AAnonymous UserHad an enjoyable stay! The hotel was right opposite Ginza Line of Asakusa Station, and we could take the lift to the station via the exit near the shopping street! The hotel was also walkable to Sensoji and accessible to Tokyo Skytree via bus. The room was clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. Lots of food options surrounding the hotel as well. Highly recommend!

1110206****This hotel is a hidden gem, located just about 100 meters from Shinjuku JR Station. Despite being in a quiet spot, it's surrounded by a very bustling commercial area with many large department stores, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. There's an express train that goes directly to the airport in about an hour. The room size is quite generous; you can open two large suitcases, which is a real bonus for Tokyo. Definitely recommended!

ZZhengzhuoxiahuashuoyanjingThe hotel is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from Akihabara Station, a short walk from the JR exit. The front desk has English-speaking staff to assist with check-in. If you sign up as a member during check-in, you can choose between a gashapon or a 1-hour late check-out.
Japanese hotel rooms are generally small, but they are impeccably clean. Most hotels in Tokyo don't offer complimentary bottled water, but the front desk gave us two bottles upon arrival, and the tap water is potable. Each floor also has vending machines and microwaves, though the hotel's vending machines only accept cash, no card payments.
Breakfast is served next to the front desk, but it's not very appealing to a Chinese palate. However, there are plenty of Starbucks and convenience stores nearby where you can grab a bite.
The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite being right next to the railway, it's not noisy at all.

Ssummer2018Everything was excellent, aside from the room being a bit on the small side. It's incredibly close to Senso-ji Temple, just a 3-5 minute walk away. The subway station is a little further, but still manageable. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store conveniently located nearby. The front desk thoughtfully provided DHC facial cleanser and basic skincare items, and we received complimentary bottled water daily. Our first day's check-in was self-service. On the day of our departure, there was a staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese, which was very helpful. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

GGuest UserKeio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is situated in an excellent location and is very convenient for getting around. The staff are highly professional and extremely helpful. I was struggling with my shopping bags, and when a staff member noticed me, he quickly came over to assist without being asked.
I would also like to commend another staff member at the information counter, though I unfortunately did not catch his name. When I asked for directions to a train station to visit the Making of Harry Potter, he kindly offered to walk me all the way to the station. As it was my first time staying at this hotel, I was truly grateful for his assistance.
The room I booked included access to the Sky Lounge, which had an awesome view and was an excellent place to relax. Entry was complimentary for hotel guests, while non-guests have to pay. Drinks and Starbucks coffee were also available for free, which was a nice bonus.
I am very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again.

CCleav3rI've always been a loyal fan of Ascott, but the Ascott Tokyo really left me speechless. Upon check-in, we were informed that the entire building would have a power outage on our last day, meaning all guests had to vacate their rooms before noon. What's more, luggage storage wasn't allowed, so we had to drag our five suitcases ourselves to the JR Tokyo Station, about a 10-minute walk away, and pay 5000 yen to store them. The hotel offered no compensation or even assistance with transporting the luggage to the station. Even more outrageous, the power went out twice in the middle of the night that day, causing the washing machine to stop mid-cycle and forcing us to rewash a whole load of clothes. Additionally, the power outage was announced to start at noon, but breakfast wasn't served at all that morning. At check-in, the front desk staff had us register for a new ASR membership and gave us breakfast vouchers, promising they could be used any day, yet when we tried to use them, breakfast wasn't available? What a joke. Please note, we were only informed of this entire power outage incident upon check-in. Why wasn't this communicated in advance? A power outage affecting the entire building is a major event, and the hotel must have known about it well in advance. If we had been notified earlier, we would have had time to choose another hotel. Instead, the hotel's complete inaction left us with no other options upon arrival. This is completely unacceptable in Japan, a country known for its excellent customer service!

__M1382977****The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right outside the subway exit. The room wasn't particularly small either.
There's a corner in the lobby with various alcoholic beverages where you can mix your own cocktails. It's wonderful to fix yourself a drink after coming back from a hot summer day out!
They don't clean the rooms daily, which is great because you don't have to worry about being disturbed, and it's environmentally friendly. Fresh towels are hung on the door daily, so you never have to worry about not having clean towels.
If you need your room cleaned, you can just let the front desk know.

JjellykoiThis hotel is quite famous, so the price isn't cheap; it's comparable to a 500 RMB hotel in China. Not all rooms offer great views. Lower floor rooms only look out onto air conditioners and the roofs of nearby low-rise buildings. I recommend booking a higher floor room. The elevator lobby offers excellent views, worth checking out. Its convenient location is, of course, a big plus.
