An exclusive sanctuary high above Japans cosmopolitan capital Aman Tokyo is Amans first urban concept hotel situated adjacent to the Otemachi Forest. Offering birds eye views of the Imperial Palace Gardens and surrounding Tokyo landmarks the hotel features a serene Aman Spa and a peaceful inner garden. Surrounded by engawa a wooden feature dividing the inside and out the soaring lobby rises nearly 30 metres.
Aman Tokyo is a monument to the modern-day Japanese capital - a place where urban dynamism is tempered with serenity.
Perched above the Tokyo skyline the private dining room and boardroom are perfect for both on- and off-duty occasions.

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

Hostel was in a good location walking distance to local bars and shopping streets. Metro is a 5 min walk away. The hostel wasn’t very social and didn’t give much information on what to do or where to go. Rooms lacked baggage storage.

First, the location was so good. Everything was close to this hostel. Ueno station and night market, and shopping. Hostel cleanliness was good. I stayed three nights and thought towel will be charged everyday but it wasn’t. You have to use the towel that charged first day until you check out. They had the elevator. Woman and man room was separated by floor which was good. Air conditioning was good. Everything was good. I am planning to book again this hostel. And when you check out u have to peel off the bed sheet.

This is a well-designed hotel with the use of warm wood throughout the hotel common areas and rooms. The rooms are not large, which is perfectly normal in Tokyo, but the bathrooms are relatively spacious. The hotel is located on a side street behind a main drag, so there is a definite sense of tranquility about this hotel. There are multiple transportation links, both trains and subways, close by, and small shops and restaurants within walking distance (a somewhat unique neighborhood since there are a number of universities in the area). The breakfast buffet was ample, with eggs made to order, but the Japanese breakfast available on the weekends is fantastic (there is a limit of 15 meals per day so you need to arrive early). My only complaints were that the lighting in the room could be brighter and the weak Wifi signal (it kept dropping). Overall, though, a very nice stay, but the place will become more popular and more expensive soon.

The Turn Table Hostel is a friendly hostel that provides dorms, share-bedrooms and single bedrooms. As a frequent traveller to Tokyo, I am fond of Shibuya because of its diverse range of activities, from shopping to dining, from exploring the city’s history to witnessing its continuous evolution. Turn Table Hostel is a lovely, cozy hostel that offers adequate facilities for travellers. During my stay at the Hostel, I chose a single bedroom with an individual bathroom. What surprises me the most is the food quality at the hostel’s restaurant - Turn Table Restaurant, on Level 1. Each traveller is eligible to taste either three kinds of sashimi OR Awa vegetable tempura for free if you want to dine inside the hostel restaurant. I chose vegetable tempura, of which the quality is good with decent presentation. I also ordered the sashimi seafood rice bento and a glass of red sangria for my dinner. Overall, the dinner was lovely, and the staff can generally speak good English.

DDancelikecrazyyyStayed here for 2 nights from the opening day. This place is located very close to all the attractions in Asakusa, stations and shops. During our stay there, we went to Akihabara it was only a few stations away. The staffs were very friendly and helpful!! They even stored our luggages before check in and after check out so that we could stroll around Asakusa. Thank you so much:) Will definitely come back next time I visit Tokyo.

GGuest UserIt is under new ownership and management. Name was changed but it is the previous Oak Hostel Fuji with the same beds and rooms. They renovated the kitchen lounge area. Looks nicer but the bed types are not comfortable to get in or out even if you had the lower bed. So, honestly it is overpriced as long as they have these painful beds. 5000 JPY will get you a private room at a hotel even around Tokyo. Or you can pay 1,000 JPY more to find a nice hotel around Asakusa or in Yokohama.

