodation in the city due to a Yamanote Line service disruption that day). The hotel doesn't seem to have triple rooms, and there was no space for an extra bed in our current room, but the front desk, even late at night, responded very promptly and responsibly to our request. Ultimately, they moved us to a slightly larger room and added a bed! While we waited, they proactively contacted us to update us on the progress and estimated waiting time – honestly, if my colleagues at work were this reliable, I'd have no worries! All in all, my stay at Villa Fontaine this time far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely lean towards choosing this place again when I visit Japan in the future! P.S. Before booking, I saw on Xiaohongshu that this hotel has a seal-themed room, but I couldn't find it anywhere on Ctrip, or even on their official website 😢"
