The location of the hotel is good, it's near the metro and JR, the Ameyoko market is also nearby so it's very convenient.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious, however, if you intent to stay for many days the main course may get a little boring since the options are the same each day.
One of the downsides of the hotel is that there are not a lot of light bulbs in the room, making the room dim.

Although the hotel has been open for 10 years, it is very well maintained. The whole walnut wood element is the keynote, which shows the low-key luxury and texture. It is a very good accommodation experience. The only flaw is that not all staff are proficient in English, and there are not many breakfast buffet options, but the à la carte udon set meal is very delicious. The Tokyo Tower view room has a great view. The room is very large in Tokyo. The design is reasonable and user-friendly, and it feels very good.

In Tokyo, where land is at a premium, this B&B is small, exquisite, and very Japanese-style, suitable for accommodation of less than four people. The B&B is located five minutes away from Sensoji Temple. It is surrounded by typical Japanese-style houses and there are many izakayas. Shopping, dining and transportation are very convenient. There are two toilets and a shower room on the upper and lower floors of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and washing machine, just like the picture.

12 points. Recommend this hotel to friends who come to Ikebukuro.
Let's talk about the location first. It's only a three-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It's very easy to find on the roadside.
The hotel is newly opened. You can find the environment by looking at the pictures I posted.
It's very fresh and very comfortable.
You can order food, drinks and coffee when sitting outside at night.
There is a self-service machine on the first floor for check-in.
All supplies can be picked up in the lobby on the first floor.
The room is very big. What's special is that there is a steam room and a massage bathtub.
I booked a family of three and each person had a bed and slept very comfortably.

Great apartment hotel with small balcony, kitchenette, bath and shower room.
The king bed is two doubles pushed together, but this is fine as the mattresses are comfortable and join together well.
Location is great as it is close to the Azabu-juban station and also close to several pretty good restaurants.
Very relaxing accommodation to end our Japan trip, we stayed for four nights.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, and the check-in was efficient. The location closes to subway stations and lots of restaurants near by.
However, the photos from the hotel was not matching well with the room we stayed. The 22-squared-meter room wasn’t as big as you think, as they put a small kitchen, mid-size fridge, and a family-size laundry machine in your room, leaving the aisle very crowded to walk around and can barely open up our luggages.
The bathroom was also super tiny, and if you’re around 2m height you would likely to have to bend your knees while showering. On the other hand, they place the sink at a super low position that basically made for kids.
If you expect to cook and use the laundry during your stay, this is a great choice for you. Otherwise, you’ll find out the room wasn’t as big as you see from their photos. If I were to book a 22-squared-meter room in Tokyo with a similar priceI will definitely stay with another hotel next time.
YyongdanielIt’s just wonderful to stay in ascott. It is just opposite to otemachi station (find exit C9). Best of all, it has a 24 hour gym, suitable for gym goers / and more importantly business travel.
The room is bigger than most ordinary rooms in Tokyo, with art of state facilities. The staff here are attention, and helpful.
Do consider if you have the extra budget 😊

EElisia LohWe took the Narita Express from Narita Terminal straight to Tokyo and transferred to the Yamanote Line at Okachimachi Station using the Narita Express Pass. This was a smooth transfer from the airport to our hotel.
We really appreciated the hotel's convenient location, just a 5-minute walk along the train tracks from Okachimachi JR Station. It's also close to both the Ginza and Hibiya metro lines, and situated between Akihabara and Ueno stations, which are easily accessible by a short walk or a single train stop. Although the hotel is next to the train tracks, the noise is minimal and the trains stop running around midnight.
The hotel features a combo washer, which is essential for a family of five. The room is spacious and includes a super single bed, a queen bed, and three futons, along with a small kitchenette for quick breakfasts. There are numerous dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as convenience stores like Lawson, FamilyMart, and Newsday right outside the hotel and train station.
We also enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel, including a walk to Ueno Park where we could relax with a coffee. The park is adjacent to the Tokyo National Museum, the Cultural Museum, and the zoo, making it a great spot to spend a day.

Just 7-9 minutes walk to Shinjuku gyoen station and around 15 minutes to Shinjuku main St. Surrounded by night life area and some fastfood like Yoshinoya and Sukiya. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially mr Lorenso. The best things is they have a 25m2 room which you can’t find in Shinjuka area with the reasonable price loke this hotel.

