Amazing
DDruchiiHaving enjoyed a previous stay in February, I chose to return this July. I requested an east-facing room and was delighted that my wish was granted. The sunrise view towards the Skytree and the National Diet Building around 4:30 AM in summer is absolutely breathtaking, easily rivaling any dedicated observation deck experience. The Japanese set breakfast was both substantial and delicious, and the serene view of pine trees reflected in the restaurant's pond was incredibly soothing. Furthermore, perhaps owing to its prime location near the National Diet Building and the Prime Minister's Official Residence, the hotel offers incredibly convenient direct underground access to public transportation, yet the street-level environment remains remarkably quiet and tranquil. The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly, and the presence of Chinese-speaking personnel ensures that Chinese guests will face virtually no language barriers. On a delightful side note, the ambient fragrance used in The Capitol Hotel Tokyu's corridors is utterly captivating – I highly recommend making it available for purchase at the hotel's souvenir shop! I will absolutely be rebooking here for my next trip to Tokyo.

HHuangtiaowendemaoThe location is absolutely fantastic! It's so convenient to get anywhere on the Ginza Line, and the Asakusa Line goes directly to the airport. There are malls, Don Quijote, and drugstores nearby. The best part is that there's a 7-Eleven and Ichiran Ramen right downstairs, and it's only a 3-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple. I stayed for five nights, and while the room isn't huge, it's definitely sufficient, and the bed was bigger than I expected.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit far from the subway station but close to Senso-ji Temple. The cleanliness was subpar; I noticed hair on the bed that hadn't been cleaned. The management also seemed a bit disorganized. It appears the reservation for one of our rooms was somehow misused or taken by someone else, and the front desk could only offer us a temporary room change. Initially, they couldn't even put us on the same floor, and it took some effort to eventually get us rooms on the same level. This room change then led to another issue: breakfast for that room was missing the next day. It took a lot of back-and-forth to sort it out, which was a huge waste of time. The hotel staff only offered a few apologies. If this were a hotel in China at a similar price point, they would have offered various compensations or small gifts. I'm increasingly feeling that domestic hotels offer better service.

GGuest UserThe hotel stay is wonderful. The hotel is huge with an enormous lobby, looks sleek, and is classy with the dim light. The lobby is located at 20th floor, no comments on the bf as I only booked the room without bf. Check in and out are effortless. Staff is friendly and approachable. Amenities in room are plentiful and abundant. All shampoo, conditioner and bath lotion come in big bottles so it is more than sufficient for use. Inside bathroom, you can control the volume and listen to the TV you on outside so it is very useful. In room has the Alexa which you can easily communicate with it for anything of interest to you. Besides, the hotel is very conveniently located, near to Shinjuku station and the nearby shopping malls. The room is huge and comes with bathtub and it has a balcony area too. Highly recommended for staying here in Tokyo. You will not regret definitely!

TTal ShThe hotel is very very close to the South exits of Shinjuku Station, there is train from/to the Narita airport - Narita Express (NEX). We used the laundry room, you just need a 100 yen coins (from the reception) - 600 yen for wash+dry of 3Kg + up to 300 for extra drier time. You enter a code to lock the machine for your use only. We took the breakfast of the hotel and it includes every thing. We also use the hotel service to keep our extra luggage for a week (when we went to south of Japan). Make the hotel reservation by Trip.com.

YYangmiemieaichilingshiMy stay at the Akihabara Washington Hotel was quite enjoyable. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Akihabara Station, making it super convenient to get there with luggage in just a few minutes – perfect for first-time visitors to Tokyo. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so grabbing a bite or exploring in the evening is a breeze. While the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed, clean, and tidy, with enough space for my luggage. The soundproofing was also better than I expected, allowing me to sleep soundly. The front desk staff were very professional, and communication in English was no problem; both check-in and check-out went smoothly. Overall, it felt like a consistently reliable and comfortable hotel, one that you can count on not to disappoint. If your itinerary mainly involves exploring central Tokyo, especially areas like Akihabara, Shinjuku, and Ueno, this place is an excellent base. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

EEmma127The location is great, this is my second time staying here with my kids. This time, I booked a Deluxe Twin room in the Main Building, and the newly renovated rooms are definitely much newer than those in the South Building! You can see Mount Fuji from the South Building, but not from the Main Building. However, it was a weekend during our stay, and there were many tour groups, which made it very noisy! The hotel assigned us a room on the 34th floor, and it was a corner room at that! Very unaccommodating, especially since I had previously requested *not* to have a corner room. I contacted Trip.com, and their customer service was excellent and very prompt! I'm very satisfied with Trip.com's after-sales support! From the room, we could see the light show across the street, and the toiletries were by L'Occitane. There was also Chinese cleaning staff on our floor. I hope the hotel can arrange a relatively better location next time. Booking so far in advance, only to be given such a poor room assignment, was truly disappointing!

CCleav3rI've always been a loyal fan of Ascott, but the Ascott Tokyo really left me speechless. Upon check-in, we were informed that the entire building would have a power outage on our last day, meaning all guests had to vacate their rooms before noon. What's more, luggage storage wasn't allowed, so we had to drag our five suitcases ourselves to the JR Tokyo Station, about a 10-minute walk away, and pay 5000 yen to store them. The hotel offered no compensation or even assistance with transporting the luggage to the station. Even more outrageous, the power went out twice in the middle of the night that day, causing the washing machine to stop mid-cycle and forcing us to rewash a whole load of clothes. Additionally, the power outage was announced to start at noon, but breakfast wasn't served at all that morning. At check-in, the front desk staff had us register for a new ASR membership and gave us breakfast vouchers, promising they could be used any day, yet when we tried to use them, breakfast wasn't available? What a joke. Please note, we were only informed of this entire power outage incident upon check-in. Why wasn't this communicated in advance? A power outage affecting the entire building is a major event, and the hotel must have known about it well in advance. If we had been notified earlier, we would have had time to choose another hotel. Instead, the hotel's complete inaction left us with no other options upon arrival. This is completely unacceptable in Japan, a country known for its excellent customer service!

ZZhongguangguangHonestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor. Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water. Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily. The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip. Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away. The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.

GGuest UserGood location, near Tokyo Big Sight. Very convenient for business travellers or conference participants. Polite and friendly hotel staff. Small clean room with excellent breakfast. Limited amenities in the hotel, as it is more like a business hotel. Food options are available within the hotel and nearby malls. Not forgetting the Gundam statue nearby.
