"From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with how clean and well-maintained the entire place was. The common areas were tidy and the sleeping rooms were organised and clean too. The staff here deserves a special mention. They were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. No matter what I needed, whether it was recommendations for things to do in Tokyo or assistance with directions, they were always ready to help. The overall atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and relaxed. It was easy to meet other travelers while still enjoying a peaceful, laid-back environment. GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel as a family for 2+3 nights, in different rooms. The room was spacious and had a small kitchen and a washing machine, plus a large shower. We ran into an issue in the second room: the previous guests had left the air conditioning on heating at 30 degrees, and it wouldn't start. We're not used to heating with AC, so we tried different modes and didn't think to just lower the temperature ourselves. We contacted customer support, but since they don't work overnight, we only got a response in the morning. Ultimately, we had to start the AC at 20-22 degrees and then gradually raise it to 26. It's worth remembering that Japan doesn't have central heating, so rooms will always feel a bit cool. There's paid luggage storage right by the entrance, which is probably good if you're worried about leaving valuables in your room. Also, there are luggage lockers at almost every subway station. For a late checkout, it's probably best to leave your bags somewhere in the city center. We really liked the neighborhood: lots of 24-hour convenience stores. Near the MCD subway station, there's Starbucks and local restaurants. In the shopping center, past the Starbucks, they have excellent donuts in the morning, and good sushi too. In the evenings, we walked to the tower. The value for money for a family room was excellent. Thanks for the hospitality!

OOctaviane Stefina EnggraWe checked in around 11 PM, and staff were still available, making the process quick and smooth. The lobby offered comics and other entertainment. Free breakfast was also served from 5 AM to 10 AM. While some noise is unavoidable, light sleepers can use the provided earplugs. For me, someone who falls asleep the moment my head hits the pillow, it wasn't an issue at all. The bathrooms were spotless and fully equipped. You could arrive with absolutely nothing and be perfectly fine.

GGuest UserGiven that I booked our room over six months in advance of our three-night stay, I was a bit surprised when looking at the floor plan later that our room was the smallest on the floor! It was actually the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in while traveling in Japan. The lighting of the room was weak and dark. Breakfast is a 10-minute walk away at Denny's and all of the five choices come with slabs of bacon and sausages--not cool for people who don't care for greasy pork products. The bath robes are 'one-size fits all' but tiny. The management of this hotel should perhaps consider how to get guests to return for future stays--we certainly won't.

GGuest UserGot everything you need, you get towels and like 7 showers or so, only problem was that the keycode for the room 20 minutes before checkout already didn’t work anymore, but the staff all spoke English so it was no problem

WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.

EErnest_LAWAsakusa Yoshino Hotel: A Tranquil Edo-Style Inn Amidst the Bustle I was absolutely charmed by Asakusa Yoshino Hotel on my first stay! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Nakamise Shopping Street and taking a rickshaw ride. Yet, it's tucked away in an alley, offering surprising peace and quiet. The Japanese tatami room was spotlessly clean and refreshing, with wooden furniture and paper sliding doors. Before bed, sitting cross-legged and gazing at the old streetlights outside the window, felt like stepping back into the Edo period. The owners are a super friendly couple; communication in English was no problem, and they even proactively recommended a fantastic tempura spot nearby. For breakfast, you can choose between a Japanese set meal or a Western-style light breakfast – the miso soup was unbelievably delicious! They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, showing incredible attention to detail. For those on a budget who want an authentic Tokyo experience, this place is a no-brainer – the value for money is outstanding!

SSunfower88PROS : - Great location on the main street near the junction - Only 2-3 mins walk from Daimon subway station Exit A4 / to walk to Hamanatsucho JR and Monorail stations to the airport about 7-15 mins - Elevator and shoe boxes with keys on the ground floor - Female only capsules are on the 3rd floor - Provide Yukata and small towel for lending to use - Free luggage storage ( limited time only ) - Free umbrella to use temporarily - Clean, safe and convenient - TV and radio in capsules CONS : - Check-in a little late at 5 pm / check-out 10 am - The lobby common area is small and not allowed to sit between 10 am - 5 pm. - Only 1 shower room and 2 toilets on the 3rd floor But it's Tokyo where the spaces are limited.

NNM85It was my first experience staying in a capsule hotel. I was lucky because the room I was allocated was quiet and tidy. There are 8 capsules in the room. You get a locker space which is the size of a carry-on bag and shoes. The capsule is small, but big enough for changing clothes and organising my stuff. I loved the big bathroom. I came back to the hotel around 3 am, and I could use it just by myself!

Ccurious_catWell located near a train station, with a famous fox temple nearby and good local food.. checkin and checkout process was easy and seamless.. beds were clean and comfortable, with free ear plugs provided toilets were closed for cleaning from 10am to 4pm.. this seems like the standard for most hostels/ capsule places.. they had a small foyer for regular folks but its not too big and sometimes crowded