TTravelifeJoI recently stayed at Citadines Central Shinjuku and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Shinjuku, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. It's just a short walk to the Shinjuku Station, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby.
The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the modern bathroom facilities. The free Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay, which was a big plus.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They provided useful information about the local area and were always ready to assist with any questions or requests.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Citadines Central Shinjuku. It's a great option for those looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Shinjuku. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserIt's located in Taito, about 1 mile to a couple of train lines including the convenient Yamanote Line. That's not too far, but I was in a wheelchair having broken my foot, and that was a slog for my adult child to push me - so not the best location, but clearly it's a good location for the price. The room was not large but much larger than a typical Japanese hotel room, with tatami mats on one end and two twin beds on the other end, and a dining table with chairs in the middle. It was clean, the bathroom really clean. There was an air purifier or portable air conditioner (everything is in Japanese) next to the bed in addition to an overhead split AC. The air purifer had a rug of dust that fluffed out the sides and the machine had a blinking light with an icon that screamed ”clean the filter.” Perhaps they added it to improve air flow. Felt a bit stuffy in there. Staff was nice - the one and only time we dealt with someone at the reception. It's kind of hassle free check in and check out - when you check out, all you do is scan the QR code on the inside of the front door, and that's it. There are no facilities to speak of and no one changed bedlinens and towels. Which is what we expect for the price and perfectly fine for 3-4 nights.

GGuest UserStudio G2 is located within walking distance of Ikebukuro, which is a bustling area both during the day and night. It was conveniently located close to transport, including the Tokyo Sakura Tram (the last tram line in Tokyo). A convenience store (Maruetsu Petit) is just round the corner. After seeing the accommodation online, I thought it would be an interesting place to stay. This proved to be both a positive and negative experience. The positives: location, modern, extra cooking facilities (stovetop, frypan, saucepan, knife, ladle, spoon), plates/bowls, cutlery, mug, separate shower / toilet (and both were clean). The negatives: linen was dirty (after contacting manger, clean linen was provided on bed), no bathmat (only towel, hand towel / face washer), small chair to sit on (which wasn't very comfortable), only 1 pillow available (request was made for another, but response was 1 pillow as a single bed, justified, but not helpful), no plugs for basins, no glass for drinking. If there are other people staying in adjoining rooms, then you are likely to hear noise coming from these. Once I filled in the online form (and although providing a copy of my passport initially, this may have been missed) the instructions for accessing the room were easy to follow. Although it was easy to climb up the ladder to access the bed, if I had to do this again, I probably wouldn't choose this style of accommodation.

SsoolinhhhDespite of the bad reviews on google, we still booked thru trip because we saw the review for a private room was not bad. And it was. The room was bigger compared to other hotels I stayed. Basic room, no tv, toothbrush, face towel… but for the price I paid it was good enough. The location is good just next to the train station. Many food stores and shops around. Recommended!
GGuest User1.Check-in was via tab located at the front counter, just need to follow the instructions and will easily get the door pin code. However we had problems previously as the pin number was locked, probably because we have entered the pin before 3 pm check-in time. So I had to call the hotline provided and explained my problem. Luckily the staff who picked up the phone understand English so he gave us a new number.
2.We got a unit with 2 rooms, just enough for my small family. Beds are comfortable, no heater but air conditioning with heater function.
3.Kitchen is functional and all equipments are present.
4.Washing machine is provided but no dryer, it's okay for us.
5.Shower ventilation fan was way too loud comparing to the one at the toilet,, kids are worried about the noise on their head. Please please fix it urgently at all units.
6.Location is okay, there's a famous Halal restaurant nearby about 8 minutes walk called Halal Sakura an Uzbekistan owned.
7.Supermarkets are along the way to the apartment. Food supplies are easy to get.
8.If you are coming from Uguisudani station, kindly exit at North entrance of the station as it is more convenient than the other side.
9.There's one Don quijote store and a kebab (not sure if halal) near Uguisudani North entrance.
Overall it is a great accommodation with an affordable price. Towels, linens, soap and shampoo are comfortable and sufficient. Thanks for a great management. A slight improvement will make it even better.