GGuest UserOverall it’s a good experience for one night stay. Smooth check in with English printed instructions, easy to understand and follow. Clean and tidy facilities. You can see Tokyo tower from the lounge and rooftop. Nice garden and temples in walking distance. Local dining is okay nearby. Just that it’s difficult to get a good night sleep when someone checked it late after midnight and chat before going to bed and set their alarm clock to 4am to ring forever. Even though it’s clearly printed on the instructions and noted on the wall to advise guests refrain from making noise to affect other guests.
KKamanaaEasy to find the location nearby the station . Pretty safe n secured street of this capsule . For 2nights is fine with for the experience.
Clean spacious room with well equipped amenities , change everyday for the freshness of you stay consecutive night .
Bathroom n lockers room are on the same floor that can be jammed up in the morning before 10 & shower times 11-12 evening .
Other than that . Roof lounge is great to chill for while

GGuest UserI solo traveled to Japan for a month and stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks. Everything looks exactly like the pictures! I've seen some comments about there being only one bathroom for the whole dorm, but I went in June (not so many people, I guess?) and never had any issues. The location is really good, and using Google Maps makes it easy to find your way. It even recommends the best route depending on where you want to go!
A few things to keep in mind: there's only a microwave and a fridge, so cooking isn't possible. However, there is water, and you can get hot water for instant meals.
Special thanks to one of the staff members, Kotoha. She was amazing, we had great conversations, and she recommended places to visit, where to eat, and snacks to take home!
If I ever had the chance again I will be definitely going back, ty!

__yne_nhiiwua suitable place for a solo traveler like me when the hotel price in tokyo is quite reasonable here I also slept well and the air conditioning is very ok there are all the necessary amenities and it is really clean and on the 8th floor there is a quiet room to rest and eat with a very nice view just annoying because of a few problems if you have 2 suitcases in which if you have a big suitcase it won't fit in the locker because it's small and cramped but this is a capsule hotel so it's ok because the booking was quite late so the price is about 40 eur 1 night I am very satisfied with the location famous for korean street and kpop korean food also near shinjuku and then shibuya so it's easy to move around but the neighborhood is a bit bustling but inside the capsule hotel you can't hear anything outside

OohitorismagoI laughed next to the love hotel, but it was a decent guest house, and it was better to say a capsule hotel. There was a bathroom, but it was too dirty to enter because I was scared. Use only shower All amenities such as showers are available, including large towels. It's amazing for this price! Amenity is handed over in a dedicated bag, a system that returns everything at check-out. Use a dedicated disposable slipper. I think the location is good.

GGuest UserFor my first trip to Tokyo I knew I wanted to stay in Shinjuku and I wanted ton stay in a capsule hotel. This was great. It is a proper capsule hotel with rows of cubbyhole bunks. Quite comfortable and I had no issues with noise. You get a locker for your stuff, bedding, PJs, slippers, some toiletries, a towel...everything you need. The bathrooms were big and well equipped. Breakfast was included but it was in a separate building somewhere and I never bothered to go find it. I just got a tin of coffee from the vending machines on the kitchen floor. The wifi was good. There is a weird thing where you sort have to check out for a bout 4 hours each day, but I could leave my bag in the locker and I had the same bunk, so it wasn't a big deal. The place, despite being on an upper floor of a tower is easy to find (I used maps.me) and it is just a couple mis form the train station. I thought it was awesome and would definitely stay there again.

Ssnowleopard_llA solo travel stay is always chosen near the station with a large bath. This is within walking distance from Shibuya Station (the slope is a little hard if it is a suitcase), jinizumi station is close, natural Lawson is next to it, there are many restaurants, and the share cycle port is also very close The location was quite convenient. It was very cold to check in at the outdoor window and to go to the floor with the cabin and the rest room bathroom in the outdoor passage (conversely, it seems to be hot in summer). The rest room was warm and relieved, but there was no coffee or sweets I saw in the word of mouth...I want you to leave a microwave oven. The air conditioning in the cabin was cold for me, and I thought it would be nice to borrow a blanket. The large bath was also very cold from the window next to the washroom. Pottery and cherry blossoms? The bathtub was cold and cold and not put in ... It was a pity that the music was also flowing and very devised. But it is thankful that I extended my legs in a large bathtub and warmed it. The first floor seems to have changed from the bar to the coin laundry. I thought it would be nice to be able to check in here because it was warm and space. I think there are many cold women, so I am glad to have a countermeasure in the future. The staff were very kind. Thank you!
